Sweet lil place. Home cookin. Friendly and fun. Locally popular. Next to post office. And they’re fast if you’re on the road like we.

Great breakfast good price. My wife and I eat breakfast here every weekend since discovering JJ several years ago. We don’t live in Dansville and still find it worth the drive. There are always new ‘specials’ on the board and for a rather small diner the breakfasts are very good and diverse. I love the Jungle eggs and my wife likes the LA cinnamon toast or waffle with strawberries. Your coffee cup will always get topped up before you get ½ way down.

I love the food here, and it’s at a wonderful price. The waitresses are wonderful as well, always checking in and getting us what we ask for.

Was slightly disappointed by Java Jungle after reading all the positive reviews. Very similar to the typical American diner food you find in the tri-state area. The food was average — above average. My chicken wrap didn’t have enough filling and as soon as I picked up my wrap the small chicken pieces tumbled out. It was also overdrenched in dressing. We got our orders to go and they did not provide utensils nor napkins for us. We stopped by on the way up to Canada and skipped it on our return trip home as it was just so underwhelming.

This is a tiny little«diner» type of restaurant which seems popular among the locals. We first tried to go here on a saturday at 3PM but it was closed; no this is not the place for late night eats. Managed to get breakfast here the following sunday morning and it was pretty good. I ordered a standard scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns combo. The scrambled eggs were surprisingly fluffy and tasty, not rubbery like many greasy spoon diners make them. My better half’s stuffed french toast got excellent reviews and was eaten pretty quickly. The service here is wonderful and our coffee cups were never allowed to go below ¾ full. And you can’t beat the price of the food; this place is a great value. I definitely want to check this place out for lunch or dinner sometime

Great food and friendly service. Although the décor is definitely dated, I’m really glad that we stopped by on our way to Buffalo. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. We will definitely stop by on our way back.

A coffee house at its best: a home grown business that serve as a defacto community center, serving decent java and run by nice people. Thank you, Java Jungle!

We have three dishes one was a Jack Daniels burger which was excellent. Also a crab stuffed haddock was great. All the dishes came out hot. Petite filet was an excellent cut of meat we asked for it cooked medium, came out well done which was too bad however it was still good.

We were looking for a place to stop for breakfast on our way to Canada and found this great place on Unilocal. It’s small but very comfortable. The waitress was great and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast, eggs and hash, and also managed to snag a piece of pancake from one of my kids — also very good. On the way back from Canada I was trying to figure out a way to stop here again… but couldn’t make it work. Next time!

Don’t let the name fool you, Java Jungle isn’t a coffee house — it’s a restaurant with really good food, very reasonable prices and friendly, efficient staff. I grew up near New York City so I expect a bit more from a restaurant, and Java Jungle meets those expectations.

We parked our car and this was the closest restaurant on a cold day. We were a bit fooled though, as I thought this was a café like a coffee type place(with the word Java in it) but it turned out to be a regular restaurant with a mexican themed menu. They had a lot on the menu though, from fajitas, quesadilla’s, burgers, soups, etc. We ordered a veggie quesadilla and the soup of the day, french onion. The soup was surprisingly good with great flavor and lots of cheese on top. Same with the quessadilla, lots of veggies and tons of cheese and crisp on the outside. The food came out really fast and our server was nice and speedy. Overall a good dining experience, we were in and out in less than 30 minutes which is exactly what we were looking for.
