Ordered a spinach feta pizza for pickup here… only to find a soggy mess when I opened it at home. Instead of wilting and draining the spinach and placing it on top of the cheese like anyplace else, they put raw-probably frozen-spinach under the cheese and sauce, leaving it to cook and the juices soaking the entire crust. Gross. I’ve had a few bad pizzas here… Extremely dry BBQ chicken and a scorched Hawaiian but this was the final straw. Not coming here again.

Best buff chick calzone their waffle fries are also to die for. If you want some good take out come here I would just say there chicken fingers aren’t the best. As well as occasionally their burgers are a little to well done if you know what I mean. Other than those rare experiences all in all good food. There ziti is really great they have a good sauce.

Horrible service. Woman taking order argued with me about what time they closed after I checked on the website then kept making sarcastic comments to other employees about my order and what time they close. Never again will I go here I’ll take my $ 40 order where they appreciate my business. Food was mediocre anyways.

We stopped in while using the laundromat next door. We ordered a large pizza and it was great! The crust was super crispy and toppings were great. We ordered extra cheese, which was maybe too much. But other than that, it was very delicious!

Extremely disappointing! Ordered multiple pizzas today from Petes a Place in Danvers for my son’s birthday party and I am now regretting my choice. The crust and dough was so bland and not crispy. The cheese was so blahhh and not fresh at all.

I just had the boneless buffalo chicken wrap on a spinach wrap! It was AMAZING! Definitely recommend trying this. REAL chicken and lots of yummy hot buffalo sauce!

Know it may only have bern a cheese pizza, but an hour and a half and a temp of 115 is not good. Tired of the excuses. Was a good place when it opened and have ordered regularly but tired of the treatment now.

Every time we order from Petes a place which is at least once a week we end up happy! The pizza is really good and I have always been picky about my pizza. After trying 5 other pizza joints in town I would have to say Petes is my favorite. It’s also convenient because they have slices! I would try the Ceasar Salad also, it always has plenty of croutons & cheese which is what I look for in a Ceasar! The delivery driver is always friendly and their wait time is typically on point.

I now have ordered from them 4 times and each time I get either the wrong thing or it takes 2 hours to get my delivery. They are way over priced

I just moved to the area and tried Pete’s for the first time. It’s very good! Pizza was perfect. Calzones are huge! We got the chicken broccoli alfredo calzone and it tasted like fresh ingredients packed with large pieces of chicken and broccoli. Delish! The only thing I didn’t like was the mozzarella sticks. They had a strange flowery taste to them. Will definitely order from here again!

Completely different than the one in peabody, they have about a half of the menu items that the other one does so I don’t even bother with this one.

Although they have a lot of things on the menu at this restaurant, because they are a pizza place, I’m rating them on that. And by my standards the pizza is quite good. Whenever I head down there the staff is extremely friendly, and the food is always ready really quick!

Just had to walk out of here because of the rudest customer service I’ve ever encountered. We ordered from here on a regular basis, but since they have hired the new, rude employee, we will not be going back. She tried charging us an extra $ 18 to add steak to our veggie wraps, when the menu clearly states it’s an extra $ 4. When I nicely tried to point it out to her, she threw a tantrum in front of customers and the manager on duty. When I spoke to the manager, he did nothing to rectify the situation. They both said that the $ 4 on their menu(both to go and menu on the wall) was a mistake. What a joke. Never been treated so rudely in my life. Also, since the new employee has been there, we have called in several orders and they have been wrong every time. We Will not be going back and I will tell everyone I know(and that is a lot of people) not to go there. It’s a shame that a place with decent food would have such a rude person working the phone and counter. Before she worked there, we never had a problem and they were all pleasent.

Just called in an order from Pete’s a place and it took almost an hour and a half for them to deliver it. All we ordered was 2 wraps and it’s a 5 minute drive. By the time we got them they were so unbelievably soggy and disgusting. I will never order from them again.

We’ve tried this place several times because it’s one of the few restaurants that’s truly convenient to where we live(walking distance, pretty rare in the ‘burbs) but it’s pretty consistently mediocre. I think we’ve tried our way through enough of the menu to stop, which is overwhelmingly giant and probably part of the problem(why do you need 15 sandwiches AND20 subs, I’ll be here all night reading the descriptions). The pizzas have an unexciting crust with greasy toppings that all wind up tasting like one thing — for the honey bbq chicken, that was sugar(not even honey, more like they squirted corn syrup out of an industrial vat onto it), for the five alarm meat lover it was the sour taste of pickled jalapeño juice(apparently that’s the definition of spicy here), etc. Even the white arugula pizza, which was supposed to be spicy and with caramelized onions, just tasted sticky sweet, which happens when you throw a bunch of sugar in with the onions to fake true caramelization. The sandwiches are no better, they’re on uninsipiring soggy grocery store bread with a few flavorless toppings. They don’t even season the meat, which is easy to tell on the sandwiches that come with nothing but it, just a big lump of sad beef. I would love for this to be our neighborhood spot, but with the quality of food, I’d rather get in the car and drive to the next town over for a good meal.

So I have ordered from this place before the bought Pellana. My friend daunted the owner awesome guy. I so not know if the sold but I have never seen him again. Reminds me of build a building and or. Brand and sell. Unfortunately it had been lost, I am trying it again tonight and I am so disappointed. I called and ordered food while asking a question I was hung up on. Called back to Change my sub it was changed with a dial tone. Called back and said before you hang up on me can I give you a cc. Long story short I realize more and more to be nice to guest, care, we care, I care and pay it forward.

Bleh. How does a restaurant with such a good name make such awful food? They get two stars, instead of one, because delivery was prompt and the food wasn’t poisonous. The salad did not taste like produce. It tasted more like paper. The pizza was unpleasantly greasy, and not the good grease that you want on a pizza, but rather some kind of commercial non-stick sort of stuff.

I heard about Pete’s a Place because of an upcoming Flipping Boston show so I thought I would stop by and check it out. I have to say I was pretty impressed. I’m extremely picky when it comes to pizza and the pizza here was really good. Definitely one of the better pizza joints on the North Shore. The crust was delicious, not too thin, just about right. The service was very fast and super friendly. I like the updated look. Everything looked very clean and the paint was bright with nice colors that go well with the overall theme. They even offered fresh pizza samples at the counter. The menu looked like they had a decent selection of items to choose from. I’ll be back for sure. Business was steady the entire time we were there, that’s always a good sign. I’m looking forward to trying something else on the menu next time.
