I’m not sure why I haven’t discovered Jules Thin Crust earlier. I sure would have eaten there many times by now. After trying out the Rockridge location, I came across the Danville shop and didn’t waste any time going for some much needed thin crust veggie pizza. My favorite pizza has been the Beet Special which is also topped with oranges, pea sprouts and goat cheese. This time, I also tried the Sweet Potato pizza with leeks, mushrooms and ricotta. Both were as good as they looked. I liked how they sliced each piece in half, so that one slice was in 4 rectangles. Total of 4 slices came out to $ 6 and some change. They heat up the pizza and bring it to your table on a board. Everything looks better on a cutting board these days. I love JTC! Simple and fresh ingredients used in creative recipes makes for delicious and more nutritious pizzas. Huge fan! Only gripe is that customer service could be a bit friendlier.

Absolutely love this place, but workers need to pay more attention sometimes to their customers. I was waiting in line and when I was up next all the workers walked away and we’re talking in the back. After waiting for a while, one worker came back, an entire family had cut in front of me and the worker went straight to them.

While the ingredients tasted organically fresh and the combination varieties could lure one to try everything(28 in all), the experience was severely impacted by the lack of a systematic ordering process, or understanding thereof. Upon entering the restaurant on my first visit, I found myself standing in a long line at least ten persons deep. On a large sign near the entrance were instructions ‘on how it works’. If one chose to order by the slice, «go to the counter»; and if ordering a whole pizza, «go to the cashier». Seemed pretty clear, so with two whole pizzas in mind to order I walked up to the cashier where the staff member confirmed that I could place the order immediately with her. Not long afterwards, a customer rudely approached me and condemned me for ‘cutting the line’. I explained the entrance sign, however there was no reasoning with him. The staff member never once spoke up. Between the rude patrons including staring bystanders and the unsupportive employee, this was a very unwelcoming experience.

I like that Jules is a thin crust pizza, and they offer a varying selection, as well as vegan. Unfortunately I have received over cooked crust that was burned, and a pizza that the cheese wasn’t melted. I don’t eat there, but take it to go. I will check my pizza before I leave next time. For me the place has been hit or miss, but will try it one more time.

Pizza isn’t in my current diet, but I customized my salad here using a bunch of their organic ingredients without a problem. It was delicious and service was great. Pleasant experience overall and will probably go back.

A healthier alternative to pizza! We were very surprised to find the pizza was so flavorful and delicious! We also had the kale quinoa salad which was probably one of the better salads we’ve ever had. I can’t want to go back and try one of the many flavor combos they have!

The pizza here is fantastic for anyone who wants a healthier type of pizza that isn’t drowning in saturated fats. I’m not a vegetarian but I almost always go for the veggie slices because they are so good and healthy. The choices are so unique and flavorful. I love that you can order by the slice because you can try multiple types. They definitely have meat pizzas but if you don’t like thin crusts, don’t come here.

Friendly servers and unique pizza combinations! The thin crust is done very well, and presentation is on point. Prices are reasonable as well.

I love thin crust pizza and this is the best I’ve ever had. I’ve tried them all and love them all. The service is always quick and kind, and as a teacher I get 10% off, which I really appreciate! The seasonal and fresh ingredients are appreciated and I love the quick slices. The interior is clean and nice, and my family appreciates the board games to play while we wait. Just a great all over place.

So disappointed by my Jules Pizza. Ordered a large pepperoni and a pear & cheese. The thin crust was good but the toppings were very sparse and bland – Hardly any flavor at all! We ordered take out which may have been a mistake because the 5 min drive home didn’t help. I expected a lot more flavor from artisan pizza. Hopefully my bad experience was unique since Jules is highly rated but am not willing to spend another $ 40+ to find out.

When I walked in, I expected just another pizza joint. But was I wrong. Jules rules. The pizza was unique yet familiar and I would go there again and again. Thank you, Jules, for your grand pizza.

+ BBQ chicken and mushroom pizza — mouthwatering, balsamic drizzle is the perfect touch; I have never been fond of BBQ chicken pizza, but this slice is their best bite + Heirloom tomato pizza + Pesto, goat cheese, caramelized onion pizza + Opt for pizzas with cheese — many options have great toppings, but without cheese something is frankly missing — Salad pizzas — least favorite of mine, don’t like what happens to the lettuce when it’s in the oven Great place to grab a snack slice, or order many slices to take home and heat yourself. Mix and match slices to try as many as you like, or to accommodate different preferences.

So good! Any chance I get I stop in for lunch. The best value for the price. Two slices under $ 7. And fresh tasty ingredients! I always get the BBQ chicken, cheese, pepperoni, or a veggie topped slice. I wish there were more locations in the East Bay. The staff is always friendly and when I order to go its ready in less than 2 minutes.

Enter this restaurant and you feel like you have entered the deep south. Customers eating here stare at customers of color like they are aliens who just landed from a far off planet. Ignoring all of the above, Jules thin crust pizzas are amazing! I just cannot give it five stars due to the kind of crowd that hangs out here to eat the pizzas. Maybe in the future when the crowd sobers up I can go back again and continue to enjoy their thin crust pizzas, especially the veggie # 1 that comes with the deliciously spicy drizzle of harissa!

Great taste. Had the thin crust pizzas: pesto onion and artichoke. Tasted great and had a wonderful meal. Not too expensive either. Pizza comes in rectangle box so it’s funny. Place is also nice and family friendly. Would recommend for a family outing or even a date. Even though it’s thin crust it’s quite heavy and filling. Toppings are very fresh.

Jules is one of my favorite lunch spots in Danville. Plus, for those of us on a budget, it’s probably the most bang for your buck in the area that isn’t fast food. There are so many options to choose from too! I think that’s the best part. I am a meatatarian but this is one of the few places where I sometimes only order veggie toppings. Some of my favorites include: Meat #6(buffalo chicken) or the one with the beets or the one with the sweet potatoes. The staff is friendly, the seating area is always clean, and I love that they installed a water spout instead of that awkward water jug they had before. A lot of families go here, so my only suggestion is to expect a loud environment. Best of all, you can get two slices for under $ 7. That is a GREAT deal for this area.

I love this place whenever I need a lunch! Food. The crunchy crust! The fresh toppings! YUM! If you like thin-crust pizza, this is the place. The pizzas are on the lighter, less greasy side. The balsamic chicken is probably one of my favorites. Love the sweet balsamic flavor on this one. For $ 3.75 a slice, the price can’t be beat. Most will need 2 slices, a big eater will need 3. Process. You go through the line while viewing all the pizzas they have for the day. Your slices are reheated in their oven while you pay and the pizza is brought to your table. Quick and simple. Overall. There usually is a line when you hit lunchtime, but the line goes rather quickly.

We found Jules after wandering around the Livery plaza. I have always been a fan of thin crust pizza and my interest was piqued since it was the thinnest crust I’ve ever seen! I like that they use locally sourced and organic ingredients. I had a simple tomato basil with garlic and asked for extra crispy — the tomatoes were fresh and crust was nice and crunchy. I can see how people would eat several slices since it’s not that filling but that’s a good thing because you don’t feel guilty afterwards. Thin crust + organic ingredients = winning combination for those who are trying to eat healthy!

I ordered takeout from here a few times but today’s was the first time eating in for lunch. It makes a whole world of difference! Ordered a medium«Jeff’s Special» with gluten-free thin crust. Toppings were a mix of meat and veggies — thinly sliced yellow peppers, red peppers, and some greens. I especially liked how the sauce and cheese were balanced — you can taste everything and eating the pizza wasn’t even messy! Will definitely come back. I like how they list all the ingredients for each pizza.

Weird, I totally thought I did a review on this place. Wow, I’m slacking. So I went here with my wifey the night before she went back to Seattle, one of the main places I wanted to try out since I am a vegetarian & my roommate raved about it. We walked in close to closing time but they still had pizzas out. You point out which pizza you would like then they warm it up for you & have it delivered to where ever you are sitting. The slices were pretty big but I think I can eat about 2, maybe 3 slices if I were really hungry. I believe I had the #15. vegan: portobello mushrooms, garlic, extra virgin olive oil, arugula, organic tomato sauce, mushrooms(vegan cheese available upon request). It was yummy! I haven’t gone back since but I think I am due :) The service was awesome. The employees were super friendly even if it was close to closing time.
