I had been standing in line for 15 minutes only to get to the register and be told he is closing(I was the last in line) and I needed to go get in another line which is several people deep. So now I have been standing in line another 10 minutes where the employee has counted the same plants 4 times and is arguing with the customer about how many flowers she has. The employee that walked away on break said«I’m sorry I’ve had to pee for the last 5 minutes». Gosh, I hate that.

It’s been within the last two or three years that I’ve gotten in touch with my inner gardener. I don’t have the green thumb my Mamma has, but fortunately, Home Depot has a lot of very inexpensive plants. If I kill them, I can just go buy more without spending a fortune. Really, I don’t kill many, but it’s still nice to know that if I do, I didn’t spend a lot on them to begin with. Also, partially thanks to my love for Pinterest, I have several home improvement projects to work on. Now my husband is a mighty good man, but a handy man, he is not. I’m pretty handy with a hammer, but I’m too accident prone to pick up a saw. When it comes to me and power tools I’m really a disaster waiting to happen y’all. I’ve been told that Home Depot will cut the wood that you buy from them, and that’s something I’m going to find out as soon as I start replacing the builder grade door and window facings and building custom shutters. I’ll update with that info. We come here about once every couple of weeks to pick up this or that. I could spend an hour just walking around looking at everything they have. The selections are large and the prices are reasonable. The employees at this location are always super friendly and helpful. Typically, I’m not crazy about big chain stores, but I can’t help but love this one.
