Great atmosphere, friendly people, reasonable pricing. My stylist, Tricia, did a fantastic job with my cut. I couldn’t be happier.

I would have never thought such a great salon would be located in downtown Davenport!
I started going here after my wife changed stylists and I must say, what a change for the best! My son and I are both seeing Hank as our stylist and he is, simply put, awesome. He has great ideas and is totally honest with you, which is very much appreciated when it comes to hairstyles. The salon itself is beautiful inside, very clean, and the staff are all extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone, as well as Hank as a stylist!

Terrible experience with extensions. Do not ever go there unless you want your hair to fall out less than a week later and the won’t put your hair after you spend $ 1,000 on your hair. Unbelievable!

Went in yesterday for a cut and was sadden to find out my stylist had moved. They recommended me to Shaundra and I am sooo glad they did! I absolutely love my cut! She was very knowledgeable and a great person to talk to throughout my cut. My hair looks great and I can’t wait to go back to her again! Thank you so much Shaundra!!!

I have been converted! I actually live in Denver, but travel between the QCs and Denver frequently. I have been seeing my previous hair stylist for nearly 20 years and in just one visit I have changed my loyalties!
Aside from the beautiful décor (much different and improved over the website photos. You must check out the «added» photos) the attention to providing a sincere personal experience sold me. DaMel listened to my ideas and concerns over trying a new look/​cut. She took the time to lay out her thoughts and suggestions as to what might or might not work best for me given my profile and my expectations.
Admit it … We all want to look like the beautiful gal in the photo from which we chose our hair style example! But that’s not always realistic… especially in my case!
But truly I greatly appreciated that she took the time to walk me through how to style my new cut and voilà…, for the first time in ages I’ve been able to recreate how I looked leaving the salon!
I adore my stylist back in Denver. And now my only problem is to figure out how to tell him our run is over. For I will definitely be returning time and again to salon Lucé to see DaMel. I’m looking forward to my next scheduled appointment upon my return in five weeks!

Salon luce is hands down the best hair work in a 100 mile radius. I have been going there for 2 years and will keep returning. My fiancée and I both got our engagement hair cuts there for our pictures. Miranda waterman is who we use and she is awesome. This place is a big city cut with a small city price. Well run business and customer service is out of this world.

I’ve been to Lucé twice now and have never been disappointed. Since I had never been to a high end salon I didn’t know what to expect, but saw some good reviews so I figured I would give it a shot. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted by the hostess and offered a beverage which included alcoholic drinks! I ordered a beer and waited for my stylist.
Once he was ready Hank took me back to his chair. Hank was great with asking me what I wanted and also did a great job offering up suggestions and tips for how to style my hair. You can tell he loves what he does and strives to make sure every haircut looks great. He nailed it with the hair cut and once my hair was done he gave me a hot towel and straight razor to clean up my beard and lines.
For any guy looking to get a good haircut I would suggest Hank @ Lucé. The price which included the haircut, hot towel/​straight razor shave, and a beer was very reasonable.
I already have my next appointment booked and plan on keeping going to Hank to get my haircut!

I’m always nervous when trying out new salons. Since I’m not from the area but was in dire need of a cut and color I decided to try out salon luce. Kristen Jo was my stylist and she was great! My hair is naturally really dark so trying to get a color like red out of it is pretty difficult. She was honest and upfront about how dark or light my hair may come out. In the end, the color turn out great!
I love my long hair and was really hesitant to cut off a lot. Kristen Jo ended up trimming it just a bit. A couple days later I realized that I should have gotten it cut more with more layers. I called the salon and they took me in same day. Kristen Jo cleaned up some areas of concern and didn’t charge me for the cut even though I got the full service.. Shampoo. cut. and style.
They offer great service and will help you out if you are having any concerns. I also noticed that there was always 1 person cleaning around the salon like every 5 minutes. Definitely appreciate the cleanliness!

Living in the QC means the upscale salons are sparse. But when I step in to Salon Luce, I feel like I stepped in from the streets of River North! The place is in an older building but they’ve remodeled twice since opening, and has such a modern, sophisticated vibe. The staff here are incredibly friendly. I’ve always been pleased with the outcome of my hair, and have never had a problem scheduling/​rescheduling an appointment. The only thing that isn’t great, is parking. Coming to Salon Luce is a treat for someone on a budget because it’s not your average salon. They use fantastic products. They have called me back before giving me options for a different appt. day/​time because another client cancelled theirs. I recommend this salon to everyone!

They were able to get me in right before I left town. I usually have trouble getting my hair layered because it’s so thin but it looks amazing!
Amanda was really friendly, great with my hair, had lots of pro tips and is an animal lover. What more could I ask for?

I went to salon Luce to get my hair done formally for the marine corps ball in November and if I could give them ten stars I would. The girls there went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure my hair and my day was awesome. It’s a three and a half hour drive from my house to the salon and if I had the gas money I’d be making the trip monthly to go back. The stylist was super professional and nice, the atmosphere was great, and when I had trouble with transportation the shop manager herself made sure I made it back to where I was going. If you’re looking for a quality hair cut at a salon you’ll look forward to going back to definitely choose Salon Luce.

I called to make an appt for my son to get his hair trimmed and styled for homecoming and he now has short, about ½ inch long hair that is badly chopped up! I was told when I called how the hairdresser my son got did the best w mens styles yet even with a picture he messed up my sons hair, which can’t be fixed now since there’s no hair left to work with! It was about 4″ long on top when I took him in for a trim and style!!! I will never go back again or recomend to anyone!

I used I dread hair cuts before I found this place! Now I can’t wait for next appointment! The stylists are so friendly and give you exactly what to ask for, no questions and no trying to convince you of something else! I finally feel like I’m getting what I’m paying for! Great salon and great staff, your hair will never look better! Worth every penny!

I am relatively new to the area, and I am very picky about who does my hair as well as it being affordable for me. I also am a single mother and getting out of the house is not something I can do often, so getting my hair done is a special day to myself. I love that Salon Luce offers different prices for different levels of their hair stylists to not only match the stylists level of experience but also to provide different price options for clients according to what they are wanting and what they can afford. When I stepped into Salon Luce, I was very pleased at what I saw, and it was unified with the feel of their website design. It has a very modern and chic design that is implemented throughout their salon with stylish décor, and they also have a very great atmosphere that is warm and relaxing. My stylist was beyond friendly and helpful, and I was very glad that I made the choice to go there! I felt like I just experienced a special day to myself, and I was very pleased with my hair and overall experience when I walked out of there!

I got a deep moisture treatment and they did a wonderful job styling. Cost was $ 5 more than was listed on the website, but that probably just needs to be updated.
Got hair cut here a year ago. Didn’t enjoy the experience, but I think I’ll try them again soon. The manager has been really nice about trying to make my experience better, so I think I’ll give them another go.

Having recently moved to the area from Las Vegas, where with family members in the industry, I had developed a rather high standard of expectation for hair care. I was so doubtful that there could be a place in the Quad Cities where I would get the cut, color and service that I wanted, I delayed going for twice as long as I should have.
Based on the few Unilocal reviews, I took a chance and gave Salon Luce a try. On entering the place, I was instantly comfortable.
SALON LUCE and my stylist, Abby did not disappoint!!!
Abby listened to all my concerns and ideas with enthusiasm and patience. She is a positive person with a ‘can-​do’ attitude and a quick smile. When I shared my frustration with a particular problem, she immediately recommended a solution that was so simple i felt silly for not having thought of it myself. We both had a good chuckle over that one!
Abby then gave my curly hair fantastic highlights and perfect cut. We even worked together on the conditioning treatment timing and let it dry naturally so, for the FIRST TIME EVER … I left the salon with my hair looking and feeling exactly how I wanted it to!!!

This is for the Spa Luce satellite salon inside Hotel Blackhawk. I got a facial here with Karla last week. Wonderful! She knows what she’s doing, and is very welcoming and kind. The girls at the waiting room are fun and are always striving to make you comfortable, but not in a chore-​like attitude, they genuinely care.
Spa Luce offers some hair services, but not extensions. I’ve never been to the actual Salon Luce, but if it’s anything like their Spa, I would go there in a heartbeat if I hadn’t already had a hair salon.

Both my husband and I were clients at Salon Luce, though with two different people. I worked with the owner and she was fabulous. She interpreted what I wanted in a great way and actually taught me tricks that I did not know before such as blow drying technique and product technique.
I love to get my hair washed there. Various people washed my hair and everyone did such a wonderful job, it was like they incorporated a scalp massage into the wash. The hair dryers are on these big comfortable club leather chairs that you could sit in for hours.
As soon as you arrive you are greeted with an offer of a drink. The atmosphere is beautiful. Its like an urban-​loft modern feel but also glamourous. It is a little more expensive than i’m used to paying, but it was worth it. My husband was also very happy with his cuts. He has thick hair and his stylist was the first he’s ever had who accentuated this feature instead of trying to «thin it out» as much as possible. That really helped boost his ego and he learned how to style his hair in a way he never knew before.
