Feldspar Pet Spa

First of all, I BELIEVE this place should’ve deserved at least a four stars rating. I have a pomeranian named Mochi and pomeranians are known to have double coats. Sometimes it could be quite difficult to clear out all the matted pieces. However, Ann does a great job of grooming her. Mochi’s fur always turns out to be fluffy ad soft afterward. Compare to other groomers at Davis, I believe this is the best place to bring you dogs in. Maybe the price is a bit more expensive than others but it definitely worth the price. Well, Pictures worth a thousand words. I hope the pictures will do justice.

I love taking my Standard Poodle to the salon! All of the staff love dogs, and do a great job. I wouldnt trust my pretty girl anywhere else. I am a groomer myself, so I am very particular. Why do I take her to Ann? Because she is showing and has to have an incredibly detailed and precise haircut. With Ann’s expert grooming, Tabitha will be cleaning up when she enters the ring.

Our poodle Rusty. and poodle mix Sandy are beautiful and so soft and fluffy after a trip to Feldspar.
They know dogs and treat them like they are their own.
About a year ago Ann noticed Sandy’s coat was thinning and suggested we have his thyroid checked.
Sure enough he needed meds and is now acting like a puppy again and has his wonderful coat back.
I can’t really say enough nice things about Ann and Feldspar.

If you have a difficult dog, not so good. Too rough handling a tough dog.

Five stars all the way and a master groomer of her trade. I have been taking dogs to Feldspra Pet Spa for the last several months at my pet sitting clients requests to get their dog groomed while they are away. I frequent the pet spa at least once a week. I have taken a variety of breeds from a poodles, doodles. to shelties, and a flat coated retriever. I have taken my own dog a Labrador and cat into the shop to get bathed and groomed. The animals always smell great and their fur is silky soft thanks to the professional products Ann uses. Ann does a great job and is really dedicated and passionate about what she does. She is one of the hardest working people I know. Her background in poodles and dogs is evident and they always come out looking fantastic. Not many groomers I know can groom a flat coat but Ann did a great job on Miss daisy. The shop is always clean and the staff is extremely helpful. I am always greeted with a smile. I recently took a sheltie named coco to get groomed after not being bathed for 6 months and Ann made Coco look fantastic and he de matted nicely .
It is very easy to book an appointment here and most dogs are not kept all day like most grooming shops who tend to overbook. This salon is all about quality! Ann is a welcome addition to the Davis community. The dogs always come back happy, content and smelling wonderful. I highly endorse this salon and wish them all the best.

WOW! Ok I own a Bouvier de Flanders Samson is his name. I also own a Black Russian Terrier named Rocky. Samson is a champion show dog that has been groomed quite often for show. Ann is the first groomer besides Samson’s breeder to groom him. This lady knows her stuff. I wanted both dogs to have a short summer cut, but to still look like their breed. My dogs are very large dogs both 125 plus Ann didn’t cut any corners. They came home absolutely beautiful! I’m very impressed with her knowledge of breed types and how to handle them. Rocky my BRT can be very skittish. Ann handles him beautifully. I absolutely love this place. See pictures of my dog posted. I highly recommend this place!
