One word skimpy .If u want just bread this is the place. I stopped going here they act like using to much lettuce will break them. Nice people but not worth the $$.

I’ve been here couple of times. Never really have a long line which is good when you’re in a hurry. Looks nice and clean. The food quality, well I didn’t expect a lot since this is considered Fast Food. Just like any other fast food franchise I don’t expect a lot. Yes, the food is cheap remember this is fast food not some 5 star restaurant. Nice little place.

I like this establishment due to its location, it’s never too busy and if I’m craving a good sandwich in a short amount of time this is where I go. Also depends on time of day. Staff is always top notch and attentive.

I have been a subway fan for a long time, and I have to say that this subway is one of the best subway in town. the staff are pretty friendly, the ingredient are pretty fresh but they need to proof their bread little bit longer. their bread size is little small due to the proofing time. the rest is pretty good.

Not entirely sure how people can give this restaurant good ratings. Ive been here about three times and each time the food was very sub par; I even got food poisoning one of the three times. The customer service at this subway in particular is also very inadequate. The people that work there always seem to be in a rush, even the time I was the only person there. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone unless there is absolutely no other option for you to go. i definitely will not be going back here.

A typical subway, nothing special and nothing terrible. There’s only a few workers(friendly people) that work here and it closes early, The parking lot is very small so I bet it gets packed at lunch, but there’s usually no line if you come in at any other time.

Not impressed. Came at lunchtime. The seven car«parking lot» was full with only one way in and out, so I had to do a four point turn to exit and park across the street. The line moved at a decent pace, but it was hard to have a place to stand. The workers all had accents and spoke softly, which made them very difficult to understand in the noisy space. I felt rushed as i tried to figure out what I wanted. It was embarrassing to have to ask them to repeat themselves… repeatedly. I have many friends from other lands and usually do fine. No one smiled and they barely made eye contact; it felt like they were all unhappy to be there. This didn’t help the communication issue. I won’t be coming back to that franchise. The sandwiches were… meh. The ingredients seemed to lack flavor. No love.

It’s ok, we got there at lunch time so I should expect being rushed through without a smile or greeting. It’s a small place, hard to find a place to sit. They skimp a little on ingredients, I’ve had more meat on sandwiches in other Subway shops. There’s only one restroom, busy for that time of day. Other than that, it’s clean, including the restroom. The staff is efficient and the menu is standard Subway.

Not really sure where reviewers like Aaron D. are coming from on this one. This Subway is like most others I visit = and abject apathy for American standards of customer service. I can appreciate how the guys who run the place work hard and make your order correctly(from time-to-time); that’s why I can give the place 2 stars. But why is it such a radical idea to expect the person making your food to greet you? A smile would be a bonus point. Don’t like to feel hurried as you consider your order? Don’t come here. You’re just cattle in line to this franchisee, waiting for your $ 5 to get slaughtered at the register. Did you know the first stun they zap the cows with to kill them at slaughterhouses doesn’t always work?

Worst customer service ever experienced at any Subway. The employees are very rude, no greeting, no common courtesy, they just stand there with an annoyed expression on their faces while you’re trying to order. I get that your job sucks, but we’ve all been there… I’ve had crummy retail jobs too… it’s a lot better if you’re actually decent to your customers. The sandwiches are uniform throughout the chain so at least they couldn’t mess up my order. Also they totally rip u off on the tax. I always order the same thing whenever I go to any Subway and have never been charged tax before, it’s always $ 5 even(for a non-toasted classic sandwich) no matter what location. But this place charged tax. I know it’s just 50 cents extra… but still, when I asked about it, the cashier said all places tax. I for sure know this location is the only place that taxed for non-toasted items. I just went to the G street one last week! :P Also unlike the downtown location and other subways, this place also does not do the stamp thing, where you buy 9 get stamps and 10th is free. I only came here since I was studying at the Starbucks, but I will never come back. Go to the G street one… much better service and attitude.

I literally just came back from this particular Subway and felt the need to write a review for them. In particular, their customer service. It is a small store right on the corner off 113 and Covell. But with such a small place you’d expect personable service. I definitely did NOT get that. There was only one other customer there and he was sitting down with his sandwich already. Two people were behind the counter helping make the two sandwiches I ordered. I felt rushed and they seemed to have a whatever attitude. As I went to pay, they overcharged me by $ 2 for one of my sandwiches. It’s a convenient location but I will NEVER give into horrible customer service and lack of veggie selection for that.

I’m a big fan of Subways and found myself eating at this establishment quite a number of times out of convenience. But after a while I had to resign myself to going further out of my way to get my Subway-fix. This Subway is the smallest of Davis’s Subway shops, and it’s variety of toppings takes a hit as a consequence. That in and of itself isn’t a big deal, especially when traded for the convenience of location and a shorter wait in line. But I have two big issues with this place: the first is sales tax. The sales tax shouldn’t apply to uncooked foods taken to go, and yet no matter which sub you order, the cashier will add sales tax to your bill. Some 38 or so cents isn’t prohibitively expensive, but out of a matter of principal, it’s lazy and dishonest. The second is their specials. Out of all the Subway joints, this location tends to shutdown or not honor promotions more than anywhere else I’ve been to. They cancelled the frequent-visitor stamps before everyone else and didn’t honor the trade-in values. They frequently cancelled the $ 2.50 sub of the day while still keeping the signs in their windows, and the same was true for the $ 5 foot longs as well. I pretty much only go to Subways because of their specials, and I quickly got tired of gambling whether or not those specials would count on any given day. If those issues aren’t a big deal, or you simply don’t want to or can’t go out of your way, then you’ll still find perfectly edible sandwiches here. But I would recommend going slightly out of your way to their East Davis or off-campus locations.

Best Subway I have been in. Nationwide. And I have eaten a lot of Subway. Same two guys seem to work 14 – 16 hours a day — every day. In 3 years of coming here — only saw them not there once. I have to assume for this to be legal that they are related to the owner and don’t make overtime pay. They remember people very well. They are fast, efficient, and seemingly intelligent. Being a sandwich artist seems a bit below where they could be career wise — but what do I know. Anyway — if you want Subway and you want it fast and Furious. This is the one for you. It sometimes takes me longer to park than it takes them to make me a sandwich.

This was the location I went to when I hadn’t eaten for a whole day. Two foot-long sandwiches for $ 9 — how can you go wrong? There are 2 guys who work here most of the time, and they are very efficient sandwich-makers. They are responsive to your directions, courteous, and prompt. My personal favorite sandwich is the over-roasted-chicken breast with provolone, on honey oat bread. I get it with loads of veggies, and dressed solely with vinegar. Why so healthy? Well my other foot-long was the meatball which has a full load of fat and saturated fat. Ultimately the two sandwiches create a complete meal. Parking is very cramped at this location. I advise avoiding this location for lunch, as there are only 5 spaces in the tiny lot outside.
