This location is meh. The workers rush you and are very stingy with the vegetables, probably one of the smallest sandwiches I’ve had from subway. My white chocolate macadamia cookie was the best part of my meal to say the least!

I never write negative reviews, but I felt obligated to do so about this Subway chain after the terrible service I received. I have no idea under what standards the current employees were hired from. They lack the basic manners and attitude an employee should have towards his or her customers. From the moment my friend and I walked in the store, we were«welcomed» with an annoyed expression from the workers. I’m not sure what they were mad or irritated about, but it seemed as if my friend and I were on the receiving end of that frustration. They had an apathetic attitude while making our sandwich and if we asked for more lettuce or any other condiment, they would literally roll their eyes and you can just feel lasers shooting from their eyes. Before we left I asked for a couple more napkins, and the male employee just responded«There’s one in there already» and when I asked«can I have one more» he apathetically tossed one to me. Honestly the only reason I would come here is if I am dying of hunger. Otherwise, I would not come here and have to tolerate the disrespect they give me. In conclusion, even giving them one star is being nice.

Theyre very rude people actually. The sandwich had like nothing in it. I was super disappointed.

That ain’t six inches. No way. Not only that, I could barely understand what they were trying to say to me. So I just nodded and said yes. Always a great idea right? Apparently I got charged for and had agreed to extra meat. I mean… they can’t just scoop off half of the meat anymore can they? Whatever. It is my fault for blindly saying yes. Either way, the service is subpar and confusing and Subway lies about their unfilling sandwiches. 2 cause that was just 2 little.

Terrible customer service, indian lady was impolite while making my sandwich, my friend and I went in around 9 Pm, they close at 10 and when I went to checkout she said«to go?» and I said«no for here» and she immediately looked at her coworker and rolled her eyes mad that we were eating there, my friend and I finished our sandwiches at about 9:30−35 and talked for a few minutes and the worker came over to us and asked us if we were leaving and stood next to our table then next to the door looking at us to signal us out, i’ve never had such rude customer service and won’t be coming back, the store didn’t close til 10 and at 9:40 they kicked us out, hope the corporate boss sees this and makes a change

Gone many times, only to find this branch of Subway to lower in quality every time. To start off, the female employee has terrible customer service skills. I attempt to be as patient as I can to her so she understood that I’m not rushing her but instead she was rushing me. This time I ordered for myself and for my girlfriend, they made our sandwiches a disaster. Mine was too cold and hers had an excess amount of mayonnaise. Honestly, I would rather have this branch closed down or have new staff that is pleasant to have customers rather than having the staff pushing around the customers.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Three people working there clearly hated their job and didn’t want to be there. Everyone was incredibly rude. The older woman who took my money, GRABBED the money from my hand, she literally yanked it from me. Ok this is really unacceptable. Another location was kind of like this too, but in downtown Davis. Quit the job if you hate it so much.

I honestly love subway and it hurts to day that this my expirence here has honestly put me off of ever getting it again up here. The customer service is down right terrible and sloppy. Not only did lady who served me just toss the ingredients onto my sub she in the most apathetic way throws it back into other trays, she doesn’t even bother to clean up after herself. The next dude that finishes your subs ended up ripping the bread in half and doesn’t even bother to wrap the sub properly. The cashier even lacks basic manners as he just tosses my debit card back at me along with my sub. Truly a disappointment and honestly pathetic

Great location at Umall with the convenience of other great restaurants and stores. Unfortunately, this place is not up to par with all the other stores around it. Rude, sloppy, and RUDE!!! The female staff was taking centuries with this other customer and when it came to us she just slopped on condiments that I didn’t even tell her to add. It was the sloppiest sandwich I have ever seen. When I opened it from the wrap I basically had to rearrange the sandwich myself because it wasn’t even closed! It was like a flat bread. Also. the entire time the cashier and her were making faces at the other worker in the front… Um… unprofessional much? The cashier was far the rudest I have seen, he was like FORHEREORTOGO, in the most bashful manner. They lack quality, professionalism, and are just sloppy with their jobs. Ever heard of a sandwich ruining your day? It did for me because as I was trying to fix the sandwich and the condiments+sauces got everywhere.

I came here to have lunch and seriously after i looked at my sandwich it was not even closed properly and stuff was half out with sauce… My hands got dirty while eating… I mean seriously after paying $ 7.29 for turkey sandwich … Next time i rather go to habbit or chipotle. Its ridiculous how bad they make the sandwiches.

Though I understand the complaints about the service, I think they’ve really stepped it up lately. I go maybe 1 a week for the past year and I’ve gotten to know workers. They’re all pretty nice once you talk to them. The older lady there can look rather irritated at times but my friend and I struck up a light conversation and she brightened up a lot more. Only real shame about this Subway is that they don’t have the garden patty…

I come here pretty often for lunch since it’s close to where I work and it’s cheap. Purchasing food at Scrubs can get expensive. Today, it’s Friday so no meat for me. I ordered a veggie delight and the lady making my sandwich was not very understanding with the vegetables. All the subway commercials always say make the sandwich the way you like it, as much veggies as you want. All my sandwich includes is veggies and some cheese and it still cost the same as a sandwich that contains meat. There not anymore cheese than a sandwich with meat. I was not very pleased and I feel like that employee need additional training.

This is Subway. And I can say that it is very similar to just about every Subway I’ve been to. Subway is a place you go to for a standard fast food sandwich. You can get turkey, ham, roast beef, salami, tuna, and other choices in combination with each other. It’s a good restaurant if you’re hungry and know what to expect. And most people know what to expect because there seems to always be a Subway around the corner in every town, city, and village in America. So it is what it is. The food doesn’t stand out and blow you away, but people can generally find something that they can enjoy eating on the menu. Today I tried one of their new menu items. And when I say new, I just mean that they found a way to use ingredients that they had before in a new way. Today I had the Flatizza. Yup, it’s exactly what it sounds like… it’s their flatbread used as a crust for a pizza-like item. When you order it, they just take some of their flat bread, spread tomato sauce on it, place toppings on it, and cover it with grated cheese. A little time in their oven and out pops a Flatizza. You can have your choice of pepperoni, spicy Italian, and plain cheese. Today there was a special going on where you could get two Flatizzas for under $ 6, so I tried the spicy Italian and the pepperoni. They both practically tasted the same. I actually couldn’t tell which one I was eating as I ate. The Flatizza tastes like each ingredient that you see on it. I mean, it’s ok, but if you’re craving pizza, this isn’t a great cheap solution for you in my opinion. The problem comes with the flatbread ‘crust’. It’s just way too soft. If it were crunchier or more crisp, that would have made a huge difference. But as they are, I would definitely say it is sub par. If you’re going to go to Subway, I’d stick to the sandwich or sandwiches you know(and love). The new Flatizzas can definitely be skipped over as other places have much better pizza offerings than this.

I walk in after a workout really needing to use the restroom after a long workout. This was the way my experience began at this subway. «bathrooms are for costumers only», says the automatically rude woman working there. «That is fine I have an order for my wife and myself, do you mind if I use the restroom first and then I will order?» I question very nicely. «Bathrooms for costumers only» repeated without expression. …wonderful service industry attitude. «Okay no worries» I say shrugging off the rude. I mean I don’t care people have bad days. «I will have an egg white flatbread sandwhich with ham». ” we only do breakfast sandwiches until 11″ the wonderful woman says to me, «I can do an egg white sandwhich» «So I can buy an egg white sandwhich, can I just add ham for extra charge?» I ask politely «No! breakfast sandwhiches stop at 11» said annoyed as if I am taking up her time. «Can I buy one egg white sandwhich and one Ham sandwhich?» I question. «Yes» she says still annoyed. «So they have eggwhite and ham and they can be sold separately in samdwhihes but together you cannot sell that to me because it is after 11. «at this point i am feeling a bit short. «Yes», again a one word answer. «Okay then, do you have another healthy option that I could purchase instead?» I say trying to be nice since I have worked in the service industry for a long time and I know people can be indignant for no reason. Her answer, «we can put vegetables on the sandwhich». In conclusion, they only get a one because you can’t do a zero. I will be driving to the Subway that is 2 miles away now instead of this one, because they have been rude every time I’ve gone in. So bye, learn some business tact, ill teach the course for free if the want. Thanks for reading my rant.

I am a fan of Subway. But only when they have super awesome $ 5 deals. If not then I never go, but they tend to usually always have super awesome deals. So I am a fan of subway. A sandwich is good for anytime of the day. Who doesn’t love a good sandwich? I highly reccomend the Subway Club.

Just like any other Subway, the sandwiches are as good as you can make ‘em. But the service here isn’t really that great. Not once have I experienced a friendly employee at this Subway. I try to avoid this place because every time I am frustrated with how the employees act towards me. But if you don’t really care and just want a great sandwich, then go for it.

This is one of the few times in my life where I actually REGRET not reacting and throwing a total bitch fit for the crappy service I received. I stopped by one morning, looking to order a sandwich for lunch later. The older lady that was helping us didn’t greet us. didn’t smile. and just basically took our order. I didn’t really care — this is Subway, I really don’t expect 5-star service here. The true wickedness of this lady came out when I asked that she wrap my footlong in halves. This is when the old lady began to cop an attitude. She began to act ALLLLLL annoyed, like her life was THAT much more miserable because a customer reasonably requested that she wrap a sandwich in halves(I do it ALL the time). She basically rang me up and then tossed my credit card back at me. Whatever, I thought, no bigs, it’s early. However, when my bf requested napkins(since she didn’t put any into the bag), she seriously threw ONE napkin at my boyfriend, with an obviously agitated expression on her face. I was SHOCKED, for real, did she just do that?! My bf asked for more. Her response was to slam ONE more napkin down and then walk to the back in a huff. No one is expecting the people who work at Subway to plaster exaggerated smiles on their faces or engage in overly-sweet chit chat. But her glaring attitude and rudeness was totally unwarranted, especially since(1) all my requests were made politely and(2) were normal everyday-type requests that I am sure anyone who works at Subway hears. I didn’t ask her to cut my sandwich into hearts or anything… geez, lady. Calm down, get another job, stop hating your life. And Subway, step your service up. I will most def not be returning to this Subway, there are so many in Davis, why support a franchise that so blatantly does not care one bit about their customers.

If you have $ 5 and really hungry, you cannot beat the $ 5 footlong at Subway. Most of the basic sandwiches taste the same to me(might be the yellow peppers and mustard) no matter what type of meat it is. Update: Currently they are having $ 26″ sandwiches(Coldcut Trio and Meatball Marinara) for the month of Dec 2012.
