These donuts are so freaking good… real donuts, not some gas station wannabes. We always hit this place up when visiting family and before heading out fishing or to the coast. Don’t expect a lot of frills, just fresh and delicious donuts. I always go for the old-fashioned cake, while the rest of the group generally goes for the glazed or sugar. Whatever your preference, you can’t go wrong.

Best maple bar I’ve ever tasted! Good customer service. And being vegetarian, I found out they have a tofu sandwich and it tasted amazing. Definitely recommend!

this is my favorite donut spot in davis. mr hank is friendly and he gives me a good deal if i clear him out at the end of the day. great place to take my kids on a daddy date. i’ve had the vietnamese sandwich once and it was decent. they have wifi, but it’s dangerous for me to be in there too long. i go mainly for the donuts. you’ll find all the classics(glazed, cake, buttermilk…) but they also have fancier things… croissants, bear claws, cinnamon rolls. the drink options are numerous with some asian options mixed in there. i have to limit myself to coming only twice a month… usually.

Hidden gem!!! I really like this donut shop. Unlike other places, they always have donuts even later on in the afternoon. They have a nice selection and their donuts really taste great! Good prices too :)

Delicious donuts. My Grandma has lived in Davis for 40 years, when we asked where to grab donuts Fluffy was the only place suggested. Apple fritter was crispy on the outside and tender/moist on the inside. Also got a huge maple bar, cinnamon roll type donut and a cake donut with pink frosting and sprinkles. Everything was yummy, next time we are in town we’ll grab donuts from Fluffy.

I can’t believe it took me a year and a half to try out this place. It’s so conveniently located by UMall but I just always forget about it since it’s around the corner. I ordered a BBQ Pork sandwich, Vietnamese coffee, and a sprinkled donut in the morning. Sandwich was alright — probably will try something different next time though, because I didn’t like the pork very much. I’m not a frequent coffee drinker so I don’t have the palate to say what’s good or not, but I enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee here a lot! Would definitely recommend it! And the sprinkled donut was just a sprinkled donut, no surprises there, and it was a pretty good donut. The total cost was just around $ 8.50! I was honestly expecting it to be more expensive for everything I got, so that was a pleasant surprise. The place isn’t too crowded in the morning compared to Starbucks. The man behind the counter was nice. The food and drink were yummy and cheap. I am definitely coming here more often!

Before the days of Safeway donuts… The courtesy dozen for the lab/office crew probably came from here. The number of times I’ve visited this place would be astronomical because Fluffy Donuts pre-dates Unilocal. Super solid donuts. Haven’t had, well, anything else here.

I’ve been trying to find a substitute for this donut shop ever since moving back home but no luck so far!!! Yeast donuts and cake donuts here are the best. The glazing is not too sweet/just perfect as is the consistency of the glazing. The yeast donuts are just perfect, not dry at all. I used to hate cake donuts until I had them here. The cake donuts are soft and moist. You can’t go wrong with the donuts they offer here, HOWEVER, I wasn’t a big fan of the cronut they later added to their menu. I thought it was too dry and just OK.

You can’t go wrong with donuts! The place is like most old donut shops. The owner is very nice. Prices are wonderful. Free weefee. Bathroom is located outside the building and need keys to enter. Décor isn’t great but the donuts are and that’s all that really matters

Donuts are good, but you better come early to get all the choices available. The sandwiches can be very different depending on who’s making them. Again, I’d recommend coming early when the Dad is behind the counter. I had a different person making my banh mi this afternoon… what kind of banh mi has no cilantro, pickled carrots and daikon, and is bathed in sriracha? The tuna salad sandwich with«the works» was also half-heartedly made without the presence of black olives green peppers, onion, cucumbers, and pickles as we usually get.

Donuts were good, They run out very quickly and don’t restock… once they are done… they are done. They do make sure that you’re taken care of and that you get your money’s worth. Thank you Fluffy Donut

Stopped into Fluffy Donut with my roommate to satisfy a craving. We decided to go halvsies on a dozen after the man behind the counter told us they were out of donut holes. So we asked for a dozen and rather than waiting on us to choose donuts, the man instead started putting random donuts into the box. Thankfully, my roommate stopped him and asked if she could choose which donuts to put in. He said yes, but didn’t bother to remove the ones he’d picked for us. Also, the entire time my roommate was choosing, he kept interrupting her to suggest different kinds. At one point he even said he was«just trying to speed the process.» All in all, we ended up getting to choose about 7 or 8 of the donuts and the remaining ones were random picks of his. After boxing our donuts, he gave us our total and my roommate got out her card to pay. He asked if we had cash, and sadly we didn’t. Thankfully he let us pay with a card, though! Overall, I was pleased with the donuts themselves but not impressed by the service. I understand that the shop was busy, but I didn’t really appreciate being rushed, because I am also a paying customer! So I’d say, yes, go for a donut if you’re craving one! But prepare to be rushed through the process of choosing and paying for it. :(

I love fluffys! The simplest things such as a donut can make or break my day. I usually order an old tradition and donut holes and they’re usually good. Their donuts are pretty cheap for us college students. For some reason, I prefer this place over Yum Yum donuts because their donuts are really fluffy and soft. I’d recommend their ham and cheese croissant(toasted) too because they’re bang for your buck for breakfast. The old guy is really nice! He’s really friendly and sometimes he’ll joke around with you and your friends like«oh it’s finals week huh, that’s why everyone is getting donuts». He tries to brighten your day with a little humor here and there and it’s adorable. Free wifi and old school booths makes a nice place to study whenever finals are around. Also, bring cash because he didn’t seem too happy charging a debit card for $ 2 – 3. Overall, I always crave Fluffys after eating them and it lives up to its restaurant name.

Great selection of donuts at a great price. Conveniently located by the intersection of Russell and Anderson. It’s so close to campus, though most college kids don’t eat breakfast. They offer donut holes and whole donuts at really good prices. If you’re there on a Sunday morning, check out the Chinese church across the street. In addition to donuts, they make Vietnamese sandwiches, coffee, and other assorted beverages.

So I’m not a fan of their Banh Mi(Vietnamese sandwich) straight up. But, their Thai Tea is AMAZING! The man didn’t even skimp on the half and half, that’s what I was really happy about. I love my Thai Tea on the sweet side not on the bitter side. It was definitely sweet with a kick, just a tiny pinch of bitter and it was perfect. And their donuts look really tempting so I’m coming back. P. S. Cash or debit only! - For the pork sandwich it however, I prefer it over Ginger Star, although maybe some say Ginger Star is better, but here they have the actual ingredients down, it just didn’t taste right still. It wasn’t bad, but maybe if you’re someone who grew up with Viet food, you’ll like it. - But yeah, he didn’t talk much, but the guy who ran shop is nice. I’ll be back!!! for your Thai Tea(really hits the spot) and to try donuts, they look so flufffy!

There’s almost a magnetic force pulling and urging me in whenever I pass by this place, but my inner health nut has so far been successful in thwarting my subconscious attempts to get at dem donuts. It’s pretty frustrating. But sometimes it’s just so hard to resist, especially when all my willpower seems diminished by the struggles of daily life, and yunno sometimes a girl just REALLY needs dem donuts. So I caved in, and stopped by the other day with my boyfriend who was craving a jelly filled donut, and we grabbed a couple of raspberry filled glazed donuts and an old fashioned one as well. It was SO yummy. This place really does live up to its name because dem donuts were fluffy and amazaaang. I almost wanted to echo the words of Agnes from Despicable Me: IT’S SOFLUFFAY I’M GONNADIEEEE. But forreal though you could tell their stuff is fresh. Service is quick too, and the workers are kind and attentive. Plenty of space to eat inside, and their prices are super reasonable(it’s almost like they know we’re broke college kids or something). They also have Bánh mìs and milk teas. Yay for variety! Moral of the story: It’s okay to tell the health conscious voice inside your head to take a vacation sometimes. Make an opportunity to go Fluffy Donuts, and treat yourself to their wonderful selection of donuts.

Admittedly, I am somewhat of a «health nut,» even excessively so by the standards of some, but my willpower and desire to be healthy from the inside out crumbles to pieces when presented with a donut from Fluffy. F*** me, right? Fluffiest, softest, most delicious donuts ever. I recommend the maple bar, or anything jelly-filled. The bf swears by their apple fritter. Luckily, I don’t live in Davis(anymore).
