Amazing Tans

Let me start off by saying they give false information. I was told I can change my membership I just couldn’t cancel it. I went in today to change my membership and the girl working, Jamie, was very rude and informed me I can not make the change unless I do an upgrade. I informed her that was not what I was told and she got a very big attitude and said that is not true. I do not recommend this place. They do not care about the customers and will lie if it means you sign a membership.

Before I started working for another tanning salon, this is where I would tan. I absolutely loved the girls there. They were so friendly and always helped and answered questions. If they were a little more affordable, I’d give them 5 stars. If I didn’t get to tan at my current salon, I’d return to Amazing Tans in Davis!

A little pricier than your average tanning place but offers great deals for members on Tuesdays at the beginning of each season and on their anniversary in December each year. The employees have always been extremely friendly, but the owner is extremely strict when it comes to payments and regardless of if you use beds not for months on end you will be required to pay. The missing star is not for this however. It is only for one specific time that I went. This place has always been very clean and professional but an employee was unprofessional with me and there was lotion spilled on the floor the bed felt greasy and a lot of trash was left unemptied in the can. Again every time besides this one that I have went this place is immaculate! The trash is always dumped there is no residue or anything on the floor and the bed is wiped spotless. I actually have not seen this employees since.
The ambience is very nice and there are pioneer speakers in each bed and a radio you can hook up and MP3 player to or put CDs in. Everything is dimly lit and very relaxing. The only thing I could wish more for is a mirror in each room. I had one at pure tan in Hanford California and its really helpful, not only for putting on teeth whitening and lotion but also to see your progress!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes personal tanning with great customer service and comfortable atmosphere it is on the top of my list for the area for self pamper.
