The Dairy Queen store on Shroyer near Oakwood a less than ideal store to ever attend. Since the Drive thru was back up to the street entrance I decided to park and walk up to the window. After pressing the bell to get service one person looked at me and then turned away. The drive thru customers all received there orders before I received mine and that was 4 cars before the ordering speaker. The employee that gave me my 2 blizzards didn’t offer a carrier or napkins. Since I walk with a can it tried to balance them one on top of the other but that can’t work unless you get a lid.(not offered either) So once a mess was made all over my cane and hands I ended up threwing the 2 blizzards away. This was a $ 6 important lesson on not going to that store ever again

The pumpkin pie blizzard is a great way to bring in the fall weather! Just wish this place stayed open year round!

RIP big beautiful oak tree that was formerly in front of Dairy Queen. How did it die, you wonder? Dairy Queen decided to chop it down to a stump and sculpt it into a big wooden ice cream cone. This one is just a drive thru and a walk up window, with a couple of picnic tables out front. This is just your average soft serve DQ, with the same hot eats and cool treats. And, they treat you right, unless you are a tree.
