Pinot’s Palette

Picasso I am definitely not but the girls that run the show here sure made me feel like it. They were awesome! My mom and I had a girls night together and one look at the painting that we were about to create left us quaking in our boots. We were majorly intimidated… but ya know what? We did it and we did it well. Carlee was an amazing teacher! She was patient and kind and really made us feel good about our work. She was like a kindergarten teacher… but one that serves wine!
They have a fabulous selection of paintings to choose from on their calendar and they have classes multiple times per week. The girls were really laid back and flexible and made us feel right at home. Now why the one star deduction you ask? Both of us felt rushed. I appreciated that they kept us on schedule but there was a little bit of detail I wanted to add and I felt like it wasn’t really encouraged. For this reason I would skip the 10 minute break. Press on and let people potty on their own.
I am going to strong arm my husband into going for date night. I think it is an awesome place with wonderful employees and wine to boot! I highly recommend taking some time to paint!
