We came here last week to celebrate a special occasion. We started off with crafted old fashions and these drinks were in my top 2 all time old fashions! Dinner started with bread and a garlic butter. We got the Crab Cake with Sriracha Aioli for an appetizer. Every bite was delicious. It’s a fairly small portion but okay for two people. I would definitely recommend this item. For our main entrée I got the Butter Crusted Atlantic Cod and my boyfriend got the 3 Peppercorn Crusted NY Strip. AMAZING. I savored every bite. Dessert was a berry crème brûlée. Highly highly recommend this restaurant for the food and atmosphere.(The ceiling is covered in doors, how neat!)

It was our first experience at this up scale place. It was okay, nothing special. We had 6 yummy oysters, a wonderfully flavorful crab cake, egg burger, and new York steak. It was a good experience, but our burger and steak were rather salty… It really undermined the our dinner. Well cooked, well presented, but really salty. Good service, nice atmosphere, slow food output. Bill for a dinner for two 85 bucks not including tips.

My husband & I went there for the first time as a recommendation from someone who works in the area. We were VERY pleased with this restaurant! Had oysters on the halfshell & a really nice cheese plate as apps. Oysters were super fresh & flavorful, cheeselpate was a little basic but still very good. Their Mixologist is excellent! My hubby had an Old Fashioned but with a bit of a twist as the base liquor was Tequila; sounds odd but it was soooo tasty. We ordered a filet & Mushroom Ravioli with a truffle Alfredo. Again, excellent! Atmosphere is fun, the ceiling is made with all wooden doors the owner acquired in Door County. Just had a great time all around! If you’re in the area make sure to make a reservation early so you don’t miss out.

First trip to Bleu last night for dinner with friends. Definitely will be going back again. Everything was delicious, nicely presented and the waitstaff was very patient, knowledgable and friendly. I had the chicken piccata, my hubby had the salmon. Both amazing flavors and done just right. The fresh vegetables served as a side were beyond tasty well seasoned and tasted like they were just picked. Good wine list and the Moscow Mule was great! I think we’ve found a new favorite place. Four stars instead of five just because it is noisy – unavoidable in the old house atmosphere, high ceilings, etc.

Very enjoyable dinner spot. Closer to our house than Chives on the west side. Menu is varied every time we come in as well. Cocktails are pricey but pretty good overall. The staff here is very friendly and service is good, food can take awhile however they push hard to get things out as fast as possible with the small kitchen. A must visit for locals and visitors!

What an awesome restaurant and an equally awesome staff. We popped in for lunch and our expectations were exceeded on every level. We travel for a living and are very tired of bar food. Bleu does food that feels traditional, but with new variations that are clever and work with the dish without transforming it into something unrecognizable. Bleu is easy. It’s not a difficult place to dine. The menu is balanced and not cluttered with twenty burgers. A Well planned out beer and wine list and a substantial stock of spirits mean everyone should find their favorite drink. The interior space is gorgeous and it’s nice to be somewhere surrounded by peaceful landscape and not wedged into a downtown with every bar and wing joint. There are no TV’s which makes Bleu feel like a place for grown ups.

This is always a fun place for lunch or dinner. I love the fried calamari. Generally, the service is good and attentive. They have a nice wine selection. The menu features appetizers, small, medium and large plates, depending on the size of your appetite. Everything I have tried is well prepared and looked appetizing on the plate. Recommended for casual dining.

Went here last night for dinner and I got the sliders and my boyfriend got the sunny side up burger. Huge portion for being a «medium» plate for only $ 14 – 15. Gave out a basket of bread right in the beginning that came with delicious butter. The decorations and atmosphere was beautiful, I loved all the light fixtures. Jenna was our server and she was attentive but not annoying. I wish I would’ve had room for dessert

Came here for my bday dinner last Friday. We had reservations for 7 and table was setup and ready when we arrived. Service was on point. We had cheese/meat tray, calamari, & clams for appetizers. Everything was very good. Main courses(filet, marlin, chicken piccata) were all top notch too, except for my peppercorn crusted ny strip wasn’t to my liking. Tasted someone else’s filet though and it was 10⁄10. Will definitely be back and getting the filet next time.

Clearly a top tier restaurant in NE Wisconsin. We’ve had just about everything on the menu… nothing disappoints. Have out of town guests? Take them here. The quality of food; the cocktails; and wait staff are equal to the best in Milwaukee or Chicago. Get a table by the grill for an entertainment bonus watching the chefs perform an orchestral culinary ballet w/o colliding in a very compact cooking /prep area.

Classy & relaxing. I’ve visited during the day with a gaggle of gal-pals, by myself for a cocktail(s) and on what turned out to be a great date. Bleu has never missed. Crab cakes, the cheese platter, the scallops, the bacon wrapped figs(dear lord, so good) were hits with my crowd. The atmosphere generally has a happy buzz at night and is beautifully relaxing during the day. Whoever pulled off the great mix of modern & rustic furnishings earns a win.

This place is 3 blocks from my home and I drive by it every day yet had never come in for a meal. August is an interesting time to stop by Bleu with Packer camp going just across the river at St. Norb’s. Brushes with fame at dinner time. We finally came in for an early supper on a weekday. My wife had the Caesar salad and I had the cold roasted root veg salad. Great textures and combinations of sweet, sour and bitter that makes food interesting. Waitress was very helpful letting us know the freshest options for the day. In season vegetables are excellent and my ribeye was excellent – seared like the fires of hell on the outside, soft, pink and juicy. You could cut it with a fork. She enjoyed her duck. Drink menu is extensive and includes several non-alcohol items of interest. Place is pricey as you would expect for a restaurant with high quality food like this. I hope they decide to invest in sturdier chairs. I like the rustic type of décor but when your chair feels like the legs may collapse at any moment it is harder to justify paying this kind of money. Old mismatched furniture is in fashion, but crappy mismatched furniture just sucks. Go to some yard sales and upgrade your chairs. I still give Bleu my 5 stars. A crappy chair has no effect on the rating unless it actually does collapse. I’ve been to other area feeding stations I like just as well, but Bleu is definitely top three for me.

Had a lovely dinner here while in Green Bay for work. Very cool atmosphere, professional staff, and delicious food. The salmon was perfectly cooked. The specialty salad of heirloom tomatoes and peaches sounded amazing, but the produce failed to deliver. That said, this place had the best crab cake I’ve ever had and the arugula salad was to die for. Truly, I’ve never eaten a better arugula leaf!

Good service. Great food. Amazing drinks. For the quality of the food the price isnt bad. The open kitchen is a cool feature. Has a fine dining feel to it so if your a picky eater, it isnt the easiest thing to deal with when looking at the relatively small menu. If thats not the case, i haven’t had one thing on the menu id give less than a 7⁄10.

Hidden gem in Wisconsin. The best meal I had all week! Service is outstanding. Décor makes it feel like home with a rustic feel. Their cheese platter is a must order. Local cheeses are accompanied by olives, nuts, dried fruit, and oh the honey! Perfectly paired for each cheese type. Also had the scallops with parsnip purée and sautéed spinach and bacon. Scallops were jumbo size, perfectly cooked, and seared. Finally, their home baked bread basket was such a treat and complimentary! You must order their Bleu fries, their specialty of fries sprinkled with Parmesan and herbs. I will come here again!

The décor is immediately inviting– a reclaimed granary with gorgeous wood floors and suspended doors for a ceiling. The kitchen is exposed– so there’s an intimacy between those preparing your food and those eating it. Wait staff is attentive, friendly, helpful. Food can be great, bordering on amazing. It can also be surprisingly not. A ribeye with gnocchi was sublime. In fact, I’ve never eaten better ribeye, gnocchi, or even broccolini in my life! But scallops were served in a soupy casserole of puréed parsnips, which was odd. So– ask lots of questions about the menu when you go as to how things are prepared. I never guessed in a million years that the scallops would be IN the parsnips. I will go back– eating that ribeye and the dessert gives me hope there are lots of great food discoveries to be made there. But be aware that there will be experiments. Ask questions if you want to be assured of a sublime experience.

Bleu is the type of establishment you might find in the hip food neighborhoods of Milwaukee — It’s a beautiful space, reclaimed wood, vintage lighting. A great place for a date. The menu is inspiring and what comes out of the kitchen delivers on flavors. The bacon wrapped figs are delicious. Savory and sweet intertwined. I had the scallops– which were creamy and sweet. They have a nice list of craft cocktails. I had the smokey margarita. I would suggest it– there is just a hint of smoke. Another winner is their caramel carrot cake. Nice twist on a classic.

Uniquely designed décor matched well with the outstanding and beautifully prepared food! Overall, the floor plan does a great job showing off the classy yet laid-back environment. Make sure to look up and see the doors lining the ceiling and the clawfoot tables. We chose our first experience at Bleu to be on a Saturday afternoon. There were only 3 other tables that were occupied and we were able to choose the table we sat at so we weren’t sat directly next to another table in a mostly empty restaurant which was really nice. One of the options available for lunch is the $ 14 two course and $ 16 three course meal, we chose options off the smaller, medium and bigger menu instead. I had the lobster bisque, roasted root vegetable salad and the crab cake. My friend had the soup of the day(chicken and wild rice soup), the baby berg wedge salad and the medjool dates. Each course was better than the one before and was expertly prepared and creatively presented! I would highly recommend any of these options to anyone! $ 9 is usually more than what I would pay for a martini in this area but the albino peach cosmo was outstanding! There were a few times our server was absent when we were looking for her to come around so my only hope would be for someone more attentive next time but otherwise she was friendly and our order was correct, and delivered in a timely manner. Can’t wait to come back, there were so many other things on the menu that looked fantastic!

Look at the ceiling. Food is coming. Standby… The food was awesome and the service exceptional(and vice versa) We wanted to come back but we were visiting from out of town and did not have time to return. Will definitely come back when visiting Green Bay again.
