McDonald’s

I concur with a lot of the previous reviews.
They often kind of close when they feel like it… not based on the schedule.
However, my last experience gave a glimmer of hope. Bad news first-​the ice cream was broken (coincidentally before close time as is almost always the case).
Good news-​the staff was actually pleasant. Still a long way to go, but progress nonetheless.

12-​16-​2015: They do not know how to use Apple Pay; they do not know that they have Apple Pay; they can’t get the unit off the wall (until someone does it for them); the unit is broken; and I can’t lean to you with the unit. These are the many excuses that I have run into with ApplePay. The blue and white stickers on the glass mean nothing.

This is the worst McDonald’s in America.
Sunday, 18 October 2015, 12:30 PM, drive through. Sing says «All Day Breakfast» another says «2 Egg McMuffins $ 3». Waited 10-​minutes in the drive-​thru line, Way Too Long. Asked for the fruit maple oatmeal; response we are out of that. Asked for the 2 McMuffins for $ 3; response we don’t serve that after breakfast time; OK. Asked for another breakfast item; response, we only serve biscuits for the extended breakfast. Of course it was not as simple as I have written as I asked after each request if breakfast was being served and what was available. It appears that they where hiding the fact that ALL BREAKFAST ITEMS, except biscuits where not being offered.
I wheeled out of line and preceded to another location. This truly is the WIRLD’S WORST MCDONALD’S that I have ever visited. My problem is they occupy a location that is most convent to me.
THE MCDONALD’S ALL DAY BREAKFAST IS A FALSE STATEMENT IN DECATUR, GA.
PS: Their bathroom stinks and is visibly dirty.

RETURN VISIT 11-​4-​2015 1235-​hours:
— Waited in drive through line 11-​minutes.
— Tell did not know what Apple Pay was, but managed to walk him through the routine.
— As usual told me that they ha «All Day Breakfast». Ordered oatmeal and other items. YEA! THEY ACTUALLY SERVED BREAKFAST ITEMS AT LUNCH. GREAT.

I’m really disappointed with this establishment, especially considering the area that it’s in. For the last couple of weeks I’ve had nothing but disappointments when coming here. This morning was the straw that broke the camels back. Pull up in drive thru, lady comes on the intercom to inform you that they have no biscuits, order anything else off the menu but no biscuits. So I ordered something else instead of what I passed 3 other McDonald’s for on my way to work. I get to the pick up window, only to have to wait an additional 10 minutes for a frappé. The young one that came to the window, answered me as if I interrupted his morning! No apologies for me having to wait for my paid order of breakfast. Needless to say I will not be returning to this place. I urge you to use caution as well.

Zero stars! Terrible service and food! They have no interest in customer service. And the food doesn’t even taste right; drinks taste watered down. And it’s filthy inside. What the hell! The manager shows no interest in resolving customer complaints. Stay away from this one. There’s another one up the street off Clairemont and n decatur; much better.

Inconsistent food quality and employees that seem to have no interest in customer service. One of the worst McDonald’s in the country.
Twice now I’ve gone by the drive through 10+ minutes before closing time only to be told they are closed.

First time I ever walked out of a fast food place because we were totally ignored. An employee walked to a register and then walked away… basically ignoring us again. Luckily Chick-​Fil-​A was around the corner.

Expectations are low anyway but this is the worst McDonald’s ever! Filthy and bad food.

Bad. Bad service. Bad food and drinks. They forget your order after they make you wait in the reserved drive thru space for 15 min. When you finally go in to ask for it, they give you the wrong thing and you have to go in again! The soda line makes all drinks taste like a suicide drink. That machine must need some serious cleaning. Yuck!

This McDonald’s use to be the worlds slowest. However I have found their service has made a 180.

It’s open all night and doesn’t mind a crowd walking through their drivethru when the doors are closed for the night.
2am fries are a good snack for the staggering walk home!
Updated: I’ve seen a poor trend in the past few months at this McDs — slow service, and that’s meant two ways: workers who don’t know or care to learn what McDs even serves (one didn’t know they had smoothies, another didn’t know that they had honey as a sauce), and a drive-​thru that takes 5 – 10 minutes per order which is about 5 times the acceptable average for McD’s franchise rules.
