I love Chipotle and typically find their staff great. However this location, seems to be rotating new staff in every week and they can’t or don’t listen to orders well and constantly forget the salad dressing. It’s a frustrating ordering experience if you’re used to other locations.

I used to ride past this location all the time and wonder what Chipotle was before it became popular demand. Nice location across from Murder Kroger, or as they like to now call it, BeltLine Kroger. Very small parking lot. So be careful not to scrape your or anyone else’s car while parking. And they keep a close eye so you WILL be towed if you try to park and dash to another store or venue in the area. Although the parking lot is smaller, there’s more room than there appears to be on the inside. I believe his is one of the older Atlanta locations, and you can tell because of the setup. But the location is very well kept.

The most disappointing Chipotle I’ve visited. The chicken was served cold and the side of salsa I asked for was an additional charge. I complained that since I ordered chips that I should not be charged for one cup of salsa for 0.90 cents. «It’s like charging for catchup after buying French fries», I said to the manager. The manager Sean said he could see my point and gave me two sides with my chips. Also I asked for a little more chicken with my chicken burrito and the employee said there would be a double charge for that. I never seen a fast food restaurant penny pinch like this in my travels. Maybe too many people take advantage of extra helpings in this neighbor of Decatur Georgia and it’s their way of controlling costs, but they make the customer feel most unwelcome. They also play the music a little to loud I believe so people don’t stay to long in the restaurant. Is this the new style of management after the nation wide Chipolte health problems. Also, during the 45 minutes I was here at the restaurant the grill was never used. It’s 7pm Saturday night and it’s not very busy. Now I know why the chicken was cold and why I will never visit this restaurant again.

Fast, friendly service even if there’s a long lunch line. TONS of easy, free parking… which is super rare in Decatur. Fresh, healthy, reasonably priced food. You get quantity and quality here.

This is a typical Chipotle. Burritos, bowls, tacos and awesome guacamole(that now costs $ 2 because avocados are apparently crazy expensive). There usually is a line that moves pretty fast. I’m a fan of the sofritas which is their new-ish vegetarian protein option. If you don’t do tofu, this won’t be your thing. The way they prepare the sofritas gives it a smoky flavor. It may contain cumin which I think imparts a really smoky flavor. If you are vegetarian or vegan, give this a try. A huge plus for this Chipotle: there is ample parking. Parking can be dicey at the Emory location and especially at the Ponce location so if downtown Decatur isn’t too far away, I would definitely come here as opposed to the other locations.

I really like getting the burrito bowl from Chipotle when I’m occasionally tired of cooking dinner at home. The fact that this location is so close to us was a plus… until we went. The place was super busy on a weeknight, and even though we called in our order ahead of time, it was no where near ready when I went to pick it up. I had to sit down at a table and wait for over 15 minutes to get it. Shame on me for not checking the bag before getting home, because ½ our order was missing. No chips, no guacamole, no corn salsa, and my son’s order was missing. I drove back, showed my receipt, and was told that unfortunately they were OUT of chips. How does a place that has the word CHIP in their name run out of chips? They said they would replace it with something else. Without chips, no thanks. Guacamole was lonely, so on my burrito bowl it went. They also handed me a cup of corn, not the corn salsa I ordered. And they were out of milk for my son’s order. It’s an understatement to say that we were disappointed. This place just doesn’t have their %$&* together. I’d rather drive to the one on Toco Hills than brave this one again. Nope.

The place is typically very clean. All of the employees have been super nice to us — I honestly cannot say anything bad about any of their employees. They even ask where the missus is when I come in solo. My biggest problem is how often they run out of ingredients. How does a Chipotle run out of guacamole? They’ve run out of lettuce — just run by Kroger and pick some up! Hell, pick up some avocados while you’re there. They’ve also run out of corn. All instances well before closing. This is unacceptable when your menu consists of 8 toppings. The place seems run by a bunch of kids who don’t know how to manage. I’ve never seen anyone there who acts like they’re in a leadership role. If the management can get it together and keep ingredients in the store, then I’ll bump up the score.

Excellent patio near Decatur Square … Great walking distance to several spots in the area. $ 7 Patron margaritas and $ 4.5 Sauza margaritas — shaken Great way to grab cheap drinks and reasonably priced fresh food

Simple and delicious food fast. Parking is very easy and actually today parking was deterrent for us to dine there. Line can be long during lunch time but it moves fast. Great place for lunch and adaptable for any diet. Love it.

The food here is great, but the service is comically bad compared to the plethora of other chipotles I’ve gone to. Frequently the staff has wandered off, which is frustrating because it’s the closest chipotle to me.

I know this is weird coming from someone who hates chains generally… But I love Chipotle! I’m In so glad there’s this location now 10 minutes from my home. Yay! I can come here by myself for lunch since the hubs isn’t much of a fan(spoiled by real Mexican food in California…)

I hate to write a bad review but it’s a must! I went to the Decatur Chipotle yesterday with my «1year old!!!» and we ordered the chicken bowl to split. A few bites in I spit out something grizzly, but figured it was chicken skin or grizzle. Then another bite right after that of the same thing. I looked more closely at it and it was straight up RAW chicken. Not at all cooked, pink and white and all. Two big pieces. In disbelief I brought it up front to the counter. There was another guy waiting up there too and he informed me he found raw chicken in his Bowl too! NOTOK! I understand that sometimes meat isn’t cooked all the way through, which is unfortunate but it happens. This was clear neglect and stupidity! I’m so thankful my son hadn’t eaten any of it. I reported them to the Health Department. As I have told my friends what happened they all had a story to tell about Chipotle. So unfortunate because unfortunately it’s the closest thing in Atlanta to Cali Fresh Mex.

This just became my go-to Chipotle in town. You’re almost comparing apples to oranges when it comes to this location and the one on Ponce. First, this one has it’s own parking lot where there are typically spaces for all. Huge plus. Also, avoiding a disastrous parking cluster is always a good thing. This location also has a nice patio in the front. That’s all. Same burritos, bowls, familiar pricing, etc.

So glad this location is within a few short miles of my house. Nice staff. They even fixed my good with a smile when I walked in at 9:56pm-moments before they closed for the night.

GETITWHILEIT’S STILLGOODPEOPLE! Brand new Chipotle in downtown Decatur! It’s super clean and shiny, overstaffed, and still on the learning curve. I swung by the new location after driving by it a million times and for some reason, STILL going to the one across from murder Kroger on the other end of Ponce. That location is the hottest Chipotle in town– complete with necessary off street parking, and a staff that hates you– or couldn’t care less. If you’ve been, you know what I mean! The new Decatur location seems to be staffed almost entirely by college students. I would say all from Agnes Scott but there were a few dudes thrown in. One girl working the register even had her mom and little sister show up(sporting their own Agnes swag) to idk, congratulate her on the new job or something? Either way, it was cute, and she played it cool. But anyways– these kids are way too nice. And they give outrageously large helpings of everything. I give it six months before the manager has the talk with the team– the«start spooning out smaller servings of everything» talk. It’s inevitable, which is why I’m saying, get on this now, while the burritos are still huge and less than $ 7. The staff also doesn’t quite yet know how to run a smooth operation– that’s ok though, once business picks up they’ll have no choice. When I went in there was a girl making the tortillas(Chipotle also never quite steams them enough, so they don’t wrap up as well as Moe’s), a girl putting all the toppings together, one guy putting the finished product in either a bag or a basket, and one girl ringing it all up. I could be sexist here(or just have food industry experience), but I feel like the bag/basket-guy’s job was self-appointed. Mis-allocation of resources and they still messed some stuff up. Homegirl couldn’t roll up the burrito… she basically just gave up and passed it along to the guy with no real job, and register girl charged me for a drink I didn’t ask for. I know they’re still working out the kinks, so I’m cool with it all. Overall I like the vibe and layout of the new place, small but cozy, and need I say again? The burritos are huge!

It’s a Chipotle, it’s in Decatur behind the bank, next to Ccok’s Warehouse. I like it. Cheap, pseudo Mexican food. Although I would imagine that most people here in Decatur will get a «bowl». Carbs might kill you, if you don’t get hit by a car first. Apparently you can also get a margarita. Not a bad deal, especially if you’re on jury duty and trying to make it more interesting.
