Be advised, this McDonald’s is now permanently closed. The sign on the door directs customers to the store on Dundee Rd. in Wheeling.
I’m not sure why it took so long for this store to close. It was a horrible example of the brand.
Good riddance!

Nice people here but they are the SLOWEST when it comes to their drive though. Honestly your a fast food place get it together especially morning rush

I’ve gone through their drive thru three times and every time the order has been wrong. They charge extra for everything. Even if you ask for extra ketchup packets. The parking lot is poorly maintained with lots of potholes. The drive thru sign is in poor shape. Time to get better employees and update the restaurant. Worst McDonald’s restaurant anywhere

Worst service ever made me wait 7minutes for a McChicken sandwich worst McDonald I ever stopped inn won’t be going there again the guy told me the McChicken is cooking Mcdonalds don’t cook they warm up
When I got home there was no mayonnaise on the sandwich thank you for a franchise that has such good fast food service and don’t put condiments on the sandwiches

Bad customer service. Today is 11−29−14 the manager at this McDonald’s was very rude. Very unprofessional. I addressed my concern to other workers who seemed to be afraid from him.

OK, rarely is there much variation in food at a McDonald’s, so review-​wise, it comes down to service.
My visit to this store was mixed — the employees were very polite and pleasant — thumbs up big time on that. But it took 13 minutes to get two double cheeseburgers going through the drive up and that is a little long. So overall, I have to give it 3 stars.

Best hot fudge ever!

Wow. Normally a McDonald’s does not have such a wide range of reviews. The entire company and franchises are standardized, scrutinized, and secretly shopped to ensure every store meets a certain standard. Thus I look with a somewhat jaundiced eye at prior reviews. We regularly visit this location and have never had any issue with any drive-​through order. They are courteous, prompt, and accurate. Surely, there are times when I wish my coffee had more cream, or my soda had less ice. But it is hardly the restaurant’s problem. I suppose were we to get the wrong thing in the drive-​through, we’d pull over and head inside to get what we’d ordered.

This has got to be one of the worst McDonald’s restaurants in the country. They consistently screw up orders in the drive-​thru. The last time I went I ordered a chicken CBO meal and I got some horrible blt thing. I emailed a complaint on the McDonald’s website and got a canned apology. I replied that I felt that wasn’t good enough since I didn’t get what I paid for and then got a canned apology emailed from the store manager. I can’t believe they didn’t offer to give me the meal I actually paid for. I will never go to this restaurant again.

Typical. Nice eating area. Nice, if you can find a open table. The place is half full of Canasta players during lunch. I don’t understand why the mgr would want all these folks taking parking and seating during lunch! I asked and learned they play 5 days a week. I don’t see them eating much and even saw one lady go to Panera and bring her lunch in to eat.

It’s my opinion that the previous reviewers were just posting to see how many posts they can make. They’ve obviously never been to the Deerfield McDonalds.
I’ve been coming to the Deerfield location for almost 20 years and it’s always been clean, consistant tasting food, and very courteous service. I just witnessed an employee checking the dining room and took the time to observe and help a struggling patron with their drink at the self-​serve. This Deerfield McDonalds is consistantly one of the top stores in the country.

Can anyone answer the phone and if so can you answer a few basic questions. Like, closest intersection ?, large or smaller seating area? store hours? Like pulling teeth, this is a on the fly review if you haven’t noticed already. Also, could the drive thru guy actually pay attention to what’s going into the bag? The kid which gets this happy meal is going to wonder if I ransacked his bag. The burger wasn’t wrapped it was flung into the bag with a wrapper and he forgot to give me the soda! I sat and waited for him to give it and he walked to the back, he was gone 2 minutes, still I already have the funky food, I just needed the soda. No apology for forgetting either, I realize they are on a timer which is great but maybe they need a checklist to help get it straight.
