By far the worst customer service I have ever received from any Subway employee. Including on Belmont on Chicago(that’s saying something). The«sandwich artists» were the rude to guests, very sloppy, and skimped us on toppings. They rushed us through the line so they could continue gossiping, and screamed at me to speak up when she could not hear my order over her own conversation, I won’t be eating at that location ever again.

This Subway had a great selection– a good variety of bread(I really liked the honey oat grain bread option), and even pizza and salads which I don’t remember Subway offering. They also had a wide selection of bottled drinks in addition to the fountain drinks. I loved my BMT. I thought they had a full offering even though the restaurant is in an oasis. Jenn was pleasant and the fastest/most efficient person I’ve ever seen working at a Subway. Good experience!

Before I ordered my sandwich, I saw that the standard sandwiches cost $ 6.25 rather than $ 5 for the standard footlong. I am at the Dekalb oasis, so okay whatever. I kind of expect the prices to be jacked up. However, when one of my friends asked to clarify, the worker said it doesn’t apply. It is only at participating locations. Okay, whatever. I ordered a Spicy Italian sandwich. They only had 2 types of bread available which were Italian and Flatbread. I typically get wheat bread, so it was a little annoying. While I was waiting for my sandwich to be toasted, my friend picked out her vegetables. At first they were very sparingly about it and when she asked for more, the worker asked how much would she need to put for it to be considered«extra.» My friend asked to clarify and she said that they charge for extra vegetables. Keep in mind, she put about 10 slivers of red onion on her footlong falafel sandwich. At the checkout, my friend said she had never been to a Subway where they charged extra for vegetables and the lady who seemed like the manager said«This is a nontraditional Subway.» This is absolutely the WORST service I have ever received at Subway and at any food establishment I have been to my entire life. I understand if there was a long line ahead of us and she was busy, but there was no one and she treated us rudely before we even ordered our sandwiches. Never going to this Subway ever again. I’ll take my business to McDonalds or Starbucks where they value and provide proper customer service.
