Amazing food, large portions and great customer service. We keep coming back to this restaurant because it is apparent they strive to make the best food possible. Every time we’ve eaten here(whether carryout or dine-in), the food and atmosphere is small and welcoming. The food is always hot and made with the freshest ingredients. We’ve been coming here for several years and we’ve never had an issue. The prices are very reasonable for such good food. It is nice to see a small business keep it’s integrity in the world of fast-growing chains and dwindling customer service. Keep it up, Mirino’s!

Good subs, okay pizza. I just wish they would clean it up a bit and work on the décor just a little bit. I like it but I always feel like it’s a little bit dirty there. Also, the bathroom. No.

Ness L I wanted to take a opportunity to reply to your comment and address some of your concerns. As far as bare hand food contact we have an approved AOP on file with the state of Florida health department of which our health inspector reviews every time they come in and it is even on our health inspection Report as having an active and approved AOP through state of Florida. All employees have completed a food handling safety course with certificates on file which also is checked each time we have an inspection. Employees must be re-certified every 3 years. I as the owner/manager have completed the course and passed the exam for a food safety manager and must do so every 5 years per state of Florida restaurant requirement. As far as our slices go, state of Florida food safety requires any food that is not being held at temperature must be discarded after four hours. We follow this rule with our slices as well as our shredded lettuce. We have been in business for 39 years and take all the safeguards very serious and abide by all state and local rules and regulations. We pride ourselves in being food safe Conscience and with nothing to hide which is why we do almost all of our food handling and prep right out in the open. Thank you for voicing your concerns and hope you have a better understanding.

I so bad want to give this place a good rating because they have decent pizza better than Tonys but why must you use your bare hands to handle food! The salads are tossed and meats are pulled apart with fingertips. The slices of pizza you buy come from pizza sitting on an open countertop for who knows how long, pizza left out for more than 2 hrs starts to form bacteria, for health reasons I’ll never order a slice from there again and order food from there until they clean up their food handling in a more sanitary way.

The prices are really low and the pizza is really good. The staff is nice. The place has been around since I was a kid and still looks exactly the same… but it’s good pizza for a good price.

Yum! Pizza slices are HUGE! Small little restaurant but not to cramped. Next time I’m going to try a sub! Prices are low and they have lunch specials as well.

LOVELOVELOVE Mirino’s. I live in South Orlando and sometimes my family will all get together and drive to Deland just for the pizza. The pizza is greasy and delicious like it should be! The pizza is just too good and ive had pizza around the nation including NY, Chicago, California and nothing compares!

Local joint. So homely I like them. Friendly staff and cheap pizza. It’s pretty good but I will not say it’s the best because surprisingly, I have not had NY pizza yet but pretty good esp for the price. I support family businesses but FYI, if you’re into the décor it’s pretty quaint.

A friend of mine has always gone to mirino’s to get his subs. One day, I had to try the sub and see what the fuss was all about… A ham and cheese with feta and extra olive oil and vinegar. This is hands down the best sub I’ve ever eaten! Haven’t tried the pizza but I’ve heard great things about it. Would totally recommend this place. On another note, they received four stars because the staff never seems too happy to serve me… But a friend of mine works there, so I try to ignore the owners.

We’ve been living in Deland for about 3 years and have tried different pizzerias and this one was bad. The pizza was soggy towards the middle and you couldn’t even hold a slice, it was all mushy. Never again.

Mirino’s makes the best pizza in town, hands down. Another place I’ve been going to since before I can even remember. These guys are the real deal, and they continue to make an authentic NY pizza as they have been doing for seemingly forever. Perfectly greasy, with tons of salty cheese. The«all the way» definitely lives up to its name. This is serious artery clogging stuff, don’t go here expecting fresh vegetables and marinated tofu. What you want is a big, soggy, grease-saturated pie that soaks through the box and ruins your car seats on the way home. Delicious. Call ahead for a whole pie and it will be ready in no time, even when the take-out crowd descends on this place on weekends. Also a great place for lunch, with awesome subs, both cold cuts and hot sandwiches. Also Mirino’s is quite cheap, their pizza is a steal compared to just about every other place in town. I love this place and you will too.
