Sadly, this bookstore has closed. It’s now an antique store. It is a neat antique store. I would go again.

Loved the building and the layout. The store had a nice throw back feel with a second story surrounding an opening to the first floor. Ample areas to sit for a bit but the selection was a bit lean.

This place is fantastic. Born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, I spent my summers in Delavan. I didnt discover this place however until just a few years ago, and I tell you it has been amazing. Bibliomaniacs is one of those places that I cant come to Delavan without stopping at. Although this can be an issue because I usually end up spending hours in there, I dont mind. They have so much to sift through and the choices and finds are endless. The atmosphere is friendly and cozy and the cats that reside here are cute, cuddly, and waiting for your affection. this is a fantastic establishment that you just cannot pass up. There is not much left in the downtown Delavan area, but Bibliomaniacs is the place to go!

This large two-story store is filled with hardcovers and some gifts. This is a beautiful vintage bookstore, with a tin celiing and decorated with old Victorian furniture. Bibliomaniacs fits in perfectly with the antique stores that line the brick street. There are even a couple of store kitties that like to be scratched. They do not do paperback exchange.

Spend a fantastic afternoon visiting this adorable store in downtown Delavan. It resembles old book stores in movies. Check out the antiques and browse through two floors of used and collectable books. Be sure to make an appointment if you intend to sell books, and please leave the $ 3.99 novels at home.(Learned from personal experience)
