Brick House Bar and Grill

The renovations this building has, not only improved the look of the whole downtown, but helps keep the area alive at night. The inside is very nice, with black industrial ceilings, hardwood floors, granite counter tops, brick throughout and a very nice DJ lighting system. There are several specials everyday and prices are right. The only thing it’s lacking is quality dinner servers, other than that bartenders are very attentive, especially Sasha.

Very rude manager yelling at employees in front of us. Very uncomfortable and we will not return.

Great place to eat and drink during the day and early evening. Food is good-​quality and easy on the pocket. I love their wings and chicken skewers (please bring back salt and vinegar) Server Karen is splendid. Bartender Brittany is friendly and upbeat. I usually don’t come here in the evening because it is too loud for my liking. Great if you’re looking for a lively night life on the weekend! I was here on Halloween and surprisingly had a really good time although!

This is a nicely updated, spacious bar and grill. I had a 10 ounce cheeseburger with fries. The burger was very good and the fries were hot and crispy. The service was attentive and the food was served fast. The prices are very reasonable.

This a nice modern looking sports bar duing the day! Great to catch a game, some food and a drink or 2. I’ve been here during the day and the crowd is pretty local and very nice. HOWEVER once 7pm rolls around take a look around and the whole demographic changes to… ahem… more «urban» feel to it. I“ve seen some of the drunks hanging outside of this place and I can tell it’s rough crowd if you know what I mean. If you are near this bar during the day I say check it out if you plan on going at night for the dj, music, etc. make sure your prepared for some hard stares from both the rough men and women along with the ghetto music.

So I dropped the dog off to get groomed and needed to kill some time so we stopped in here to check it out and grab some lunch.
First off let me say this, what a nice Delavan surprise.
Secondly, lots of room plenty of tables and plenty of bar space.
Next, great menu, excellent prices, great specials.
Let me also mention the magic words HAPPY HOUR.
We took a seat at the bar and ordered away. Grabbed some wings for .25 each, dollar tacos and oh looked on the menu and had to try the Chipolte Cheddar Burger.
The food was probably the best bar food I’ve had in Walworth County.
However, nothing can ruin your experience like the bartender.
There is nothing worse than a bartender on a power trip, having a bad day or whatever but her attitude killed my mood in the first five minutes.
I don’t know if she tried to throw out the big city attitude towards me but I am from a big city and never saw attitude like that.
Half way through our lunch, she did soften up a tad but too late.
I’m looking forward to going back, hopefully a different bartender will be there.
