Really used to enjoy this place but once the black mold story broke and rat stuff I just scant get myself to try it again. I wish I could go back =(

The manager is really anal when it comes to using a groupon. Our party of 4 arrived for dinner and were seated quickly as there were plenty of tables available. When we showed the groupon they said that since we were with another couple, we would need to be seated at another table since they wont honor it if we sit together at a round table. So we were escorted to 2 tables that they put together. Then it took at least 15 mins to take our order despite being rather empty. Lastly when I asked for some bread they said its extra $ 2.50, I declined but they brought it out anyway with the meal which I refused to eat. What was interesting is that when they took the plates after the meal was completed, the bread was still left on the table.(Was it to serve as a reminder as an extra order?) When the bill arrived the bread was of course added, for which I had to remind them to remove. The food was great but because of the manager’s poor performance I wont ever come back nor recommend it my family or friends.

Whole process of making a reservation was extremely frustrating. Food was ok but very skimpy. I won’t be back. Service was ok.

One of my favorite little spots to unwind for a sunny sidewalk meal. Beautiful space with a Very Parisian sidewalk café vibe. I dream about the hummas at night

Mediocre food with small portions. Slooooooooow service. And the tables are TINY. And much to close together. It’s also been shut down for bugs/rats a few times. Skip it.

Great breakfast, reasonable and consistent, too. Café Martier has cool vibe with great décor inside and outside seating as well. My husband is in love with the shakshoukah. A spicy, tomato based egg and cheese dish served in a skillet. The Romanesque tomato sauce has a crunchy almond base. Served with great crunchy rolls… This is hard to beat. I really like almost everything here. The lox, cream cheese breakfast is also amazing. Served on a crunchy Italian bread… Also fabulous. As you can see we are there often. Service is always great. We love eating here.

OMG. Got a Groupon for what used to be GOL. Well worth it my friends. Amazing food. My man and I behave the tacos which were a soft shell taco. Amazing. Perfectly spiced and delectable. I had the«kosher» short ribs. I quote since they use cheese in their chicken flatbread. The meat was«melt in your mouth» amazing. My man had the snapper which had a crisp skin and delicious and included butternut squash and pomegranate kerns. Amazing. David is the best waiter from Louisiana and knows his food. Ask for him. It is definitely worth trying.

A cool little French-styled bistro in Delray that’s great for any time of the day. I have only had the waffles so far during their breakfast hours, but I like what I have had so far. Courteous wait staff. Relaxed but hip atmosphere. The iced coffee was solid. I’ll provide more updates as I make my way through their menu.

The experience here was wonderful. Upon entering there you are greeted with the outer dining area that looks into the main dining room. It’s a very cozy little place with string lights on the ceiling that hang over the entire place and the wonderful water fountain. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very friendly. I had chosen to go with the chicken, Brie and pesto panini. The Brie is very mild hit goes fantastic with the pesto. My boyfriend got steak and eggs. The dish was $ 14 dollars, and a bit small but it did not disappoint. The steak was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. There were roasted potatoes under that were roasted and was just soft yet crunchy enough. The biggest reason why this place got a 5 stars was that my sister in law needed to breastfeed as we saw that the juice bar area was quiet and no one was in there. They had no issues letting her in there, and she walked out with a happy 4 month old that was nice and full.

After running a 5k dressed as Santa there really isn’t anything left to do but eat some brunch! My group(some of us still dressed) headed over to Caffe Martier to grab a bite to eat and some celebratory drinks! At ~9am Caffe Martier was pretty busy, especially on the outside courtyard, but we were able to grab a table inside to fit all of us. At first glance people watching on the courtyard might seem the way to go, but dining inside with their fountain, large bar and overhead skylight is definitely the best way to enjoy their dining space. Our server promptly brought over menus and explained the AYCD mimosa options. For $ 15 this is a great deal, and their flavors truly unique(Grapefruit, Blueberry/Basil, Regular OJ, Amaretto/Pear or Sangria). Pretty much all of us at the table went the mimosa route(for $ 8 per mimosa definitely getting the AYCD package is the way to go!) and I was able to sample almost every flavor just with round 1. I think the Sangria option ended up being my favorite(plus you get a bigger cup) but pretty much every flavor was decent and I’d happily drink them all again! For food the group all went different ways, and somehow I decided on the salmon sandwich served with a small side salad. This seemed like the best deal to me as I was perhaps the only one to take food home, which made for a great afternoon snack before dinner. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and I’d order this again without a doubt. Our server was great and did an excellent job keeping the mimosas flowing. There were a few hiccups with food coming out, which is the norm with larger groups, but she kept everything going smoothly and made sure things were corrected in the end. Great spot for a light bite on the ave!

After participating in the Delray Beach Jingle Bell Jog 5k, our group was ready to celebrate. What better way to consume all the calories you had just burned than with brunch? At Savanna M.‘s suggestion, we visited Caffe Martier. First impression: What an adorable place! It’s an open air restaurant that is still completely covered. With the skylights letting in natural light, combined with the strung up bulbs, the restaurant was warm and cozy while not being too bright. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and welcoming, from the hostess table to the wait staff. When we heard they had unlimited mimosas for $ 15(the standard going rate, I’ve noticed), with several different flavoring options, almost all of our group of eight people opted to partake. We had to toast, after all. My first choice: grapefruit. Loved it! The restaurant isn’t very heavy-handed with the juice, so you definitely get a good amount of champagne in each glass. We all sampled each others to get an idea of what flavors we liked best(other options: blueberry basil, orange, sangria, and amaretto). I ended up with amaretto and orange being my next two choices, before I switched back to grapefruit again. For my meal, I opted for the French omelette, where you can add in your own toppings. I wanted to keep it simple and just get plenty of cheese. Normally I choose sharp cheddar, but that was not an option here, so I went with brie. The omelette comes with a little side salad(I asked for balsamic vinaigrette for it, since it was only very lightly drizzled with oil and seasoned) and a small croissant. My omelette was cooked perfectly. I found out that, while I really like brie and I really like omelettes, I don’t really care for the two when combined. But I still ate the whole thing(hey, I had worked up an appetite beforehand), and it was still quite good. The salad was delicious once I had the dressing for it, and the croissant was fresh and buttery. I could’ve stopped there, but I saw pain au chocolate on the menu, and couldn’t resist. After all, I’ve never had a chocolate croissant before, and where better to get one than a French café? Given that the tiny croissant that accompanied my meal was lovely, I had high expectations for my dessert one, and it lived up to them! I got one of the last ones too, as they were very close to running out by the time we had arrived. They’re obviously pretty popular for a reason, because mine was divine. This was a cute little spot for a meal, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We decided to drop in for brunch here after the Jingle Jog, because of the high ratings. Surprisingly, it wasn’t terribly crowded. It’s an attractive restaurant with nice artwork and ambiance. Our group was seated at a high table with metal barstools. It wasn’t bad to start with, but the stools were slippery and became uncomfortable fairly quickly. The menu looked great, with some traditional breakfast and lunch items and some that were more unique. They also offer unlimited mimosas of several flavors for $ 15. Since this was a celebration of sorts, we decided to go with it. The first one I had was a blueberry basil. Mostly what I tasted was champagne with just a hint of the two flavors. I then decided to go for the grapefruit, which I didn’t like at all. I traded with my daughter for her sangria mimosa and it was really good! It had just the right amount of sweetness and a great blend of fruits. I figured I’d hit the winner with that one. Oddly, the second one tasted nothing like the first. The fruit level was too low and there was no sweetness, I only had a few sips. Oddly enough, as the Carb Queen, I was really feeling a protein deficit so I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs; steak medium rare and eggs over medium. It took quite a while for the food to come out. When it arrived, my first note was that my eggs were browned. I’m not a fan of browned eggs. But okay, I can deal with it and I was really hungry. They did have a properly runny yolk. The steak was very unevenly cooked. It was mostly medium well, with a few slices of well done and only two very small slices that approached medium rare. It was like one end of the grill was really hot and the other one much colder. It was a small steak, so I can’t quite figure out how they managed the distribution of doneness. It was disappointing. There were a handful of potato chunks with the dish that were okay, but it really needed some nice buttered toast to go with the eggs. The best thing was the service. The waitress was trying really hard to keep up with the drinks and was very cooperative about taking a group picture for us. If everything had been up to her standard, this would be a four star review, but sadly, the food just had too many issues.

Café Martier is a perfect addition to Atlantic Avenue. This is a perfect lunch and brunch spot, and they have excellent happy hour specials. I came here for Sunday brunch and had several appetizers, bruschetta, tacos, wings and mimosas. My group of four ordered 5 different appetizers and we were more than satisfied with the food presentation, quality, and overall value. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I will absolutely be back for more brunches here. Great atmosphere, location, food… What a treat!

Caffe Martier has been on my bookmark list for a minute, and finding out that Saturday and Sunday is brunch with unlimited mimosas(or champagne concoctions) we decided to check it out. We rolled up between 12:30−1pm, it was already packed as expected, brunch deals last till 3pm, so we were still within time. I put our name down, the hostess was very polite, and she told me they would call or text when the table was available. We headed to the bar to start on the unlimited drinks special. The bartender Kyle was very personable and let us try a couple of the flavors before sticking with our choice for the special. I went with the blueberry-basil champagne cocktail and I stuck with it the entire time as it was the best flavor in my opinion. Eventually we were seated at a small bistro table behind the bar next to the fountain. Our server wasn’t that great: took ages for him to arrive, did not introduce himself, had to ask for menus, then he only brought one — it was a rocky start. We ordered, then half an hour later he tells us «someone» forgot to put us on the list for food, so our orders hadn’t even been started. The manager came over and comped us some potato wedges to hold us over, then suddenly our food arrived. I got the Tuscan chicken baguette, and Ric N. got the chicken and brie panini, of course we traded our extra halves to get a try of both. All the food in my opinion was yummy and very fresh. The chicken was perfectly cooked on both, but the brie panini took the trophy for flavor. Overall I felt like this could have been a five star experience but the service really let it down. I would give it another visit, particularly to the speakeasy bar when it opens Dec 5th. Overall good bartender, good food, good manager for getting involved, I’ll be back Martier(said in a very bad Schwartzenegger voice).

Jade and I read that the café had endless mimosas with a nice brunch special to our surprise they had many different flavors! As you can see in my photos very tasty each one, my favorite though was the mint. So we starting up at the bar because there was quite a bit of a wait so we thought we would just hang with the bartenders who were very personable and knowledgeable about the drinks which was quite helpful. Backtracking a bit we originally went to the coffee bar to sit and perhaps have brunch there but we were never greeted never acknowledged and we sat there for over 10 minutes and decided just to go back to the main front bar. So it was nice catching up with the bartenders and getting to know them and luckily for us a small table opened up and we were able to sit. Since it was endless we continued to order our drinks which they were very quick to provide us with refills, which is very rare when something is endless. We then placed our brunch orders. We continue to have conversation and of course drink and we did notice that 40 minutes or more had passed and we still have not received our brunch. This was our first time here for brunch so it was very important for them to make a good impression. The waiter then comes to us and explains somehow after this long wait Our order ticket was lost so we are running basically on alcohol. The manager did come up and was very nice and provided us with a small appetizer which was average. Finally our sandwiches came and my Panini was absolutely delicious the bread was very thin and the chicken was extraordinarily tasteful. Jade on the other hand let me try her sandwich and it reminded me of a hoagie bun with the chicken inside which was good but it was just too much breading. The price was very reasonable and you definitely get your bang for the buck on the endless mimosas! I think I would be willing to give them a second chance and perhaps try dinner next time.

I love this place even more since it has been redone. It’s so charming inside so don’t just stick to the outside dining. I usually stick to the parfait, croissant and a latte for breakfast but the Belgian waffle and French toast are amazing too. I bought a groupon for dinner but I’ve only been for breakfast so far. I’m looking forward to more amazingness though.

Avocado-Mousse Croissant. Microphone drop. Out! Went here on a Sunday morning around 11. Had to wait about 10 minutes. When you first walk in, it’s pretty much an open restaurant. Go a little further in and there are skylights everywhere, so it has a really airy feel to it. Ordered some mimosas. They ended up being $ 9 each, which I think is high for the amount of champagne in there. I could be wrong, and I could be comparing this to the $ 3 mimoas the Hyatt Place offers all Sat/Sunday. Ok, enough about that. Back to the mouthgasm. The Avo Mousse croissant sandwich was freakin amazing, each bite better than the last. It comes with side of arugula. We also had the Wild Mushroom Omelette, which was good, but not Avo Mousse. I will defintely go back, skip the mimosas, and have a tasty brunch!

An excellent spot for brunch. Service was great. I love the location on the main strip in Delray. The seating is awesome: sidewalk patio, a shady breezeway(think large open air hallway bridging the sidewalk and indoors) or inside dining. The first two options are pet friendly which I love. I ordered an omelet with tomatoes and cheese and avocado mouse. Loved it. They put just enough avocado mouse, which is an airy avocado substance with hints of lime) to cover the entire omelet which I appreciate because oftentimes restaurants don’t put enough sauces on for my taste. Lots of different lunch options here so it would be a great place for groups. Coffee — strong and good. Nothing starts a morning off better foodwise then a good cup Of coffee. Two criticisms:(i) high fructose corn syrup jelly?! Come on. This is 2015. You can’t find a local jam maker?(ii) my boyfriend ordered a turkey breakfast sandwich/omelette and paid $ 3 up charge for the meat but there was so little he sent it back requesting more. I mean, if you pay extra you want to at least be able to see what you’re paying the extra for.

This is my absolute favorite French bakery and breakfast spot in the Boca/Delray area. They used to be very small with only a few outdoor tables that always had a long wait on the weekends but have thankfully expanded to more interior seating. The indoor renovation is beautiful and reminiscent of a French garden with hanging lights, a juice bar, trendy couches and a fountain. The coffee is made European-style and so are the pastries. My must tries: Apple and Brie sandwich Vegetable omelet Waffles Chocolate croissants The coffee, any kind.
