Just came apond this gem, Taylor was our server, a funny guy, got hit with crowd from art fest. Food was delish, my friend had the Mexican skillet, I loved that you can order ½sandwich so I got the angry Delray(skirt steak, jalapeño pepper, that had the best flavor, Swiss& grilled onion ‚) & a goat cheese. arugula & fig! yUM! Owner is a doll! Very inexpensive, tasty, can sit outside ! Cool breeze!

Let me tell you, my boyfriend and I used to be regulars here and I left them an awesome review before. We hadn’t been been in about a year and went a couple weeks ago and we were not happy. First off, service was the absolute worst. We sat ourselves and after about 10 mins had to go inside to tell the waitress we were there. We found her inside eating(it was about 8:00pm). She came to take our order, brought our food etc but we had to go ask every time we needed a refill. Then when we were done, we sat there for a good 30 mins chatting before I went inside to ask her for the check. Totally disappointing and frustrating. The food was good although the fries were very salty. We know the GM but she wasn’t in that night, maybe that’s why Svc was so bad but Unfortunately, we won’t be back soon.

I love everything about this place! 1st you have GOT to try the Angry Delray sandwich! Knocked my SOCKSOFF! I am in love with the thing! Everything I’ve had is really great. I adore the staff and the owner is such a cool person! It’s like a little club or family here. Lilo’s is officially my favorite neighborhood spot for a delicious breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner too! The chef cooks with such passion it’s really refreshing. I never finish my food when I go out but… I DEVOURED this. I always leave with a big smile on. #happyplace!

Went to this place randomly one night when my friend suggested $ 2 tacos! Ever since then it has become one of my favorite spots before the beach, I always get the buffalo chicken tacos. My friend and I shared a huge basket of fries for only $ 3 that we couldn’t even finish. Staff is incredibly friendly and remembered us the next time we went, it’s a little hidden gem.

This place is amazing. I’ve been ordering delivery from this place for a while but last week I finally made it in for brunch. I ordered the mexican egg skillet and added the spicy beef. So so so dank. I have never had a breakfast dish like this and it has changed the game. Still thinking about it today. Because i ordered food i was able to get my unlimited sangria for $ 14, if you aren’t up for eating they still offer it for $ 20-great deal, applies to mimosas too. The server was super nice, you can tell she enjoys her work. Cant stop thinking about the skillet. I wish they had it every day.

Stopped in on our day trip to Delray and found the place empty which doesn’t bode well for most places! The bacon avocado sandwich was refreshing but the shrimp and mahi tacos a la carte were by far the favorites of our meal. If your looking for a quick and light meal coming or going from the beach then this is the place!!!

Cute place, good food, good prices. Friendly but abysmal service. Food was served promptly but without any condiments or side orders. Maybe the food was hot when it was first served, but by the time the sides arrived the meals were quite cold. Coffee was poured a half a cup at a time, and despite three requests was never refilled during our meal. Asked for our check, still waiting after 20 minutes. What a shame, seems like a nice place with good food.

One of my oldest bookmarks finally checked off the list. I came to lilos with a friend for lunch on a weekday and we both really enjoyed our meals. With our Unilocal check in we got a free app and ordered dolphin bites. The server dropped a few of the bites as she was walking over to us. She insisted on getting us another full order. What was left seemed like a full order it was a good 5⁄6 bites. They were tasty and came with a special dipping sauce. The second order came and I’m glad we decided to share our entrée of lobster mac and cheese cuz I was pretty full at this point. The lobster mac and cheese is delicious but SUPER rich! It’s a tiny ramekin of deliciousness with giant chunks of lobster and awesome cheesy goodness. It came with a side salad which i used some extra dolphin bites on. To drink we ordered a pitcher of sangria which was house made and tasty. The only problem with this place is the seating is all outdoor. And it’s a tiny seating area. I would avoid going during a summer lunch day as even with the fans going full blast we were both overheating.

Small, chill music, good food, cheap beer and a come as you are vibe. Came on a Saturday around 6pm with my wife. No seating inside but about a dozen tables outside. My wife had the steak tacos which she said was delicious and I had the shrimp tacos which were awesome! We also had chicken nachos which weren’t your average nachos. The chicken was shredded which I loved but the cheese wasn’t melted. It wasn’t bad just not what I was expecting. Would definitely recommend!

Lunch at Lilo’s on a Sunday Funday! Had the cilantro lime shrimp tacos and they were delicious and very filing(you get 3). For all my vegetarian friends the Southwest omelette has shredded ham in it, my friend found out the hard way lol.

This is a great spot to have a casual bite and get out of the sun. The food is nothing to write home about but it was good for a light beach day lunch. My Mahi Sandwich and coleslaw was enjoyable but did not stand out — the coleslaw tasted overly dressed and the Mahi wasn’t as seasoned as I expected. The beer list was lacking in craft options but perhaps this is just because we visited a few days after St. Patrick’s Day. It is a smallish space so be prepared to possibly wait on a busy day.

Found this place on Unilocal and came here based on the reviews. My experience here was not at all what I was expecting. The staff was very nice and helpful but everything felt dirty. The paper menus were very crumpled and had spots and stains all over them. The tables were covered in old crusted food. And when the server arrived with my water there was an oily-film all over the top. The food was pretty good. I ordered the 50⁄50 sliders which were good, but a lot smaller than I was expecting based on the price. My plate was about 80% french fries, 20% sliders. I typically have a hard time finishing my plate at a restaurant, but I left here hungry. I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Once again Unilocal came though! I am in Delray quite a bit for work and am always up for finding a new tasty spot. I Unilocaled lunch and came up with Lilo’s. I enjoyed the breezy outdoor seating and really enjoyed the pulled chicken tacos. They were just like something I would make at home! The beans and rice were a little dry but still tasty. I look forward to lunching here again soon.

It took me a little while to write a review for this place because I’m still trying to decide how I feel about it. I just want to add that I was with a VERY picky bunch. Two of which are elderly, so they don’t like anything. First– the food: The food I would give 4 out of 5 stars. I had the shrimp tacos and they were a little salty, but really not too bad. Everyone else really enjoyed their food too. My brother also loved his Mahi– Mahi tacos. The guacamole was very fresh and delicious. I really would like to see this place have less Mexican on their menu and maybe more surf and turf without putting it in tacos. I just think in general this place had a lot of potential with the food, it just could have been better quality. Second– the service: Again, it really did have a lot of potential. The owner, Lilo, was so nice and hospitable. She frequently came over to my crazy bunch to make sure we were ok and she was doing the same to the other tables, which I think was great. Our waitress was very nice as well. She was new and you could tell, but she was very hospitable as well and was doing her very best. The kitchen was very slow, so it took a while for the food to come out. The place wasn’t even that busy on a Wednesday night so we were confused about why it took so long. Third– the prices and additional remarks: It was definitely worth the money, but it didn’t cost much. I wouldn’t pay any more for the food we got. It definitely was not a rip off though, which most places are on Atlantic Avenue. This place would be a great place for lunch after the beach, I wouldn’t recommend it for dinner. It’s very casual. I would also come here with friends to drink and have a fun lunch because they have cheap beers and drinks. This place does have a lot of potential though.

Hubby and I stopped in here for lunch today after passing by a gazillion times. What a fun little spot! Seating is outdoor only, with a lot of shaded options. I think there was only one table that was not underneath the awning and received direct sun. This is a casual spot where you place your order on a small clipboard and come up with a table name(not that it really matters, but it makes for a good conversation piece). We were, «Monkey Cheese Bubbles». Don’t even ask. ;) Once our server saw we were done placing our order, she swung by, asked a few clarifying questions and BAM… order placed! I opted for the 3 vegetarian tacos and they were yummy. They came with my choice of rice or beans. I chose the beans even though beans were the primary filling for my veggie tacos that also included lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and cheese with sour cream, guac, and salsa on the side. My husband ordered the 3 shrimp tacos and kept talking about how good they were. For the price, the size of this lunch was very reasonable. I even asked for a to-go box for my remaining taco as they were filled so high and really filling for lunch. For a little casual spot, with friendly service and outdoor seating, check out Lilo’s. Oh, and our server said they show movies against a little screen there on weekends. We might check that out next time.

Great little place for casual dinner and drinks… I only wish that the seating was more comfortable… We ordered the conch fritters which were very tasty… For dinner I had the lobster mac and cheese which was outstanding! My fiancé had beef tacos, they came out spicy which he liked however it was not my favorite. I definitely look forward to coming here again, if seating and atmosphere was just a little bit better then I would give this 5 stars… The food was delicious!

I usually wait a while to write reviews these days, but I wanted to talk about Lilo’s pronto. I was coming from out of town and had no idea what was in the Delray/Boynton area and trying to coordinate 3 other people to meet me for dinner was a pain in the ass. I saw this newer place pop up at the top of my search results and it won over some other well-known Delray places. No one in my group knew anything about it other than an address and menu online. I actually drove past it while trying to find it. Twice. It’s a tiny little storefront with outside-only seating. Even though south Florida was a nice balmy million degrees, there were tons of strong fans keeping us cool. The chef’s daughter waited on us and she was super sweet and friendly. At the end of our meal he popped out and made an appearance. I love that this is a mom & pop type of place and would definitely make it a regular stop if I lived in the area. So, the important things — the noms. My table ordered a bunch of drinks — most had sangria; I ended up with a peace tea lemonade-tea based on their suggestion. Well, looks like I found a new thing I like! It was taking us a while to decide on food, and we were also suggested homemade chips, guac, and salsa. Also an excellent choice. The chips were warm and crunchy, and the salsa had a nice bite. I ordered the filet tacos and they were loaded with fresh tomato, lettuce, cheese, and meat. It was mild(a safe option for people afraid of spicy things) but you can add the side of salsa to spice it up some. The three tacos were so filling but I wish I could have tried the chicken sliders two of my friends ordered. I could smell the pesto and was informed they were delicious. I’m so stoked with my decision to come here. I hope my friends local to the area keep going back, and it will definitely be on my list to return to when I make it back to this side of Florida.
