Great comic book collection!

Wonderful library with extremely patient, friendly librarians and check out folks that remain this way even in the face of rude patrons (which I have unfortunately witnessed multiple times). While they do not always have the materials I want, I am able to easily go online and reserve them to be sent to this branch (Hagen Road-​West Delray Beach) for pick up.
My biggest complaint is it takes forever to pick up the books I have on reserve. This is the only library I have been to that stores the reserved books behind the counter requiring that you wait in line and ask someone to retrieve them for you. What would typically take me a couple minutes has at times taken 10 – 15 minutes. This is due to the fact that that you must wait in line at the main check out counter behind a wide range of people, some of whom need quite a bit of assistance checking out their materials. I am willing to be patient, but this gets ridiculous at times. PLEASE place a shelf out (perhaps across from the main check out counter or in front of the new books) clearly labeled as reserved so folks can pick up their own reserved books and check them out in a timely manner.

Lots of comfy tables and seats with natural lighting.
I wish all libraries were this nice.
