The service was complete ass. Made a reservation about a month ago and I still had to wait for my table.

I went for Father’s Day brunch and had to wait 40 minutes for our table when we had booked a reservation well in advanced. Luckily Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s were included so we went to the bar and had a few while we waited. It was a rainy day and once seated I found my chair was soaking wet and completely soaked the back of my dress. I wasn’t impressed with that and had to use every napkin on the chair to soak it up. Once we had returned from our first round of food they had definitely switched out my chair for another once they realized. The wait staff were very pleasant and attentive. The table looked brand new every time we returned from the buffet. Also disappointed with non-inclusive valet parking. It was $ 5 without tip. The food was delicious. However, I wasn’t able to enjoy any of the crab because it was completely frozen. That was disappointing. We walked around the back by the cottages after brunch and it’s absolutely beautiful back there. Has a great key west feel to it with gorgeous plants and extremely well-maintained. It would be beautiful for a wedding and I’d definitely recommend going for dinner with a date.

The Sundy House is by far the best place for bunch in Boca/Delray area! The atmosphere itself is worth the price. The Sundy House is more than just a restaurant, it’s a experience with delicious food, a tranquil environment and great service. I highly recommend!

I ate here for the Sunday brunch with my wife, daughter and in-laws and it was fantastic. The seafood included shrimp, crab legs and oysters which were all really good. I had a banana and chocolate crêpe which was great. The salmon might have been the best salmon that I have ever eaten. It was absolutely awesome and flavored perfectly. The waffles and prime rib were great as well. The service was really good and the busboys were on top of the refills in a timely manner. I don’t think our glasses were empty for more than a minute throughout the entire meal. The only complaint I have is that the dessert items were kind of disappointing. It didn’t really matter too much because I decided that the chocolate and banana crêpe was my dessert; however, it would have been nice to have a little more variety. Everyone can’t eat ice cream and that’s really what the dessert bar is made up of. Walking through the back of the property is nice and they have a bunch of cool things to see and experience in the gardens. It’s kind of cool that they have cenotes. Since this restaurant is pricey, I can only see eating here on a special occasion. But if I am looking for a great brunch in a relaxing atmosphere, this place will be first on my list.

I’m in love with this place. The food, the service, delicious mimosas. The beautiful gardens and even the adorable kid that served us ice cream . What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon

My Mother has wanted to go for their Mother’s Day brunch — was so excited! Not worth $ 75. Basic plain brunch — nothing exceptional. My Bellini tasted off, no salt or pepper on the tables + every time they picked up a plate, they took the silver ware. Won’t be going back —

Not well run, management need to focus on service and cleanliness. A couple of ponds and trees don’t make up for the lack of good service and sanitation. Overated.

Beautiful property and great place for a quaint wedding but as a staying guest a lot has changed here… No staff only security after 10:30pm, room was with major issues and if you there’s a wedding which is always happening on weekends, your a second class citizen! Very disappointed and very expensive for 290.00 a night.

Had a large family celebration here with great success. We sat outdoors and were able to talk and mingle, unlike other places where you are ushered in and out quickly in a noisy environment. This was a perfect location and we even used the beautiful gardens to get some family photos before sunset. I only went inside to use the restroom, but the bar looked nice and the main room had a nice airy feel.

We stayed here for a wedding and also went to brunch the next day. The room (#9 black bamboo) was cool– in a shabby chic kinda way. It’s definitely not a crisp clean Marriot but it was cool. The lighting in the room was really awful and there was no full length mirror which was a pain in the ass considering we were getting ready to attend this wedding. Whatever they used to clean the wood floors was so greasy that I couldn’t bare to walk without shoes on, it was disgusting. We tried to call the front desk from the room multiple times for various different reasons during our stay to no avail. no one even answered at all. The valet person was pretty rude and when we were checking out the next day, before having brunch there, my husband wanted the car to be pulled around so we could put our bags in and was told that he could walk to the car because it was very close. That’s fine but he was carrying 6 bags and the parking lot was flooded. Then brunch. Looked AMAZING. The crab legs and oysters were room temperature. So the best part, at least to us, wasn’t even edible. Then I wanted some fruit and went to serve myself some melon. the second I moved the serving spoon about 15 flies flew off the fruit and I noticed they were on all the deserts so I told the manager. He was RUDE. The way he treated me was as if I was offensive for complaining about flies being on the fruit because«yea, they’re FRUIT flies» that’s what he said to me. COOL! Doesn’t mean it’s ok for you to 1. Serve food covered in flies or 2. Treat me like I did something wrong by bringing it to your attention. I was pretty stunned by his lack of friendliness and professionalism. Unfortunately they earned 2 stars. If the manager had treated me better, ya know, like I’m a human being who works hard for the money I spent on that overpriced brunch then maybe this review would render more stars but unfortunately he had to be a douche. Loved the intentions and potential of Sundy house but no… we won’t be back.

My 3 star review is specifically for the Sunday Morning Brunch, if you are not planning on drinking alcohol do not come here for food because you will definitely pay the price The hotel is beautiful, the patios and sitting areas are extremely nice, the service not the best as far as my experience and the buffer food was cold and not fresh, it is a bad sign when you pay $ 150 for two people and your favorite dish is the rice Now I’ve heard is a different story on their menu dining haven’t been there to give my review on that one

Saturday night dinner. The food was cooked perfectly as ordered. The place is just beautiful. The lost star was due to the service. I have refrained from writing about the service but this has been consistent for the past several visits. On tonight’s visit. The bisque was served without a spoon. We had to ask and wait for one once he understood what we wanted. The lobster was served and we had to wait for the«apron», bib. Only 4 people in our party and he couldn’t remember who ordered what. Here comes the worst part. After we were done no one was clearing the table. I finally asked if he could please clear the tabie, take all the dirty plates away, no to go boxes, please take them away. He seemed to have trouble understand this. He then again asked each one of us again slowly before finally clearing the table. I keep returning as I am here for the ambiance, the gardens and the food is good. Service could use some improvement.

I love it when I can add a place to my ‘5 star list’. It’s pretty exclusive here on Unilocal. Anniversary brunch. Kids with grandparents. Nice weather. Alone time with my wife. First you walk into the house where they start you with a tour of the buffet. Then out to the bar area which is kinda outside, kinda not. Then through a patio out to the shockingly beautiful gardens(shockingly b/c who knew this was here in Delray). We heard a singer who really had an awesome voice, again another level up. Let’s start with drinks… unlimited bloody Mary’s, mimomas, bellinis, and champagne. Our glasses never went empty. All around us we heard pops of champagne. The bloody Mary they make was THE best one I ever ever had. You don’t even need to add anything(although they have the usual). Both the waitress and the bartender said to try it first before adding… they were right. The seafood was a notch above all other brunches. Huge fresh oysters. Large shrimp that was not peel n eat… cause it was already peeled! Crab legs were just ok, smoked salmon was good. But of sauces to go with. Lot of food., not gonna explain it all… but two things stood out: Fresh waffles with bananas foster and homemade whip cream, and some seriously amazing fried chicken(I can’t recall the sauce). We ended up staying for 3 hours. We ate. We talked. We even took a walk around the gardens. The seat by the patio, the beautiful views. The awesome food and delicious drinks. All make up for a really great anniversary brunch. Really can’t wait to do this again some time… but not for a bit… waist can’t handle it! :)

This place is great. Some might think pricey but you get so much food and unlimited mimosas and bloody Mary’s– it’s worth it. I would definitely go hungry and take your time eating. A woman sitting next to us went up to get food eight times. My friend took me for my birthday. Well worth it. Grounds are beautiful. I am not a dessert eater but had my share of chocolate. I would definitely recommend going on an empty stomach and elastic waist clothing. Lol. The food is good, the service was good. After brunch take a nice stroll on Atlantic Ave.

Sundy House is known for their pricey brunch and lush gardens in historic downtown Delray. Valet parking is $ 5 but parking can be found down the street if you are willing to walk. Busier times will be difficult to find parking at all downtown. The hostess will provide a tour of the food stations if you are first-timer. The buffet starts right at the entrance. The venue offers seating in many ways. Intimate rooms surrounded by art, larger rooms in dark wood, or when the weather permits, outdoor garden seating. Outdoor grants the best views of their gardens. There is seating beneath gazebos or in the open shaded by plants. There is bar seating as well. The food options are plentiful. Their hot dishes vary week to week. The staples are breakfast items, waffle station, omelette station, carving station, fresh seafood and an entire corner just for desserts and ice cream bar. Of course, unlimited mimosas and Bloody Mary bar. They serve a stronger mimosa blend than most of the brunch places in the area. The service is optimal. Beverages were always filled to the brim. The GM checked in on us and introduced himself. During this visit I tried the Honey Fried Chicken, Traditional Eggs Benedict and the Sausage and Yellow Rice. The boneless chicken was thigh and breast meat with chunky sweet breading, possibly corn flake. The sausage they used was Kielbasa which was fine but parts of the rice was hard when it was supposed to be fluffy since it is not of the fried variety. The English muffin in the Benedict was thick and doughy. I was expecting an airier version. My poached egg was overdone, the yolk did not pour out when I cut into it. They have a glorious display of cheese and fruit platter. Huge cubes of cheese with at least 7 types of crackers. They have Alaskan King crab legs, peel and eat shrimp, oysters. I always have their thick mini waffles which you can garnish to your heart’s content with bananas foster sauce or maple. They serve whipped cream in giant silver bowls. Strawberry, blueberry, blackberry fruit mix is offered. The waffles are crisp with a cakey inside. The crepes had crunchy stale corners. A disappointment. They serve an eye popping display of desserts. All varieties are served in a miniature version, enough for one bite. This way you can try many without wasting full servings. They were all good. This is a beautiful place to enjoy brunch.

Food is phenomenal. I’ve had dinner and brunch here. It is on the expensive side making it more of a special occasion place. I had dinner here with several couples and the men thought the portions were small. They ordered appetizers and salads in additions to their main courses. Also opentable often offers 1,000 points for booking a reservation here. Nice landscaping and valet makes it easy to park. If you have a chance take a stroll through the grounds they have multiple small ponds, bridges, gazebos and cute benches. Good place for a date. Side note: All you can eat brunch is $ 60 or $ 70 per person! Don’t go hungry go hangry!

6÷21÷2015 — Sunday Brunch at this place was EXPENSIVE. I think it was $ 10 more dollars than usual because it was Father’s Day.($ 75 pp plus tax and gratuity, which was 20% — $ 30 per couple) With that said, the place, which is a B&B is very charming. They have valet parking. It was very busy of course, our friends were already seated so we proceeded to enter to the Fresco Room. You walk in to the dessert, salad, seafood area. The desserts looked amazing but then you get the seafood smell and it’s a complete turn off. They need to rearrange their food. Every time you entered the Fresco Room, it was everything but Fresco, it smelled like someone had left a wet towel for days. We chose to sit inside being that it was like a 100 degrees outside. The food presentation was beautiful. The food was OK. I was really expected to be blown away with Chef’s stations and creations. It was buffet style with chaffing dishes and warm food. The truffle mac and cheese was pretty delicious. The waffles and crepes were just sitting there, they were not fresh. They had your typical omelet station and carving station. The carving station included turkey, ham, and pork loin. The Bloody Marys were just sitting at the bar for you to take. Some were watered down. I enjoyed the crab legs, they were huge and meaty. They had oysters and shrimp as well. The server was nice, she seemed overwhelmed but always kept pouring our mimosas and water. The plates sat on our table a bit too long that we placed them on the table next to us. We walked outside to the gardens and it was beautiful, very lush. They had live music. This lady had the voice of an angel, it was Brazilian music. The whole time I thought it was a recording. We went to the pool area that had live fish. We dipped our feet in since the fish they have are the ones that eat your dead skin that salons use for pedicures. Good experience to do at least once. SAVEUP!

My husband treated me to the Sundy House for Mother’s Day Brunch yesterday, ranking in my top five Mother’s Day Brunches of all time! The surroundings — WOW! The gardens, the cenote, the fish, the fruit trees — all of it creates a wonderland where guests are seated in and around the environ to add to the experience. We arrived about 25 minutes early for our Noon reservation and spent that time strolling the pathways and the little bridges just to take in the beauty that would soon surround us during our meal. It was truly gorgeous. Our two-person table was situated adjacent to a stream where we watched fish and turtles swimming around the entire two hours we enjoyed our meal. The buffet itself was substantial, offering everything from a carving station for the meat-eaters to an omelet station, waffles, crepes(including bananas foster!), raw bar, various salads, traditional breakfast items, quiches, a couple of different benedicts, Mediterranean offerings, and a large dessert area. To top it off, your choice of mimosas, bellinis, or bloody marys are just an ask away. All is included, but keep in mind it’s not cheap — $ 95/person(all in, including the auto 20% gratuity and taxes) gets you access to this fantastic buffet and beautiful atmosphere. We’ll absolutely visit the Sundy House again when we’re looking for a spot for a special meal!

We had a pretty long drive from Miami to Sundy House and my only regret was not staying there so we could do brunch again! I’m an avid lover of sleeping in and good food so brunch is my favorite invention. Sundy House knows how to do brunch! Bottomless mimosas, Bellinis, bloody Mary’s, waffle bar, omelet bar(with lobster as a topping choice!), Crab legs, oysters, shrimp, bagels, croissants, eggs Benedict, potatoes, bacon, fried chicken with honey and truffles… So much more but I’ll stop before I drool. To top it off it’s beautiful surrounded by gardens and gazebos along ponds and bridges — great for coming back to life after barely breathing of how stuffed you are. It’s pretty pricey, about $ 50 per person but I had like 10 mimosas… I think I took advantage. The secret is to drink tea between each plate and let it sit a while, you’ll avoid feeling bloated and hence can eat much more! Can’t wait to go back and explore the cute town and beach next time!
