If your into coffee and tea this is a spot you must check out. It is magical inside, much like the vintage spots you would see In St Augustine Florida. They have over 100 delicious teas in stock, donate to charity and serve top notch coffee & treats.

I love love love this place but I have to give 3 stars because their hours are way too short. They are only open 11 – 5(website is wrong) and I don’t know what is stopping them from adding on, it always seems like it is a thriving little shop whenever I am there. They have a great little gift/shopping area, the best tea I’ve ever had and wonderful, healthy, local treats. Such a find and always a delight, whether sitting inside in the living room style lounge area or outdoors on their gorgeous, tropical deck. Please expand your hours!!!

One of my favorite places to go to grab a quick bite and chill. This tearoom is a blessing to have near my home. I love sticking up on their filtered GoodWater and grabbing spiritual tokens. The staff is wonderful and their assortment of teas is vast.

Love the ambiance of this place! Large selection of loose leaf teas and tasty vegan desserts. The banana chocolate chip cake was so good and the girls at the counter are very helpful :)

A cute little place to hang out and take a break from the rest of Atlantic Ave. They have ample inside and outside seating and all of it is cozy. Their teas are a little pricey but are about the same price you would find at Teavana, but the vibe is a lot better here than Teavana! For food I’ve only had their empanadas but they are homemade and to die for! I wish they had their prices listed because I was a little surprised at my total. However, I will definitely be a new frequent customer here!

Truly an Oasis in South Florida! When you approach Yaxche Tearoom there is instantly a feel of being transported to a magical place off the grid, while being only a short distance to the beach. The energy here is beautiful– great place to grab lunch, spend all day working/studying, or enjoy tea with friends. It is more than just going somewhere to grab tea(you can do that at Starbucks) — it is an experience. When you walk in here, you feel home(not to mention, it is actually in a converted house). Before approaching the area where you order, you are greeted by a small Buddha statue with an uplifting message. Along the walls are tables of crystals, sage, mala beads, dreamcatchers and more(their prices are the best I’ve ever seen on these items). Lining the walls are glass jars of fresh teas that would put any Tevana to shame. On the counter, baked goods that are made with love– all natural ingredients(you can find organic, gluten free and vegan fare here too!). I haven’t had lunch here yet, but the menu looks delicious(it’s small, but what they have sounds great). They will prepare your tea hot or cold and even have Kombucha on tap! The staff are extremely knowledgable and friendly. If you don’t know what you want, tell them and they will help you figure it out! After ordering, you take a number and can sit indoors or out. They bring you your tea and baked goods(they will warm up your baked goods if you’d like too… SOWORTHIT!). The hot tea is presented in a mason jar with a shot glass of honey. Love this place and will be back again and again! Favorites: Kombucha on tap Zucchini Chip Bread(gluten free and vegan) served warm

Everyone was nice and super helpful re what kind of tea to order etc. 1 suggestion I could like to make is to have prices next to food items on the chalkboard menu, and near the desserts. I will admit when I received my total for a tea and a salad I had sticker shock.

This is my favorite place to take friends and family in Delray. A true hidden gem in this town from the hippie décor to the unparalleled customer service, a nice spot to relax and unwind. Reminds me of my younger days!

This place is an oasis! A lovely place to work, meet a friend, have a meeting or just go solo & chill. I love the way it is decorated & has different seating objects. They are so helpful on which teas to try & everyone I’ve had had tasted amazing & felt great. The food is yummy-the empanadas & quiche are my favorites. It’s a great spot to pick up a little gift. I got a nice quote book, journal, decoration for my home, & a copper cup. It’s my favorite place when visiting Delray.

The place has a great atmosphere and great soups. The tea I order, I asked for spearmint and a bit of lavender, but what came was the opposite. Well, I like lavender, then I drunk anyway. The zucchini cake has more chocolate taste than zucchini — so you’ll enjoy if you want a chocolate cake. Furthermore, I thought the prices are kind of expansive.

Hidden little gem. I’ve been going to this place since they’ve been open. Quite and quaint with such soul. They have salads, tamales, empanadas, soups, and tons of great desserts. They have great options for gluten free in case your sensitive like me and not to mention the biggest array of teas to choose from. The girls that work here are super knowledgeable and will help you to find a tea that fits what your looking for or need. And they have the best little gift shop with amazing smelling things for sale, jewelry, and much more. I’ve bought goodies and gift certificates here for my clients and everyone has loved it. Come check it out. Super relaxing space.

Yaxche Tearoom is one of the best hidden gems in Delray. The service, food, and tea are all impeccable. I don’t understand how anyone could review this place poorly, I’ve been coming here since it opened as Shaffer’s Tearoom years ago and have always consistently had wonderful experiences. If you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and grab a healthy bite or cup of uniquely flavored tea, this is the place to go.

I must admit great location, cozy interior & fresh atmosphere only… service could be «little» more friendly! Prices would be welcome for designated products, somehow I didn’t see any…

I really can’t say enough good things about the Tea Shop. It’s as if everyone there knows exactly what your soul needs at that moment.

I came to this place wanting a good cup of hot tea, which I think is a reasonable expectation considering they call themselves a tea house. Most of their«teas» are not actually tea, but rather tisanes, which would be fine if their actual teas were any good. I paid close to $ 6 for a cup of white tea that was frankly undrinkable. I could maybe justify that price if it were served in a pot, but it was just a bag of tea in hot water. The server didn’t even tell me how long the leaves had been steeping. I ended up not drinking the tea it was so bad. This doesn’t seem like a bad place to chill with friends, but the tea(their namesake) was bad and overpriced. I won’t be returning.

I really liked this place when I first started coming, their tea is amazing I have nothing to say about that but what happened last time I came in for lunch was ridiculous. I ordered an avocado toast for 14 dollars and the owner cut off the sides of the bread to make it smaller. I had previously gotten the toast and it was a normal size. I am willing to pay for something if it is worth paying for. Cutting off the sides of the bread? I am only giving them 2 stars because I do love their tea but I don’t think I’ll be ordering food again. **they have fixed the problem with the toast so I have changed my review to 5 stars :)

The cutest! Hard to find but a gem when you do. I saw their Facebook page a few months back and couldn’t wait to try it. Shaffer’s is located nestled off the Ave and in a funky colored house with eclectic furniture and a patio. I arrived just 20 minutes before closing and the staff was super helpful and didn’t seem rushed at all. Over 100 different teas to choose from and your host will guide through to help find what kind of tea you want. They have so many different flavors, caffeine levels, & wellness additions — and they can concoct any mixture that you dream up. I had a lightly iced Happy Buddha tea mixed with a tea that’s good for your skin — it was so delicious and I can’t wait to go back for more(especially when I can lounge in their comfy chairs!). I would also love to try some of their treats on display — cookies, cakes, etc. — as they all looked great and not over-the-top bad for you! Will be back for sure.

Let me be honest with y’all. Sure, I’ve noticed the flurry of tea-centric shops sprouting around us but have I fully embraced? No. At the end of the day, if I’m in the mood for tea/coffee, a strong caffeine-packed cold brew is always going to win. That’s how I felt until I visited Shaffer’s Tearoom. I was only on the lookout for a spot to get some work done but I left a changed woman! If it’s your first time, your face of wonderment will most likely reveal your naiveness and whoever is behind the counter will be quick to let you in on what’s going down here. They have a very large selection of teas in a wide variety of flavors. All can be made hot or iced. What else is important? They use something called Good Water which is a very pure form of water and reflects their business focus of providing clean water across the planet. For eats, they have a menu of empanadas, sandwiches, salads, and an enticing array of baked goods from local bakeries. I had no idea of what I wanted so provided some guidance of a «green tea,» and was given three to sniff. I landed on an iced Goji Goddess and got a caramel toffee square because I just couldn’t resist. Total came to about $ 10. Pricey for tea and a treat? Maybe. But it’s clear this is high quality. Also, the tea bag is pretty large so if you’re hanging out at the shop, you can ask for more water to re-steep your tea as you hang out. The best part of all? I felt more rejuvenated after hanging out here than I did at a coffee shop! Seriously. Long story short, if you’re like me and maybe afraid to ditch your latte for trendy tea, just go ahead and give it a try. You just might enjoy it!

I also want to give Shaffer’s tearoom a five star review. Because, well, they’ve earned it. And more importantly, I don’t want to be that guy that DOESN’T give the five stars. Mix equal parts of great people, awesome tea and food, hippie comune vibe, a healthy potion of comfort, and you have Shaffer’s. I came here after passing by with my gf(ghoulfriend for those wondering) and having her tell me briefly what the cute multi-colored house had going on. The tea we both tried was named«Heaven» and it was spot on. It smelled just like what Heaven is supposed to smell like, freshly baked cake. I could go on and on about Shaffer’s, but my fingers are cramping up. Just go and enjoy every aspect of Shaffer’s. You won’t be disappointed.
