Riverside, CA
Stop here for happy hour! 4pm-​7pm .99 cents RAW BAR! Oyster, clams, & shrimp cocktail!!! I didn’t want to take a picture. We are from California and I didn’t want to have a reminder of what I will be missing when we head back home. Order pizza for kids. And husband and I share a seafood mix platter. Will be back when and if we visit Cape Cod again

Stuffed quahogs were amazing. Wings were small and 1 is one half of the two pieces. Pizza was ok, the sauce was very sweet. As far and environment total dive bar, had a horrible music act, a flock of Cougars and a $ 5 cover charge. If we didn’t get there before they started charging we would’ve went elsewhere. If your looking for a dumpy place to just get trashed this is your place.

My daughter loves the kids karaōke and we love the food! The 99 cent oysters, little necks and shrimp that they have every night are amazing but don’t forget to bring cash for the raw bar. We also ordered steamers and fish and chips which were really good too!

Went with my husband, 17 month old, and two of his coworkers. The wait to get in wasn’t bad, they do monitor capacity, we were there around 6:30, there was a very long line when we left at 8:30. Very much a bar atmosphere by the time we got there. Very good live music, however it’s very loud so you have to yell to be heard. My daughter didn’t seem to care much, she rocked out all the same and everyone was very friendly towards her. The food took a while to come out and was good. Also seemed our waitress had a lot of area to cover however she was generally good about getting to us. My husband and I had burgers which were very large. Just be careful if ordering the Rueben, it’s actually a fish rueben so his coworker had to wait double long for dinner and just took it to go. It isn’t the cleanest places but where there is a baby there are baby wipes so we were ok.

Hard to beat the happy hour raw bar for $.99! Great drinks and the food is pretty good. The only precaution would be ‘Kid Karaōke’ that is Monday — Wednesday from 5 – 8 :-). Really fun for the kids, just not your ears haha. But overall a great place with nightly music/​entertainment!

Came in late on a Wed night, about 9:30pm for a pizza. Kitchen closes at 10pm. Ordered a bucket of beer (5 for price of 4) and a sausage and onion pizza. Food came fast and was good. I like the chewy crust! The place was a nice busy, not too loud but had a good vibe. Very casual but not a dive. Nice large tvs to watch the ballgame. Good music, no live band tonight although I hear there’s music every night and there’s a little stage so they are definitely set up for music. They serve sangria too. I didn’t try it but I hear it’s great! Will have to come back again and try it.

This was close to our cottage so we stopped for a quick lunch. There was one waitress, a bartender and kitchen staff. The waitress was quick to greet us with menus and even to get our drinks. But after placing our orders we waited 35 mins for our food. Just pub food (burgers, chicken fingers). Drinks went dry.
But the food was good. The atmosphere was pleasant. And even though the waitress was completely in over her head with tables, she was pleasant when we saw her. Not sure if I’d come back, or maybe next time allot more than an hour for our lunch.

1. the food is always amazing.
2. the drinks are strong and they keep em coming fast.
3. The day and night crowd are completely different. During the day it’s a family-​ish restaurant but at night it’s a bar.
4. I had my wedding reception here and they took FANTASTIC care of me on my special day.

Love the Sand Dollar. On a one week vacation, we came here almost everyday! Live entertainment every night, wicked good drinks, reasonable prices. French fries are delish! Happy hour raw bar. Good, friendly service! Definetly on the divey-​side, but it’s not trashy at all. Only downfalls, a little small and the fried seafood was a bit bland, but other than that a great time! I would highly recommend.

Cool thing for the kids Mon to weds kids happy hour with karaōke 9 dollars all u can eat Mac n cheese French fries pizza cheese sticks on a fresibe plate. the kids get a chance to sing a song.

There was a cover charge – which seemed weird for this kind of a place.
Nice bartender, though!
We left once it got a little later because the crowd turned from a 20s-​30s crowd to a weird college crowd.

Really fun summer bar. Waitresses are very nice and provide great service. Live music yesterday was very good. The bar has a very relaxed feel and was perfect on a Saturday afternoon!

We live relatively close to the Sand Dollar and it is our go to place for drinks. You will find everyone here, from elderly locals to tourists to the regulars (like us) who come in every few days for good conversation and beer. The pizza is one of our favorite things to get here and the happy hour raw bar between 4 and 7 is really great. The bartenders and waitstaff are always friendly and we never seem to want for anything. This place is great for a night out or for a stop after a long day at the beach. Another good thing is the drinks aren’t overpriced, which is something you tend to find on the cape in the summer. The Sand Dollar Punch is one of the best drinks around! The fairly new owner, Terry, is friendly and welcoming. He cares about his business and makes sure that his customers are happy.

What kind of bar has their bar backs serving alcohol, disappearing, and then accusing their patrons of trying to steal drinks?
This one.
Female bartender accused myself and my friends of trying to steal drinks after we had spent close to 10minutes for someone to cash us out, AND asking ANOTHER person behind the bar to cash us out, who refused.
Absolutely ridiculous. I am sorry that the female bartender clearly has no skill at her job what-​so-​ever, but it’s not the patrons’ fault she can’t handle the stress and the other workers have no idea what is going on.
Awful, awful place.
