I sat at the bar for dinner with my father and had such a terrific experience. Camilla and Kim were both so friendly and knowledgable about the menu and gave us great suggestions. This has got to be my new favorite spot on the cape. I’ll be back!

On a recommendation we visited this establishment recently. There were 3 of us dining and all 3 were really happy with our meals and our service. I had an issue with a martini I ordered being not quite what I expected. The waitress listened to my request and made the alteration quickly and to my satisfaction. We will surely return here in the future. As an aside, though I do not like raw oysters my brother who is a connoisseur stated that the ones that he had were fantastic!

The oyster company’s food is solid. The new england clam chowda is very good, tasty with nice chunks of clam. The oysters are fresh. Service was excellent. Dining inside or out. A limited beer selection on tap(maybe 6 brews)

Pat, the hostess, is a gem. Be prepared to be called«hun» but only Pat can get away with it. The place is LOUD. The place is packed. They serve up fresh raw bar. Come before 6:30 for 1.25 oysters. I chose succulent Little Necks. The rest of the food is so so. Honestly, they try but I just can’t seem to love the food. It’s «almost there» but not quite. The rolls are hard and not tasty. They serve club soda vs seltzer and when you ask for seltzer or Pellagrino, they insist club soda is the same. Our server was casual in her approach and attentive. Did I say it’s loud. My friends love it. I like it enough to go once every 5 years.

Went in around 5:30 to have a couple drinks and appetizers after a day of shopping and relaxing. Got seated right outside on a gorgeous day. Waitress was friendly and service was prompt. Delicious food. Had the sashimi oysters and Portuguese mussels. Wow! Great drinks and half price mussels before 6:30 too!

Again… We always have to make a stop here. It’s just a go to. I wish we could try other restaurants around the area, but I always have to get a dozen oysters to share from here. This time around, we got the $ 1.25 oysters to share. And then the Oyster Company Cioppino and Coconut and Cashew Roasted Atlantic Salmon Filet. I don’t even know where to start… But let’s just say we finished both plates between the two of us in a very very short time! The Cioppino is just full of seafood and the lobster saffron sauce is perfect for the linguine. We slurped that linguine right up. Ask for more bread… Because why not? And of course to dip the bread into the sauce. Duh. The salmon filet crust was SOGOOD. They were generous with the mango-soy butter. And the crust of coconut and cashew was slightly sweet. The salmon was cooked perfectly. The risotto was delicious — scallions were fresh. If I could eat this meal all over again. I would. Of course. There always next year :)

Favorite Cape dining experience so far. This gem is hidden in an unsuspecting building with a great patio and warm inviting interior. Our party of two had not made a reservation, but still received prompt service at the raw bar. All staff we encountered were friendly and our server graciously helped us navigate the menu. The fresh out of the oven bread and daily made«hummus spread» started our meal off in the right direction. Hummus was full of rich garlic flavor without the pungent bite. I had the coconut/Thai salmon which came in an almost overwhelming portion. Very tender and perfectly seasoned. The chive risotto was lacking but paired decently with grilled asparagus. My friend had the baked seafood«Casino», which came out in a large casserole dish filled to the brim with chunks of delicious salmon, cod, scallops and shrimp. It was a little too rich for my taste and I found the bacon on top to be a bit off. Her dish was served with rice pilaf and steamed veggies, a plate large enough to split. Overall best Cape dinner experience, great food, drinks(wine with a heavy pour), and large portion sizes. Since it’s off the beaten path, it was not plagued by large«tourist parties» or screaming children.

One of my favorites restaurant in cape cod. Although it sounds like a restaurant that offers many variations of oyster, they only offer one that isn’t very good and instead offer seafood made with influences from multiple cuisines like Mexican(quesadilla, margaritas), Thailand(Bangkok mussels, lettuce wraps), Japanese(sashimi oysters, kobe sliders), Appetizers(we went crazy): **Oysters — they only have one option which is their ‘signature’ Quivet neck for $ 2.25 each. Advertised as plump, arrived as pathetic. **Sashimi oysters — comes in half dozen. Not as great as I imagined it would be. **Bangkok mussels — OMG this sauce is the best thing I have ever tasted with mussels **Lobster quesadilla — generous amount of lobster and side guac! Entrees: **The Oyster Company Cioppino — ½ fresh lobster tail, dayboat scallops, shrimp, mussels, & Chatham little necks in a lobster saffron sauce with leeks, served over linguini; great seafood sampler and linguini! **Bacon-Wrapped Fresh Monkfish«Cassoulet» — I personally thought the monkfish was a bit tough and didn’t like the beans in comparison to all the other seafood options Drinks: **Hot & Dirty Martini — very spicy and tasted like worchestershire sauce **Elderflower Smash **Pineapple upside down — so sweet and tasted just like the cake The food was absolutely delicious, especially the bread/hummus that came with the food and Bangkok mussels sauce! The service was a little bit lacking. We arrived around 9PM which is quite late and our waitress acted very tired and bored the whole time. She immediately asked us what drinks we wanted and when we asked for a few minutes, she took enough time that we had settled on drinks, appetizers and entrees. However, when she stopped by again, she quickly took the drink orders and left before we could say anything! We were seated outside, which I would definitely recommend on a nice day because there are beautiful hedges and lights.

What a great meal and experience at The Oyster Company. I called two days in advance to make a reservation for our party of 13 and when we arrived they were set up and ready for us. This is a great place for anyone — people looking to hang at the bar(but note that the bar area is not very large), couples, or families. It’s a fairly loud restaurant, so don’t go if you’re looking for quiet conversation. Our party had four kids ages 3, 5, 10 and 10. There was paper over the tables and the young kids got markers and crayons. The kid’s menu had enough variety and their food came first. The oysters were very good, although they were running a little slow on getting them out because the place was packed. The mussels appetizer was amazing, and everyone gave high remarks for their meals including the native lobster, the monkfish cassoulet, the Cioppino. The drinks were good and I highly recommend the Cucumber Fizz made with freshly pressed cucumber juice. Overall we loved it and plan to be back next year!

Great place we got lucky to get a table without reservation! We were looking for good food in Cape Cod, it was. We got the Bangkok Mussels and was delicious and went straight down to business after this… If you want an excellent waitress, ask for Mary. Great oysters!

Nice atmosphere and a popular spot; nearly filled at 5:45 p.m.(Good thing we have a reservation). Everyone enjoyed their entrees; Cioppino(no fish or squid, just all shellfish which is fine by me) served over linguine(could use some tomatoes in this stew), cashew crusted salmon, & Kobe beef sliders with fries. Seafood is fresh & delicious; most entrees lean towards having an Italian flair. Service is friendly and exceptional. There’s outdoor seating if you feel like dining alfresco.

Food was amazing! Got the rib eye and ordered off the secret menu. The servers were absolutely fantastic. They made the meal that much more enjoyable. Highly recommended and we may go back this week.

As a belated birthday present, the in-laws gifted a fair amount of cash and offered to babysit while the wife and I went out for a romantic get away. Wanting something fancy and not too fancy, decided on the Oyster Company because of their interesting menu options. The craft cocktails were great. I had a blackberry old fashioned which was loaded with blackberries, that didn’t over power the sweetness and the booziness of the bourbon. Started with 6 oysters, ceaser salads with anchovies added. Both fresh tasting. The wife ordered the cioppino, which deviated from tradition and was more of the broth on top of pasta. It came loaded with seafood. I ordered the seafood casino style bake that contained with generous portions of haddock, salmon, shrimp and scallops and slices of bacon. Again, everything was fresh and delicious. The accompany side of rice pilaf and sauteed vegetables, were more of an after thought and were remarkably under seasoned, with the rice being over cooked. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but will definitely be back.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. Had a great dinner with my family last night. My brother and I shared the Oysters Rockefeller which were delicious. I then had the clam chowder, which was clearly homemade, light and tasty with a hint of thyme, it was not the gluey glop that you often find places passing off as clam Chowder. This might be the best chowder in the area. For main meals my brother got a special with steak and a crab cake, my mom got the clams and linguini, my SIL got the lobster quesadilla and I got the house salad with fried oysters. Not a single complaint, everything was tasty and fresh. Waitstaff was wonderful with the two young children we had, accommodated us by bringing their meals out first, a great night out.

The hostess was more than friendly and helpful. She was so sweet! We didn’t wait for long on a Saturday evening and our server was over almost immediately after we sat. We decided on pallea and a seafood pasta dish. Everything was fresh, hot and delicious. The shellfish was everything I was hoping for. Definitely worth the price!

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We have now gone three times and it seems to get better each time. We were dining with four children and the staff could not be more accommodating. They have a great bar menu with lots of specialty drinks. I suggest the Elder Flower. It is a combination of Bombay Sapphire, muddled mint, lime juice. I highly recommend the raw oysters and bbq oysters, they are awesome! If you get there before 6:30 they are $ 1.25 each! For my entrée I had the wasabi encrusted tuna which was phenomenal. The tuna was caught locally which makes a huge difference. It was paired with risotto and julienne green beans. Superb! You will definitely need a reservation to enjoy this fine establishment but well worth it.

Very nice seafood restaurant! The food was amazing, we had super fresh oysters and a seafood pasta, which was full of lobster, mussels, clams, prawns and more. Perfectly made and presented. If you’re into seafood, I’d say you cannot go wrong with this place. Service was very nice and the place gives a good feeling ;) I would come again !

All the restaurants here have been good, but this place blows them all out of the water! We went here before 6:30, so oysters were only $ 1.25 a piece rather than their normal $ 2. They have their own oyster farm and they were so fresh tasting! I had their fixed special for $ 28 I believe– chowded, lobster and spinich stuffed flounder filet and a cherry chocolate pudding pie for dessert. Since we are from out of town, this whole trip we have been relying on Unilocal to tell us where to go and I’ve found that someone everywhere normly says the restaurant they are reviewing has the chowder, but this place truly does. Its almost a chowder/bisque mix and it was TODIEFOR! My entrée and dessert was delicious too! The waitress was friendly and on top of her game and the owner came by to make sure everything was good! Seriously, I can’t say enough about this place! You def need to try it!
