Kids thought this beach was awesome because we walked and walked out during low tide. They saw many hermit crabs and played in the sand. There’s nothing just beach so plan to bring all your necessities.

We drove through the flats today, heading towards the river where we found Cape Cod Bliss. The setting is serene and the river was fantastic for tubing and swimming. What a perfect day!

Pretty sick beach. Our friend brought us here to have a nice weekend out. We had lots of food and drinks packed up as well as a football and frisbee to play. Although it was pretty windy and cold, we had a good time. Make sure you don’t step on rocks since there is plenty. Also, come on a low tide day so you can walk out pretty far and take sick photos.

Want a tip? Get a tide schedule and check for low tide after 4:30PM(that’s when they stop charging for parking at all Dennis Beaches). Parking lot with be mostly empty. There is nothing like walking Chapin Beach at low tide at sunset. It’s absolutely spectacular. You can walk for miles in the white sand. Another tip? There are rocks at the shore line. Pay attention and you will see some paths that your bare feet will thank you for finding. Another tip? Bring some dinner(take out pizza?), chairs and a table and have yourself a picnic with some of the best views on the Cape. Want to go during the day in season? Get there early because the lot is small and will fill up from overflow at Mayflower. Personally, we prefer it over Mayflower because there is more space and it’s not as crowded. The critter hunting is not as good as Corporation Beach, but it’s much better than Mayflower. Warned, there are only porta-potties.

What an absolutely perfect place to watch the sunset. You can walk soooo far out when it’s low tide. The tide pools are beautiful. If you walk a bit you can have some beach to yourself. I haven’t been here during the day yet but I’d imagine it would be pretty as well.

Great white sand beach!!! Not a far walk from parking lot to beach. The bathroom & snack stand were clean… Water was clear and clean… Great tide pools for kids to play around in… Bring your net to scoop up the multitude of minnows around your ankles! Wicked place !!

Great beach just watch the tide and dont be those people that get there stuffed flooded by the incoming tide. $ 25 to park, the lot is small so go early. A Good 2nd option to the crowded Mayflower Beach.

What a beautiful beach! No rocks, warmish water, nice white sand. There is a snackbar and bathrooms. $ 20 to park, but worth ir.

Beautiful beach. Small amount of parking though. Be prepared for a hike if you want to play in the ocean waves. There’s a huge tidal pool of warm water to play in, but the ocean seemed like at least a quarter mile walk from the edge of the tide pool before I found waves. The beach itself is pristine. Great place for young kids as there is lots of wild life and the tide pool lets them get in the water without the dangers of waves and currents. I’d go here again.

We love Chapin Beach in Dennis — almost as much as we love Mayflower Beach right next door. This pristine tidal flat beach, is teeming with wildlife and a great place to bring the family, dogs and kids.(Dogs must be leashed and after hours in-season) No snack bar or bath-house here — but who cares? It’s a great, great beach.
