The sausage broccoli rabi ravioli app was to die for. The atmosphere, the bartender and our waitress Marianne were the best. The veal scallopini dinner was awesome! If you go to the cape you have to give this place a try. Be prepared for a wait time but worth the wait.

***Visited Sunday Sept.6th*** I just don’t hand out 5 stars! Gina’s by the Sea deserves it 100%! I’ve been visiting Gina’s every summer since I remember, late ‘80s. Having dinners there multiple times each summer. We ALWAYS getting mussels and garlic bread, two each. Then have either chicken or veal parm. Garlic pasts with caesar salad. I’ve never had a bad meal at Ginas. Both the chicken and veal parms are made there. They don’t buy frozen and just reheat. Gina’s by the Sea is defiantly on my Top 10 best restaurants I’ve ever been to! Good Luck –T

This is a real hidden jewel. You would think being so close to the ocean it would be more a seafood restaurant but this place is right out of Boston’s North End. Me and my wife got the Shrimp Scampi. 7 huge shrimp over a delicious pasta and sauce. We used the fresh crispy bread they served to clean the plate. We also got the muscles marinara, the most tender muscles I ever had with a delicious garlic, wine, and tomato sauce. Service was very friendly. Depending on the time of day you may have to wait a little, but worth it.

Heard great things about this place. Hard to get in and it is pricey. When finally we were able to have dinner how disappointing. Food was bland. I don’t know if they have heard of seasoning. I honestly don’t know what the fuss is. There are two other restaurants near by making their own pasta and cooking meals to order. My advice, skip Ginas.

Start to finish a fabulous experience. From the valet who was super friendly to the muscles marinara to our fabulous and friendly waitress it was a great experience. Highly recommend over other local haunts.

I recently went to Gina’s by the Sea with my family on our annual vacation to Cape Cod. We wanted somewhere special for our last«big dinner» on the Cape, so we opted for this place. Unfortunately. First off, it’s not by the sea. The water is somewhere behind buildings and a gravel parking lot that holds, at most, maybe fifteen cars. Upon arrival, we couldn’t figure out if they parked our cars for us or if we did it ourselves, so we went to ask the man standing in the middle of the parking lot, assuming he worked there. Before we could even get the words out, he looked at my boyfriend and demanded, «Where are you going? You coming here? You need to put a shirt on over what you’re wearing or you’re not allowed in.» My boyfriend was wearing a nice, expensive Nike muscle shirt. We didn’t think anything of it, seeing as we rented a place only a street away, and went home to change. Little did I know he also yelled at my sister-in-law for not parking correctly while we were gone. He was very cordial and friendly when we returned, and offered to even park our car, but that didn’t make up for anything. Once inside, Gina’s «by the Sea» is actually a s*** dive bar and restaurant. There’s no way they could even BEGIN to enforce a dress code there — it’s so dark that you can’t see when you walk in. They were making a big deal out of putting tables together for all of us to sit down, so we ended up cramped in a dark corner at separate tables. The menu is written in some calligraphy that’s barely legible, and the range of the menu was hardly anything special. They barely had seafood, the Italian items were ordinary, and they couldn’t remove a certain item from a special for me because they were«pre-prepared.» Having a brother and sister-in-law that work in a restaurant, they found that hard to believe and not good service. When the food came, my brother asked for a steak knife because he’d ordered the filet. The waitress got indignant and said, «Nobody’s asked for one before.» What kind of restaurant doesn’t supply silverware to their customers? And what kind of restaurant gets offended when the customer asks for one? The food, as limited as it was, was delicious. At least the cook knows what he’s doing. All in all, I wasn’t impressed. Gina’s by the Sea will never«sea» us again. I’d rather eat at Gina’s by the Sewage Plant — at least there’d be a better view.

Had to arrive at 4:30 pm to have dinner for 8 at one table — so dark we couldn’t read the menu without an I phone flashlight. We were placed next to the kitchen door which was continually swinging in and out. Waitress was fantastic and knowledgeable — food was fantastic– ambiance needed work.

Okay. So. I had no idea what to expect. Someone recommended this restaurant to me. I thought it was going to be a seafood place since it was right near the ocean. It was an Italian restaurant. There was a 45 minute wait, but it only took half hour. Everyone was very friendly. The food was great. I ordered the Spaghetti and meatballs. My husband said«don’t do that, it’ll never be like GG’s.»(my grandmother). But I did it and they were delicious! I’ll go back. Again and again. You should too. Then go watch a gorgeous Cape Cod sunset.

Gina’s by the Sea never, ever disappoints. The seaside location, nestled behind the sand dunes of Chapin Beach(which I find to be one of the most gorgeous beaches in the U.S.) makes this place special. There is a cozy, candlelit bar when you walk in and since no reservations, generally a long wait, which is fine by me because the bar is so great. Lou, the bartender, is the man. The dining room ambiance is simply beautiful with evening light streaming in. This place has been open for decades and from what I can tell they have not made many changes — this must be because the food is simply exquisite. My go to is the chicken parm with pasta and meat sauce. For apps, there is an incredible array of fresh seafood and delicious small plates. Oh, and don’t forget to get the garlic bread — very good. The specials are always plentiful, fresh and top notch. If you enjoy true New England clam chowder, be sure to order that if its on the specials list, it is one of the best I’ve ever had. Waitstaff have been there for many years and they are kind, attentive and extremely knowledgable. Can’t wait to come back here again soon.

OMG, the eggplant parm recipe is the bomb. It’s stacked thick like lasagna bursting with flavor. The moist layers are covered in a nice flavorful marinara. The garlic bread is soaked in salty garlicky goodness. We had a carafe of Mezzacarona for 24. That’s 7 glasses. What a deal. Our waitress, Marguerite, was attentive but did not hover. The busgirl replenished our water throughout our meal. We prefer sitting outside al fresco. The scampi was lovely as was the chicken parm. Mrs. Reilly’s chocolate rum cake finished off a perfect meal. Get there at 5 or 8, otherwise you might have to wait a bit. Thanks to Eddy, the valet. Such a great guy…

Great food, super friendly staff. Just had veal parm and wife had shrimp scampi dinner and had plenty to take home. I love this place and noticed everyone on staffs not only helps each other but thanks each other along the way. Will be back for more.

Ginas has been a family favorite for 60 years. I have been coming here since I was a little girl and it is the absolute best restaurant. I always get the stuffed shells and they are so creamy and delicious, you can’t get them like that anywhere else. The salad dressing is also great! There’s always a wait but that’s because it’s so good and it’s worth the wait. Love this place!

Toward the ocean, right near the water is this quaint Italian restaurant. Sat at the bar. From what I heard from chatter it is always crowded And no reservations. Seems if you want to eat here it is either early or late. I had the chicken parmigiana with spaghetti and a glass of Cabernet. It was okay. Salad was fresh and dressing was good. Seems like there are no options when it came to the pasta or salad dressing. Marinara sauce was good but not enough of it spread over the chicken. Same with The cheese that was scantily vs. draped over the chicken generously. The Cabernet had a bite to it that was not to my tasting. Left much of my wine in the glass. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. Would I go back, maybe but it will be awhile.

Make sure to pay with cash. We had a great meal there Friday 7⁄25 but we were a few dollars short with cash so we used our debit card rather than giving less than a 20% tip. We should have given 15% and paid with cash. Our card has been charged 3 times. ALWAYS USE CASH

Was looking forward to eating at Gina’s By The Sea. Unfortunately, the owner is a complete a*&#$@%. Couldn’t find parking at the beach, and since it’s Wednesday, and Gina’s isn’t open until tomorrow, I thought I would ask if I could pay them to park there. I started to ask«Is there any way» and before I could even finish my sentence, Larry says«ABSOLUTELYNOT, you don’t have enough money, and don’t even think about asking anyone else on this street.» I don’t know what the heck Larry’s problem was, but he didn’t have to act like that. I will not be taking my family here now knowing how much of a d&*@ Larry is.

Always a great meal. I have been coming to Gina’s every summer for the past 8 years. It’s always crowd and always a good crowd. The servers and staff are great people, always nice and always accommodating. As we speak I am sitting at the bar in the corner with the only outlet available to use for a dying phone. As soon as I asked they sent me right to it. No questions asked. The food is great and the people are even better! Definitely one to add to the list if you haven’t gone yet!

Very cozy lil’ place almost on the beach in Dennis. Decent Italian food… I had the short rib ravioli and it was very good. Old time Cape décor(wood paneling, low ceilings and lighting etc…) a little pricey in the off season I thought.

I always look forward to Gina’s during my annual visit home to the Cape. Veal parmigiana is just like home made, I am stuck on it. A little pricey, quite old and comfortable, but, worth every penny. Try it you’ll LOVE it

I like this place for good basic Italian food in a casual atmosphere. Like a lot of places on the Cape this place was probably opened 30+ years ago and hasn’t been updated since. It gives the place character or something like that. But it’s a good place and I like it. Nothing fancy basic Italian fare here but it’s tasty and not expensive. I have no idea why this place has three dollar signs on Unilocal. Two is more like it. Crowd includes just about everyone and is ok for kids. Jeans, shorts, t-shirts all fine. When it’s busy they will valet your car. People are nice and service is decent.
