AA Shuttle & Taxi Service

We called this company because we were literally stranded and needed a ride to a gas station. After being treated like dirt in the phone and basically called a liar, we were hung up on. Chivalry is dead.

I would give 0 stars of I could. We have uaed this taxi service since 2009 and they have gotten worse. In the past couple of weeks,.the manager and owner have screamed at me, at different times. The owner screamed that I wasn’t at the place I said I was. The driver went to the wrong hotel. Did the owner call back and apoligize? No! The manager screamed because we were moving from one hotel to another, and he thought we were moving too many things! We tipped the driver to compensate.
Their cars are dangerous. They never repair them until they stop. They buy cop cars that the police are retiring! The owner is the cheapest man.
The end for. them was when I waited over an hour because the driver went to the wrong place. Then I was stranded there. When I called, the owner
would be about two hours.
I PLAN TO NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE AND I HOPE YOU WONT EITHER!

Drivers were polite and professional. Price extremely reasonable

Would use again and recommend

Worst taxi service I have ever dealt with, when I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the owner but refused to give me his name and hung up. Buyer beware, if you have the option go somewhere else.

I called them repeatedly for over an hour this morning and no one picked up the phone. «Consistently inconsistent» is the best way to describe this company. Sometimes they do answer the phone, and sometime’s they’re great. Just as often, they don’t pick up when you call, or your wait time is ridiculously long. I only call these people as an absolute last resort, which is my recommendation for anyone else needing transportation in Denton.

Called to get a ride from the hotel to a local bar when we were visiting Denton, it was 12:30 am and the lady who answered felt it necessary to remind me in a condescending manner that the establishments close at 2, I told her I was aware of that and she said we can «probably» get someone over there in 30 minutes or so… in a rude tone. Needless to say, we declined the lift. Why 30 minutes? It doesn’t take that long to drive from one side of town to the other. It’s Denton Tx not NYC regardless of what the hipsters there think.

AA Taxi service saved me last week when I needed a very last minute ride to the airport. I called them up and thankfully they were able to come within 10 minutes and whisk me away. Generally it is advised to call 1 day in advance for a trip like that but they were able to help me out. The driver was very nice. The rate of $ 60 is steep but I doubt you will find anything cheaper. (I had investigated Super Shuttle and the best they could offer was $ 55 and that involved a trip combined with others.) Note that the credit card machine apparently does not always work so in my case I had to stop by at an ATM en route. That’s my only real complaint with the service.
