The menu is large, different from normal bar food and the food is tasty. We had a great waitress too! Definitely going back again! A little pricey, especially mixed drinks. Although, the atmosphere is classy, yet still kid friendly.

The menu(food and drinks) is huge! Service was great and we had a nice time. Jakob was a great server(June 2016)

I’ve been here at least 10 times since they’ve opened, and I finally realized that I had no reason to go back. I have yet to find a dish on the menu that isn’t remarkably bland. Sadly, the food is not half as bland as the service. I’m fairly certain that one of the requirements to serve at this restaurant is to have as little personality as possible. Even a rude server would be an appetizing breath of fresh air in this drab Bermuda triangle of sad service staff. The pizza is probably the best menu item even though it’s about 80% crust, 20% toppings. This location doesn’t offer the thin crust pizza option that the nearby Lewisville location offers so prepare to chew some bread. They do offer an extremely thin«Tavern Cut» pizza on which the ratios are a little bit better. I’d say this one’s about 35% topping, 10% crust, and 55% I’m still hungry. All things considered, I just couldn’t possibly recommend it.

I like the variety they have on their menu, you have to be a picky eater to not find anything you like on their menu. Their Atlantic salmon is one of my favorite dishes here. Really good flavors and it’s supposedly not farmed which is great. They sometimes get a little busy at night but they usually get you a table pretty quickly.

I have never had a bad experience at this location. I mostly sit in the cocktail area, and the servers were always helpful with honest opinions of the food. Everyone is friendly and food is good.

We were there to celebrate birthdays for my daughter and my husband. The food was great as was our waitress; she even reminded us that they got free deserts for their birthdays!

If you are gluten free avoid this place. I have given up on all BJs because of cross contamination issues. The service here has typically been subpar as well. If you can have gluten and don’t mind crappy service head on in.

BJs Brewhouse is a staple favorite of our family since we first moved to DENTON over a year ago. The food is great, atmosphere is family friendly yet great for a couples night out. The staff is always pleasant and courteous. Consistently a great experience every time we visit which is why we keep coming back.

Our server Joi D was amazing. Very pleasant and sweet. Both me and my husband got the Ahi Tuna salad, and at first we thought there was less tuna on it until we realized it was just cut thicker.(We assume it’s portioned or weighed out per plate.) We both agreed we liked it better cut thicker, it seemed to have a better taste that way. Anyway. Great job, we love eating at our Denton location and it’s amazing every time and we are never disappointed! Thanks for the coupons too!

Monique took great care of our order. The food was delicious as always. The BOGO coupon made it even better. We always enjoy this welcoming place where the food is consistently delicious and the menu gives us plenty of choices. It’s not always easy to find a delicious bison burger, but BJ’s delivers every time!

I really like BJ’s the service and food are always very good and very consistent. They have a huge menu. They make really good pepparoni pizza and also a great selection of salads. The blackened fish taco’s are one of my favorite selections. Great selection of craft beers as well. If you go there for lunch, get there early they are always packed.

We visited this restaurant for lunch. We were promptly seated in a booth. Waited on immediately. Ordered drinks and appetizer which were great! The atmosphere was nice. The location of this restaurant is very convenient right off of Highway 35E S. In Denton. I know BJ’s can get very busy for dinner service this restaurant has ample parking for those busy times. I would highly recommend visiting this particular BJ’s.

I feel like the rather low rating of this restaurant reflects the typical Unilocal bias against franchises and chains. This location in particular has stellar service and an awesome atmosphere. No need for me to recommend one dish or another, pick anything. They’ve been serving the same menu for quite some time now and have perfected the food as much as is possible at the price point offered. The place is packed virtually every night. Obviously there are hundreds of satisfied repeat customers. I’m one of them.

Couldn’t get the order right, waited for ever for simple things like water & silverware & apparently if you have two Sprite tickets at one table your only allowed to redeem your online coupons?! In small print

This place is great. The food is a little pricey, but you’re paying for quality. The staff is always super nice, friendly, and cordial. The beers that they brew themselves are the best.

Nice location next to cinemark 14. Food is a bit pricy but worth the price along with the sheer variety of drinks. Kinda crowded on weekends, but the have a nice texting system in place to compensate.

The Long Island ice tea was amazing. So was the home brewed cream soda. I loved the calamari, husband wasn’t crazy about it. The reason I’m only giving two stars, it took 15 mins to even order drinks and appetizers, another 15 mins to order two cheeseburgers and then over an hour to actually get our orders. We never received our food before we talked to manager to cancel our orders. We plan on trying it again, next time when we’ve got more time to spare, but we ended up late to our movie.

The menu has a lot of variety. They’re a brewhouse, so half the menu is alcohol. Still, there are a few well behaved kids, and they fit in fine. For this visit, I ordered blackened salmon. The waitress was very knowledgeable, and made a good recommendation. The salmon was properly cooked, and had great flavor. I’ve tried several places, and everywhere else has been overcooked. Here, it’s still moist and flaky. My wife is allergic to wheat and dairy, and BJ’s has an allergen menu. It’s kind of limited and difficult, but the waitress understood well and had recommended modifications to normal items. Timing is average — not rushed, but not slow. Waitstaff never left us hanging, and drinks were refilled before empty. At delivery, the runner asked if it looked right. Half way through, the waitress verified it tasted good. At the end, the manager verified the whole experience was okay. Overall, very pleased, and we were in and out in less than an hour, during lunch, on a Sunday.

The beer that BJ’s actually brewed is really good, but it’s all over $ 5.25 a glass, so that hurts. The food was pretty good, but it was about the same level as Chilis, TGI Fridays, and Applebees. Service was great though and we had a really good time just sitting and talking. Didn’t feel rushed at all and continued to get good service the entire time we were there. The beer is worth a try but it’s expensive and the food is on par with all the other chains, but there is a huge selection of everything. I think this spot is just fine for meeting up and chillin with your friends if you don’t feel like going to downtown Denton and hitting East Side or Oak Street Draft House

This is a new location for BJ’s. Unlike lots of other BJs, they only have 3 TVs behind the bar playing games, but we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. The food was delicious, I think the pepperoni dip is only there for a limited time, which is sad, but hurry in to try it! The servers were attentive and nice. It’s really easy to join their rewards program and earn free stuff, but they’re not by any means pressuring anyone to do so like can be annoying at other places.
