Service was poor. Wait staff never came back until time to deliver check. Had to go and search for our napkins. No refills.

For chain Mexican, this is about as good as you’re probably going to get. The signature dishes are worth trying, as are the daily specials. I’ve eaten at other locations and the food and service are always consistent. The service, especially, has always been top-notch, hence the five stars.

Home of some of the best salsa I know of, located near a cinemark so if you are wanna watch a movie before or after you eat, it’s right across the road. Amazing food, large portions and affordable. I’ve been coming here for forever.

Food is good(not my favorite) but I do like it. Service is usually pretty good. Décor is nice, atmosphere is a bit loud, and hard to have a large group and be able to visit with everyone. Creamy Jalapeño is my favorite dip, it’s a must have for me. Over all a clean facility.

Chuy’s, I really wanted to like you. If I summarize my experience here in one word: meh. They were fairly busy but there was still plenty of seating available and there was no wait. The service was really slow, you had to wait a long time to even get a refill of chips, forget about a drink refill. We got their Queso Cumpouesto which was really good, thick queso with ground beef. It had good seasoning, a little spicy but not too much. We eventually ordered, I got the tacos al carbon and my wife ordered the steak fajitas. It took a really long time to get the order and when we got the food it was lukewarm. It’s fairly unusual when someone order fajitas to not see the griddle steaming hot. In fact, some of the meat was stuck to my wife’s plate. The waitress was nowhere to be seen. We were hungry and had a very tired 11 year old so we didn’t have the time to deal with waiting on the waitress or go find her since it took so long to check on us. I was quite disappointed, I had a great experience at Chuy’s in Plano and it was disappointing how poor they performed at this location on this night.

I always get really great service and food here. It’s definitely one of the better Chuy’s I’ve been to. Being close to the movies is great too.

They can make the chuy gooey. It’s off the menu and get it. Kyle was our server and he was great. Steak burrito with boom boom sauce is the way to go. Will definitely be coming back and often

Decided to give them a second chance. Ordered the exact same dish as last time and it’s still disgusting. Please for the love of all deities, season the chicken! The sauce on the outside of the enchiladas does not save the dry – rubbery and bland interior! They literally boil a chicken breast, shred it, and then stuff it into the enchiladas expecting the sauce on top of the corn tortillas to be its saving grace. It’s not! The sauce is not that delicious to do any good. and not seasoning your food is lazy!!! Please get it together.

Tonight they failed to meet basic sanitation standards for restaurants. Bar personnel mishandling the equipment after picking up trash and dust pan without washing your hands afterwards is unacceptable. Picking your nose, touching your face then running your fingers through your greasy hair is unacceptable if you are washing the bar dishes that are being readied for use. Just really disappointed after giving this location good marks in the past. Made me lose my appetite and we left not wanting to return. They need to be retrained and busted by the health department to all go through Serve Safe recertification.

Totally tex-mex, but not gonna lie, I love it! Chuys is consistently good. Great queso, enchiladas, fajitas, and their shrimp tacos are amazing. The flour tortillas are so fresh! Margaritas are huge and I love all the different flavor combinations you can get. I want to try the tres leches cake!

I had a lot of conflict when picking a star rating for Chuys. I don’t know if I can safely give it a 2 star but I feel like they tried really hard so 4 seems slightly merited but other factors drag it back down. On the positive side: the server and the manager apologized for accidentally leaving off one our meals and gave us a free taco as it turns out we didn’t need it anyway. Overall drink service was prompt and so was the chip service! The food was decent and I can say that my chika chika boom boom has some pretty great sauce. The food itself may be lacking which I’ll explain further. The negatives: They left off a meal and later that night I didn’t feel so great in the stomach. Not sure if it’s Chuys’ fault but it doesn’t bode well when I decide not to eat my leftovers. The salsa here is weak and flavorless fyi. Others didn’t experience my pain in the quality of food so I can’t say for sure its their fault so I’m going to go middle of the road on these folks.

Food was pretty good. A little cold, but we had a large party and it was busy. I would eat there again.

This location is a good example of Chuy’s excellent consistency and quality control. The salsa is made from fresh tomatoes and the menu still has the #8 combo I love. Thankfully no longer called the Ladies Combo, with a taco, queso and a scoop of guacamole, it’s a great selection if you aren’t looking for a big meal. Larger plates offer a combination of beef and chicken enchiladas with red and green sauces that have a lot of flavor in addition to heat. Heat by itself is easy to achieve. It takes more effort for comino, onion and garlic to come through without overwhelming the plate. Chuy’s also has dishes with Hatch chilies in season, all of which I’ve tried! Lots of heat, as Hatch chili fans know and love. The tamales are moist, seasoned well and bigger than most. God I’m old, but the first Chuy’s was on Riverside Drive when I was at the University of Texas and we went really often. When I encountered them in other cities I was skeptical. Was nothing sacred? I’ve eaten at Chuy’s in four cities and found the same good food. I had a bad experience in Dallas and once in San Antonio. In San Antonio I told them the food was mediocre and that the server was kind of rude and they immediately comped my check. The Texas Martini — a margarita with a jalapeño stuffed olive — is great and the house margarita is also excellent. There’s a full bar and very shall we say festive crowd. Good food, upbeat vibe, happy hour — Chuy’s hits all the right notes virtually every time. Not easy to achieve. They know their business. Good times.

My family does not like going to Chuy’s. For one thing it knocked our favorite Mexican restaurant out of business and for a second thing, the flavor is just not there. For me, I’ve really enjoyed their chile rellenos at multiple locations. After convincing my family to go to Chuy’s(I just moved back to the area) and ordering the only thing on the menu I have found that I like, and being somewhat disappointed by the flavor, let’s just say I was up at night with«stomach issues.» Why choose Chuy’s when there’s so much better flavor out there and local businesses to support besides? Chuy’s never again for me. I honestly have never understand the hoopla anyhow so it’s not like it’s a huge loss for me. Perhaps people really go for the drinks.

Chuys is the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Ate again there last night for the fiftieth time! The service was awesome. My water never got under half full, our chips never got empty, and we had everything we need. She was super friendly and attentive. They have the best hot sauce, hands down. It’s kind of a pico hot sauce and always tastes so fresh. I split a half order of veggie fajitas. They were cooked perfectly and were delicious. They were so big that even with splitting a half order there were leftovers. My only negative is their margaritas. I have tried multiple kinds of margaritas but never like them. Not sure why. The restaurant is always clean and decorated fun. Not the quietest place in the world, but a fun place. Go check it out.

I love Chuys! We always have great service, fantastic food and yummy drinks! I always enjoy whatever speciality drink they are having at the moment. My favorites have been the blood orange margarita and the pomegranate margarita. Both were wonderful! I always enjoy my food, but my favorite is the beef fajitas. Yummy! I also enjoy the chicken tortilla soup when I’m looking for something lighter. I highly recommend Chuys. Especially during Happy Hour.

I was going to give this place a 1* review because when it takes longer than normal to receive food and it is served cold you get 1 *. I will say the manager did replace my meal and it was hotter but it just wasn’t great food. But I’m bumping this to 2*s because they made an effort to fix it. My wife’s southwestern enchiladas were a disaster. I’ve had many good experiences at Chuy’s but this one bombed big time. Service was very slow. I won’t be back.
