the food is terrible… I went to taco Bueno after going here to have dinner.

Fuzzy’s is in my top favorites of Denton. I just love the food, the service, and the great atmosphere. Perfect for a college town. Everybody that I’ve brought here has loved it. You’ll definitely see me here alot!

Used to look forward to fuzzys before they changed things up to befit their massive expansion(our town has 2 etc.). Options for burritos became more similar to Chipotle. I don’t mind Chipotle but we already have 2 of those. Service is so slow on this visit that I will probably need to bail before ordering l.

I’ve eaten at several locations and normally love their tacos. This was the worst restaurant experience ever. I was never called up for my order. Finally went to check and saw another customer bring my tray back from his table. I couldn’t tell the beef taco was a beef taco because there was not enough filling to make a determination. Didn’t get my guacamole. Food was cold, probably because it had already been passed around the restaurant.

I really like fuzzy’s and have been here lots of times with no issues until recently. My friends and I went here last weekend and I ordered a glass of sangria, which I have ordered before, and was given a pint glass filled 1⁄3rd of the way with warm sangria. When I questioned the waitress with the odd serving amount she said, «I’m sorry you are like the third person in three years who has ordered this.» I responded that the serving size seemed odd and that this was not how it had been served to me in the past(previously it waa served to me in a Margarita glass over ice). I took a small sip and it tasted bad. When I asked if I could exchange it for something else because it didn’t taste good nor did it meet my expectations of what I thought I was ordering, due to the size and glass, I was told there was nothing she could do and I could order something else and would be charged additionally for it. Poor customer service which left me with a bad taste in my mouth about a place I usually enjoyed going to.

Visited Fuzzy’s a week ago for a business meeting. Enjoyed Shrimp Tacos — my favorite. Chips, salsa, queso, beans, rice, tortillas… yummmmmmmmmmmmmm. Great fix on Tex Mex style foods. Most enjoyable.

Visiting Denton and needed a quick lunch, so I decided to try Fuzzy’s. Great choice! It’s very casual, fast food, kinda fun and funky. It’s not a fancy restaurant. The choices are pretty straight forward. I had a crunchy ground beef taco and a soft chicken fajita meat taco. Both were excellent. I was surprised at how good the crunchy taco was. It was easily the best taco shell I’ve ever had. I can only guess that they make them there fresh. The chicken taco was really good with some great seasonings that you don’t find at fast food places. There was fresh cilantro on the tacos, a nice white cheese, and some seasonings that I can’t place but definitely aren’t taco bell. I will definitely go back here again. $ 2 for a taco of this quality is a bargain. There are many more menu options to explore. I think I’ll have a fish taco before I leave town.

This is my second time at Fuzzy’s, but first time at this location. This is the place to visit for affordable and nice size portioned meals. The cashier and cooks were nice and service was fast. I ordered a shredded chicken quesadilla and dined in with friends. The plate was still on the tray. As I prepared to dive in and eat, my food tumbled on the floor! I was worried that I had to pay for another meal, but after I told the cooks what happened without hesitation they prepared me another chicken quesadilla! I appreciate the replacement of my meal because they could of charged me. I will definitely visit Fuzzy’s again!

I ordered the Migas. I always order the Migas. It’s huge and it’s good. I find that all the locations I have visited, make it consistently good. I’ll see them again and you can guess what I’ll order!

I have had Fuzzys nachos before and love them but always from the other location. This location was a disappointment. big time! I ordered a combo plate and when I got home and looked the enchilada was tiny(is it even an enchilada?) and they forgot my taco. I won’t be going back to this location.

Great food, great atmosphere, really bad wifi. Might as well not have it if it doesn’t work. If you don’t advertise that you have it, I wouldn’t expect it, but we came here specifically for that so we could study. Wish we hadn’t already paid for food. Bummer!

I’ve lived here for four years throughout college and every year since I arrived my tempura shrimp burrito keeps shrinking. Now it’s mostly filled with guacamole, lettuce shreds, and garlic sauce with some remnants of a few shrimp. It used to stand upright in my hand and now it is just a deflated mess. When I last tried to order the burrito, the girl at the register looked perplexed when I asked her to add enough ingredients to actually fill the burrito instead of leaving air pockets and guac filled gloops. I don’t know what happened to the old Fuzzys but I just really want my burrito back. :’-(

Visiting from out of town and I’m impressed although they’re a chain. First night I had tacos which were off the chain. Second night I had the chicken chicken fajita salad which was awesome.

I mean, it’s Fuzzy’s– it’s not exactly authentic mexican food, but it’s definitely a step up from your regular fast food tacos. I definitely prefer the I-35 Denton location to this one, it’s generally less crowded, but this location is better located. My favorite are the shrimp tempura tacos, and the beef fajita meat is delicious. It tends to be a little over-priced(in my opinion) however, they do have a taco Tuesday, $ 1.5 taco night, so that’s totally worth it. Overall solid three stars for consistency, negative two for the messy tables and generally trashy/drunk people that tend to overdo the margaritas and talk loudly in the booths nearby.

The tacos here are pretty good except for the shredded beef… almost broke a tooth trying to eat it! The queso also isn’t that good. It doesn’t have much flavor and the consistency reminds me of snot. All of the food is over priced but I come here for the margaritas to be honest. I don’t know what it is about them but they are so refreshing and good!

Tacos are hard to mess up. this is a taco shop. you get exactly what you expect when you come here. Being that you expect good cheap tacos i’d say that’s worthy of four stars. They also have burritos, which is generally just a bigger taco with rice and/or beans if you think about it. this is where they mess up: you have to request the rice/beans. its still a filling serving of food, but i feel like they are being stingy. Cost them a star. most taco shops/mexican food restaurants are pretty predictable. This place is just as tasty as rusty’s taco shop down the corner. As a note though, their«butt burnin» sauce is pretty tasty. and actually hot. Hell, i’ll give their star back for the sauce!

What does one say about a place after 106 reviews? Tacos are great, burritos are great, Fuzzy’s hot sauce is pretty good and same with the habanero sauce. The sides are great, rice and beans, potatoes, refried beans. Décor is straight out of Applebee’s, adapt to the locale. Denton high school jerseys, University of North Texas swag and all sorts of metal and neon signage. It’s a fun little place and I keep coming back for more. Short and sweet. Enjoy.
