I called ahead twice in an attempt to request seating for party of 13. While their policy is to not seat incomplete parties, an exception could have been made, but this manager needed to let me know just how in control she was. She needed to prove that she was the boss and«not no way, not no how» was she going to make an exception for my 5 year old’s birthday.(Had it not been the ONLY place she wanted to eat, we would have promptly made another restaurant selection.) My discussion with Katie/Cadee ended on the phone and once arriving at the restaurant, we were treated decently. Average service, I’d say. I’m certain the staff is a bit intimidated by the young manager/bully and her nasty attitude. I assume she let the waitstaff know(or they already know) not to cross her or else. The next day I communicated with the corporate office. Fast forward 3 weeks later and three phone calls to the corporate office. I’ve still NEVER been contacted by the Managing Partner/Owner. However, Guest Relations was gracious enough to read the comments left behind indicating that I caused a scene. As a matter of fact, the exact opposite happened. The hostess was nice and professional and we were seated in a rather quick time frame(although the restaurant was rather busy.) Wait service was prompt, drinks were filled, food arrived hot and in an appropriate amount of time. Staff was very sweet to my 5 year old and let her sit on the saddle and we had a rather nice celebration. I was a bit saddened by this experience and that a restaurant owner in our city would lie about a customer and NOT even reach out to me. I’m certain the situation could have been used as a training tool for the young manager. Don’t forget Mr. Rijos, Denton is one of those«small big towns». Word of mouth can be a strong tool. Side Note: One wonders if the owner/managing partner and evening manager will lie about situations to their very own corporate office is a reflection upon food safety practices and other crucial pieces at the restaurant level. If it is… buyer beware!

This is one of my favorite places to go. The food is always good. Service is usually pretty good too, though tonight ours was slow.

Went for an early dinner on MLK day. Walked in an told host stand that there were two of us for dinner. They told us it would just be a minute for someone to seat us. Another couple walked in right behind us, and got sat before us. I didn’t let that really bother me, and we were sat right behind them anyway. We were taken to a table that would hold 6 people(remember this is just my wife and I) right behind the host station. Our food and service were both great, but my biggest complaint was the host stand. I was able to watch them the whole time we were dining, and it was embarrassing that that is the first and last thing you see. They were just a bunch of young girls, talking about everything but the job at hand. They were chewing gum, drinking from big Sonic cups and just being loud. The other worst part was they would basically lean over our table ever time the phone rang with a to-go order or any other questions guests were calling about. My wife was extremely upset with that. We will probably return, but defiantly not be sat anywhere near that horrible host stand!!!

AWESOME! MUSTTRY! You will not regret it. This place is the total package. Excellent Customer service meets quality/savory food meets exceptional pricing. My husband and I were visiting out here from CA and this place surpassed every expectation. We will definitely return. The ribs literally fall off the bone, and the 12oz ribeye is seasoned to perfection it literally melts in your mouth. It is crowded but everyone is so friendly. No one seems frustrated or upset that they have to wait. Really fun environment.

We called ahead of time and reserved a table for 7 pm. They put us in the computer and it was no problem. They told us to make sure that all of our party were here before we would be seated. We arrived at 7 pm and had all of our party here by 7:05.(10 people) It was packed. We waited an hour and 3 minutes before we were finally seated. I don’t really understand the point of a reservation if we aren’t able to sit sometime around the time we reserved the table for. After we were seated it took our server another 30 min to finally take our order and another 30 for us to get our food. Our server was pretty nice and the food was really good. We were stuffed when we left. My husband and I shared the Texas sized combo of ribs and steak with two sides-steak fried and mashed potatoes. Overall it was an ok experience. I’m not saying that I won’t come back, but I’m not sure how soon I’ll return after those crazy wait times. We left around 10 pm.

I have yet to find a place that has a better house salad with homemade ranch dressing. We don’t come here often, but when we do it’s always good.

The food was really good. I had their bacon cheeseburger with fries. The burger was quite huge! In fact all of their portions were quite big. We were stuffed when we were done. The Rattlesnake Bite appetizer were delicious. Our server was nice and attentive enough. The wait for the food wasn’t too bad either. A different girl bought out our food. She didn’t smile or said hi when she came up to our table. She gave us our food without saying the name of the dish. I thought it was a little rude and she could have given someone the wrong dish since she basically just assumed what everybody had. Other than that everything else was good.

Very good food. The staff was very friendly and our waitress got everything we needed. This was my first time there and I would definitely come back. Steak was soft and the shrimp was good. I recommend getting the loaded bake potato. Don’t recommend mac n cheese since it comes straight out of a kraft mac and cheese box.

I RARELY give five stars. But to eat a 25.00 bone in ribeye that was THIS good clearly deserves all the stars available. First off it was busy. Black Friday. Service people were fantastic. Bailey was our server and was as sweet and as attentive as can be. My girlfriend got the steak salad and devoured it. I got the ribeye and loved it. Cooked perfectly. The rolls with cinnamon butter are amazing. Rice was fantastic. Truly a GREAT meal.

Food: 5⁄10(Okay food) Service: 5⁄10(Hit or miss) Value: 6⁄10 Ambience: 7⁄10(Typical steakhouse atmosphere) Average food, average service, average looking waitresses, and average experiences overall. After about 3 visits, no one in my family felt like coming back anymore, including myself. Not even when I was craving a nice piece of juicy steak. I’d rather grill my own than go here. If you decide to dine here, please stay safe.

I swear there is not a better value than Texas Roadhouse. My wife and I split an entrée and we enjoy the complementary rolls and peanuts. Our ticket ends up being cheaper than a fast food ticket. The ribs are AWESOME. The sirloin is the best steak I have had in any comparable restaurant. The fried pickles and cheese fries with chili are one of the best things I have ever eaten. I love this place!

Great fat boy food. Bread is the bomb I usually get the chicken fried steak But the steak is pounded thin with more breading than steak. I recommend roadhouse if you’re a baller or if you have a date with a Texan Native. Be warned there are usually peanut shells all over the floor through the restaurant.

For a commercial restaurant this is a great place. Love cold beer good wine selections. Ribs are always tender. Salmon is not over cooked. Chicken crisper are huge and usually not greasy. Sirloin steak is tender. Just had lunch with a group Sunday and everyone loved their lunch. It was really packed and service was good.

OK Steaks… That is how I would sum up Texas Roadhouse. I do however love the bread, it is GREAT! I just wasn’t impressed with the streaks. Our server was nice, and had a great attitude. Even though she spilled her tray of drinks on me! Lol! The manager came over and apologized, and offered to take care of any dry cleaning. She was very nice and professional. Accidents happen, no biggie!

Surprisingly good steaks for a chain. This is probably one of the first chains I’ve been to that actually knew how to cook a rare steak. My husband and I were pleased. I ordered the smothered chicken while he ordered a steak. Had I known their steaks would be that good, I would’ve ordered one too. We also split an order of rattlesnake bites. Everything was good and they certainly don’t skimp on portions. It’s pretty hard to resist the bread and the cinnamon butter so by the time my meal came, I was already pretty full from the salad and the bread. Next time I’ll pace myself a little better, but my leftovers made a great lunch the next day.

I keep telling myself I won’t go to chain restaurants but I was asked to go here and it was a bit later than I normally eat. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but I didn’t expect that they would stick us in the corner. Too tired to ask for another option I kept my mouth shut and sat down. Our waitress was very nice and polite. I asked if Texas Roadhouse served a larger Filet than the 8 ounce steak offered on the menu. I was told yes they do and was offered an option of 12 or 16 ounces. After I was served my salad drink and bread a male front of the house person approached our table to tell me they were out of 12 ounce filets. He offered me two 6 ounce filets instead but I declined. I didn’t have the energy to protest the fact that a large 12 ounce filet is a completely different eating experience than eating two 6 ounce filets. When the food did come, it was very disappointing. The steak was not properly seasoned and the quality of the meat was poor. The internal temperature was spot on but it didn’t help the steak. This Texas Roadhouse must have a poor quality choice product or they have the typical select quality beef you find in any supermarket. I ordered fries with the steak and they were very low quality steak fries. This was my first and last time at Texas Roadhouse.

This place is disgusting. We sat by a window and the blinds are filthy-beyond filthy(picture to follow). The ladies restroom was just gross. The toilet paper cover was broken and on the floor. The trash dispenser was barely hanging on the wall-attached to the wall by one bolt. And the most disgusting was the toilet brush container under the sink covered with years of dust and gross stuff! I can’t imagine what the kitchen looks like. As for the food– chicken fried chicken tastes like it was fried in 2 week old oil and the ribs were smothered in bbq sauce. They aren’t real bbq ribs anyway. This place isn’t worth the 1 star I HAVE to give.

I really enjoy going to Texas Roadhouse. My girlfriend and I go there often and I’ve yet to have a bad experience with them. They have a good selection of steaks in varying cuts and sizes, sure to find one that will meet your appetite. But just because it’s a steak place don’t discount their other offerings. They BBQ Chicken is good, the ribs are good, I’ve even had their grilled pork chop and it is good as well. They have a solid bar offering more than just the run-of-the-mill stuff. Some decent scotch and bourbon, some mixed drinks, pretty standard stuff. If you’re near one and was a decent steak for a decent price, give Roadhouse a shot. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! :)
