1st Resort Carpet Cleaning

Could not say enough good things about these guys. I called them early in the morning in a jam (my dog had urinated on the only carpet in my entire apartment overnight) and got Tony on the phone. They couldn’t fit me in same day originally, but called me back around an hour later with same day availability due to a cancellation! Another hour and a half later Jordan was at my apartment. He did a fantastic job, was incredibly polite and professional, and even worked liked a champ through a random power outage that occurred in my duplex midway through the job. This guy basically cleaned my carpet in the dark, and it looks and smells fantastic! The price is worth it for the professionalism, quality and reliability. Really great service. Would definitely use them again!

1^st Resort technician did a very good job in cleaning my couches and carpet. I would have given them a better rating, except:
On the day they were originally scheduled (within a 2 hour window), they did not arrive. I called and spoke to Tony who was very apologetic and sounded sincere in wanting another chance, explained they had an issue with their previous job, offered to come the next day, and would ‘do whatever it takes to make this right’ with the price. I should have gotten him immediately to re-​quote the price but he sounded very sincere in correcting the mishap and earning my business.
Unfortunately when the crew got to my home the next day (on time) the person quoting the service wanted to up-​charge my service by $ 40 for a scotch-​guard coating on the carpet, which I wasn’t convinced was needed. With push-​back, I was able to get the job done (with scotch-​guard) for the amount originally quoted — no discount for my inconvenience the day before.
They did a good job but did not live up to my expectations of great service as I read on previous Unilocal reviews — and definitely did not live up to Tony’s commitment to discount the service as he said he would. He needs to communicate better with his crews when he makes a verbal commitment with a customer.

Tony did a great job on the carpets in my place. I called yesterday hoping they could come out today & they were able to do it. He was very professional & prompt. He got to my place on time & explained everything he was doing as he was doing it. I will definitely use 1^st Resort again & will recommend them to all my friends.

I don’t believe that there is another company in the metro area that could possibly do a better job! The owner Tony is amazing. He actually answers his cell phone, 90% of the time he answers when I call, which has been a number of times over the last few months, due to my unexpected rescheduling needs, need for more information, etc. When I can’t get through to him immediately (they are VERY busy) he always calls me back within a couple of hours.
Tony’s crew (a man named Jordan who has been with him more than seven years and another crew member) arrived on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and did an outstanding job. I had not had my carpets cleaned since they were new (12 – 13 years ago) — I strongly recommend not making this mistake yourself, I would never wait more than a year or two again to have them cleaned, especially now that I know about 1^st Resort’s low rates. I never had a single question that wasn’t answered immediately to my satisfaction, either by Tony or his crew. All three of them were very friendly and helpful, even with my most naïve questions.
Quite understandably they were not able to leave our high traffic areas as new looking as the rest of our fairly light-​colored carpet, but I fully believe that they did the very best that they could do with the challenge I gave them. We added a few colorful area rugs to the high traffic areas, and now our rooms look fabulous. Some of the areas they cleaned were the original carpets in this house, which was built in the 70’s!
I would not hesitate to call them again, or to recommend them to a friend or family member. I found their company on another web-​site on which they had outstanding reviews, but wanted to post my review on Unilocal also because it is the first place I look when I’m looking for recommendations on almost anything: restaurants, hotels, service providers of any type. I am confident that if you try them you’ll never want any other company to clean your carpets.

We had 1^st Resort Carpet Cleaning out this week to clean our entire house and they did a wonderful job! Very professional, great communication prior to the appointment, excellent pricing! Would recommend and will use again!

We’re particular about contractors entering our home, and 1^st Resort Carpet Cleaning is the only carpet cleaner we’ll use from now on.

I got a call from my aunt that our daughter had a hearty breakfast and a very active playtime afterwards which resulted in her throwing up on the stairs. For a good part of the morning, I was calling around to find someone to come out to clean our staircase. My husband submitted a request on Home Advisor and Tony (the owner) was one of the first people to call us. After reviewing a couple of the reviews and his website, I gave him a call and he was very professional and insightful. He asked if the stain had been treated, told me how to treat it if it does happen again and then told me he could come out within two hours after he finished with the client he was with.
Once he got to the house, he took a look at the stain and called me before he did anything to set expectations. He did an amazing job and his prices are very reasonable.
We’re going to have him come out again to clean the rest of the home.

Tony is a consummate professional and his serviceship is the best in the biz. I would highly recommend him. I use Tony for commercial and residential.
