I have been to ACE7 or so times. Its a place I have to be in the mood for, but when I am… I am all in. My favorites are their crispy brussels sprouts(Spicy! for a weak mouth) and crispy beef. For dinner, that is enough food right there. I think their beer selection could be a little more affordable but I’ll take their(Thai?) can beer for $ 4. Their happy hour(drink wise) is pretty on par. $ 5 dollar highballs and $ 2 coors originals are pretty pleasing to this happy hour lover. The HH food is pretty good when you are in the mood for some Dim Sum. I keep coming back for the location and that perfect summer patio!

This place was alright. Kinda college bar if you ask me which I am not complaining! Are you kidding me? 8 tables of ping pong and great drinks. The atmosphere was great and met some cool people. The ladies were lookers and I had a blast. My friends drove in from Penn. and this place was easy to find. Had the crispy beef and some sliders, not a fan personally, but the other side with the entertainment was enough for me. Win!

I love the feel of this place. Asian fusion is always an interesting concept. The Shoyu Ramen was very flavorful, as was the cucumber salad and Tom Kha soup. The entrees were all well-made. I would say the only thing that was 50⁄50 were the desserts. The Ginza Pineapple was light and interesting while the donuts were not was I was looking for. All in all a great place to visit and be sure to stick around for the table tennis!

I really. Really really like the atmosphere of this place. However the service and food is usually hit or miss. Unfortunately I’ve had really terrible service on slower nights. — like a Tuesday. But have also had great service on very busy Friday nights. The food is usually really good. The tiger wings are large and usually sauced well. I have had a few instances where the bao buns(mainly the short rib) has come out with a sliver of meat. Like a tiny tiny left over piece from a normal bao sized piece. We’ve hosted company happy hours here and the organization, menu and service were great. The private room with the pong table is also a cool. I think it really boils down to who your server is. ***UPDATE*** after sitting on the nicely heated patio for 20 minutes. No joke — seated at 6:00. Server over at 6:23. Kinda sucked.

I wanted to love this place, however after three attempts it’s just OK. The food is terrible, & i do not understand! The food over at Stuebens is amazing!!! I believe they are owned by the same people ??? If you want to drink, hang out and play ping pong — this is your place. Just eat somewhere else before you come.

Great happy hour deals!!! We had some sort of alcoholic coffee shots and some spicy wings and some bao buns and lots of fun things off their menu. The coffee shots were amazing, the wings were amazing. However, the buns were stale! This was unfortunate because we had ordered one of each kind which was half a dozen. I know. We should have sent them back. But, they lose a star for sending them out like that. That’s on them. Anyway, the atmosphere was quite unique. Trendy industrial asian hipster(add some more adjectives). Bonus, ping pong tables and activities. We were just there to dine and did not play ping pong or anything, but I would go back here maybe for that, and for most of the happy hour deals.

Super fun and super nice staff. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try any of the food but the location and atmosphere were on point!

We were intrigued by the menu, so we came here on a Saturday night with a group of people. I thought the food was disappointing. I got the Pad Thai, and it was ok. The chocolate pot for dessert wasn’t very good; it just wasn’t sweet enough or flavorful enough to make up for the lack of sugar. I didn’t finish it, which is saying a lot, because it’s rare for me not to finish a dessert. The food also really didn’t agree with my stomach. My fiancé got the Ramen Braised Pork Shank, which is basically ham and was way too salty. He said the fried rice that came with it was good, but also way too salty. Like me, he too was disappointed in the chocolate pot. The service was only so-so. They charged 20% gratuity for the dinner, and after most of our group had gone, some of us stuck around for awhile to hang out but no one came by to see if we needed anything else, thereby ruining any chance of us ordering more drinks. Not a smart way of doing business because it limited the amount of tips that the wait staff ultimately received. The patio seating is not as comfortable as it could be. Though they have several heaters going, it’s still drafty and chilly because there’s no barrier between the patio seating and the outside where the ping pong tables are located. They should consider putting up plastic sheeting between the patio and the ping pong tables to block the cold air from the patio seating.

Well done! We really enjoyed our visit to this neighborhood eatery last night. Although there was quite a wait when we arrived(’round 6:30) the hostess duet was very courteous and sweet. We did put our name on the list, but decided to sit at the cozy bar which led to the outside area. It was great to get such a wonderful waitress/bartender(the preggers one… you know who you are ;)) She took great care of us, from the recommendations, drink selection, and all around service. We chomped on some kimchi, the pork shank, and the pad Thai. Kimchi was well seasoned/pickled and for the cost was well received. Pork Shank was unbelievable. Buttery bbqy outside with a rosy brown color which sat on a bed of rice. Wow. Pad Thai was unlike any other. It had a quasi omelette folding into the noodles with a great Thai sauce and they weren’t stingy with the shrimp. Go. Have fun. Be belly happy.

Fun place for a group of friends, or a date night with that special someone. Come for the ping pong, the atmosphere and alcohol. The food is also meant to be fun, but there is nothing authentic or really crave-able about it. The one thing on the menu that stood out(if you love meat like me) was the ramen braised short rib over house fried rice. Splittable for two.

The setting is excellent and there are 3 main areas: a restaurant(sit-down eating), a bar, and a really large ping pong(table tennis) room. There was also an outdoor area but since it was winter, I can’t really judge it. I liked the setting: it was comfortable and we ate at a counter facing the kitchen area. The servers were really nice(though we didn’t see one for a while at one point) and we even talked to the cooks for a bit over the counter. The food was good and they had multiple vegetarian options. Among other things, I tried the vegan ramen. It’s why I went there and I really wanted it to be good. It had a lot of vegetables(good) but it didn’t taste like I wanted ramen to taste. It was more seaweed & miso and less seasoned… well, like the vegan ramen I had at a place in London near the West End. We also had the vegetarian maitake mushroom bao buns and they were below average. Another person got the crispy brussel sprouts and they were awesome. I did like the condiments they put out with the food: the crisp chili oil was particularly good. So since I liked the atmosphere, the people were nice, and the food was average, and I had fun playing group ping pong, why not a higher rating? To be direct, I got horrible gas pains after I left that lasted until the next morning. I would think it was a one off, but the other people I was with had upset stomachs later that evening too and the only thing we had in common was Ace Eat Serve. So sadly, I won’t be coming back to eat though I may come back to play ping pong and hang with friends at the bar area if we need somewhere open until midnight.

I wish I could say Ace was an Ace in the hole experience. My friends and I came over begrudgingly because the power was out at Stueben’s next door. What I love about Ace is the décor. It is so modern and beautiful with the beetle kill wood above the kitchen. There’s huge outdoor space and ping pong tables in the large back room. I didn’t realize this was a Vietnamese inspired menu. I was craving Ramen so I was so happy to order the Shoyu Ramen on menu. The broth and pork were great. The broth was flavorful and had great consistency. The pork wasn’t dry and the noodles were ok. The egg, it was cooked weird and the consistency wasn’t smooth. It just felt weird in my mouth. I will say that the grapefruit homemade soda is delicious. It tasted like 7UP but way better. Our service was meh. The server always seemed to busy to serve us. It wasn’t even that busy and it was probably busier because Stueben’s was closed. But I haven’t written this place off yet. I’d like to go back and try again before upping stars.

Walking into Ace, my partner and I glanced at the open kitchen area and were very excited to see they used authentic southeast Asian sauces.(She’s from Cambodia) However, the only star in our entire meal were the buns. The group of 7 of us ordered the chicken dumplings to start and although there was a good spicy flavor the wrap was completely raw. We sampled the pork belly and short rib buns and they were cooked perfectly. The buns could’ve been cooked a bit more though. The red chili pepper in the pork belly bun really kicked it up a notch. We ordered the Sunday special, the Vietnamese beef noodle soup, aka phở. Not sure what we were thinking because my partner is Cambodian and we eat authentic southwest Asian food all the time… It was very Americanized and tasted like they just used a broth cube instead of making the broth out of bones. The broth was extremely thick too. It also had a really weird cinnamon flavor to it. The Pad Thai was 90% egg and was placed on top like an omelet. I don’t even want to talk about how confusing/strange this is. We ordered 2 juices and they forgot them until the end of the meal so they didn’t charge us for them. Tasty flavors, but not what we were expecting… If you’re going for traditional Asian food, not the place to go, I’d suggest cholon bistro instead.

I’ll start by saying if you don’t like ping pong, stay in the dining room. If you do like ping pong then the back of this place is for you. I always sit at the bar top but I really have had a good experience each time I’ve been in here. They make some phenomenal wings at this place, a really great sweet, sour and spicy balance. I find myself ordering them each time I stop in. The drink menu is really good as well and they have some great local beers on tap. All my friends that were in the marines love this place as they love playing some crazy competitive ping pong and it’s welcomed there. You can have fun and play around. If you like asian fusion food or ping pong… ch-ch-check it out.

I’ve had both great and so-so entrees here. Cool atmosphere cool vibe. It’s nice to sit outside during the warm weather. They have ping pong tables outside. I think this place scores points on cool factor — really unique with the ping pong tables.

Love the atmosphere here! It’s electric! Loved all of the various spaces within the space such as the bar, restaurant and game area. Also love the concept of fusing them together in 1 vibrant space! The food, however, is not executed as well. Had the bacon fried rice and while there were many pieces of bacon, the rice itself lacked flavor and was a bit on the sticky side. Will come back at some point to play table tennis(had a middle school PE teacher who was vehement that it not be called ping pong) and to try something else to eat. Would be a fun date night or place to gather with friends.

I came here for my birthday dinner and a great time was had by all! The food was bomb I had the bacon tomato fried rice and it was delicious and filling! Our waiter was also extremely knowledgeable and made great beer recommendations The ping pong is separate for the dinner area and it is 15 $ per hour … But we had a fun battling each other after dinner. I would definitely return here. It would be a great place to go on a date!

I am literally shocked this place doesn’t have 5 stars overall. I guess everyone really does look for something different and not everything is perfect for everyone. BUT, everything WAS perfect for us when we came. Taking some locals suggestions, we had been traveling and flying all day, it was late, we were tired, we wanted scrum food in a chill place, people told us to come here. Smart people. This place ROCKS. I was also with my two babes reuniting for our favorite thing in the world– Phish, so technically nothing could bring us down. This place is super cool and different– tons and tons of ping pong tables, which I LOVE, but we didn’t use. Was here strictly for food. The restaurant has a cool layout, like I find with a lot of restaurants in Colorado. I like the open vibe they all have and the designs. We had a few people waiting on us, all of whom were very kind and awesome. But our main gal was Autumn and she was the BEST, and she was BEAUTIFUL. You rock Autumn! But oh the food… Wow. So many good things here. First of all, there is a sauce tray on the table waiting for you. If anyone doesn’t know, I am OBSESSED with sauces. I really am. I might change my middle name to «Condiment», I really might. We really are professional eaters and orderers so we were ready to MUNCH. We got: crispy brussel sprouts, chili calamari, tuna poke, vegetable potstickers, cucumber salad, and the trumpet mushroom bun. Basically, as a whole, everything was incredible. My favorite dishes: brussel sprouts and the tuna poke. They came with shishito peppers(best thing ever) and were served with a huge side of lime mayo. Are you guys serious? A whole bowl of a SAUCE? Come ON. The brussels and peppers were cooked and seasoned perfectly and I may have eaten the actual bowl the lime mayo came with, it was that good. Love that stuff. If I had ran out of food, I would have eaten that stuff with a spoon. It didn’t come to that though. The tuna poke though was AMAZING. It was perfect, so so delicious and tender. It was also quite possibly the biggest portion ever. We were blown away at how much tuna was on there. The calamari was good, but not best thing ever. Definitely have had better, have also had worse. The potstickers were delicious and the sauces we were combining on the table went so well with them. Cucumber salad was also great. The fried mushroom bun was just okay to me. I was really really excited for it, and it just didn’t hype me up that much. I think I’ve just had a lot of «steamed buns» that I liked a lot more and maybe shouldn’t compare, but I probably wouldn’t order again. We had house donuts for a dessert and they were sugared and came with some yummy sauce and dang they were so good. I would love to come back here next time I’m in the land and eat my life away and then play some ping pong. Should note, we were here late so only had the late night menu. Excellent place!!!

Ace Eat Serve is one of my favorite happy hour spots in Denver. I tend to like my bars to have things I can do in addition to the obvious drinking. Sure, sitting around drinking is great, but why not add some healthy competition to the equation? This is where Ace Eat Serve stands out from other happy hour spots. They have several ping pong tables you can rent by the hour. Ping pong happens to be one of my favorite activities, so I can’t help but love this place. The ping pong tables are available to rent by the hour. I recommend coming before 5 pm because it is less busy and the tables are only $ 10/hr to rent. They bump it up to $ 15/hr after 5 pm. Plus if you come earlier, you get to hit them during their wickedly great happy hour(3 pm — 6 pm) specials. $ 5 drinks where you make your own highballs. A personal favorite is Appleton’s Rum with their house-made Black Cherry soda. They also have some great appetizer deals during this time. Dim sum for $ 1 and Bao Buns for $ 3! With these deals, it is hard to pass up Ace Eat Serve. In addition to the other awesomeness I have mentioned, they have a killer patio. Very spacious. Definitely a fun place to hang out on a warm, sunny day. If you are looking for a fun spot to grab some drinks and grub, look no further than Ace Eat Serve!

This place is a great spot with great energy. There is a prominent bar with a good drink list. They have a good cocktail program and creative ingredients including a number of good bitters. The back has many ping pong tables for rent. There is also a nice dining area up front. I didn’t try the food this time but the menu looked good and the smells from the kitchen were great. I look forward to trying this place again for more.
