I loved this place. The woman that ran it was so sweet and helpful. I really hope she finds somewhere downtown to relocated since a place like this is needed. We miss you Avant-card!

I love this place. I am always able to find an appropriate card for every occasion. The owner is very friendly and goes out of her way to assist customers. Also, there are many cool little nic naks. If you are looking for a place that has cards that you will not find anywhere else, this is the place.

Although it’s one of the only«edgy» card shops left in downtown Denver, it has become a «hoarders» dream. There’s barely enough room to move around anymore and there is so much other«tchotchke» stuff, from beads, costume jewelry, knick-knacks, etc. There are a million other stores downtown for that stuff, stick to cards/wrapping paper/simple elegant gifts like you used to have. All the rest of that crap I can get at Claires across the street. I have resorted to only going in here when I absolutely have to for last minute cards for work. It gives me hives to be in so much clutter. I miss the elegance is used to have.

Great little shop when you need something nicer than the usual grocery store card. I popped in and got three cards for around $ 15, so it’s definitely a little pricier, but the occasions called for it. They also have tons of wrapping paper, bags, and other little gifts if you are ever caught empty-handed for your boss’s birthday, or you’re in the dog house with the Mrs.

This is a decent little card shop located in the basement section of Republic Plaza(by the food court). It’s pretty dang awesome that you can smell the yumminess coming from the cookie shop next door :-) That’s a bonus for sure! Perhaps a little over priced but worth the money if you need something special or something last minute. There’s a lot of stuff packed into this little store which makes it hard if there are more than three people shopping at the same time. Still, at least there are a ton of unique options. This is a local business with some local products as well so that’s worth supporting. I think they even do gift wrapping. Smallish but good. A-ok.

I never thought I’d say this about a card store — but I LOVE this place! Every card I’ve bought in this store elicits howls of laughter from the recipient and the off-color magnets are fantastic! I will miss this place — our office is moving from Republic Plaza in a couple months — but I think I will be making special trips over here just to get these cards and knick-knacks.

I love this card shop! They always have great little gifts, cards, magnets, buttons, etc. It’s a small space, but you can almost always find the perfect card or little gift here. Service is fantastic and the prices are decent. The selection of funny/silly cards is great and I always leave with a smile and the perfect gift. Right now they have their valentine’s items out!(and some items are marked down) ;-) I got a great deal!

This place is a gem. After being disappointed with the selection at Walgreens I came here. I needed a gift bag for a bottle. Instead of a generic one she has cloth ones with letters on it. And they are priced the same as the cheap paper gift bags. I know where ill shop for gift related items from now on.

For something a little bit different, I love Avant-Card. It is a pretty small shop, but they pack it to the gills. I noticed this last time I went in they have a lot of Papyrus cards, which is all fine and dandy, but if I wanted Papyrus cards I would just go to Papyrus! Still you can get cute thank you notes, unique cards and fun wrapping paper at this little shop. It is fun, a bit pricey, but all good!

For those extra special occasions stop into this cool little greeting card shop and pick up a unique card — for what ever the occasion, there is a card in here for it. The cards range from quirky to serious — I personally like the quirky ones best! There are all sorts of cute kitchy little gifts and more greeting cards per square inch than any place in town. So plunk down that extra buck and get a groovy card!
