I went here last Wednesday just because my last couple times at Panda Express weren’t great. I was hoping it was like the one at Park Meadows but it wasn’t. To be honest, I don’t think I belonged here. Maybe it’s my fault but I don’t think this is a place you go by yourself. I didn’t want to spend more than $ 20.00 on lunch so I got a fancy turkey sandwich with pom frites. The sandwich was good and the frites remind me of the ones at Freddie’s steak burger(good but wimpy). Good food but not worth the price. You’re paying more for the ambience than the food.

Cute little Resturant in Nordstrom. Amazing food and great staff. I usually get their soup and it is always delicious. My personal favorite is the tomato bisque and crab bisque! My favorite salad has to be the cilantro lime shrimp salad. The cilantro lime dressing is absolutely perfect(must try the salad)!

The crab bisque is great, but I wish they would bring back the chicken and goat cheese sandwich.

Best place to eat at Cherry Creek Mall, hands down. Their salads are my favorite of any restaurant in Denver. Everything is delicious & the service is great.

It was okay. Salty crab bisque, barely ate any. The salmon risotto was decent. The best part were the desserts and service.

Great little café inside Nordstrom’s, next to the Junior’s and Lingerie section on the second floor. Who knew? Well, I have a Junior, so discovered this recently. Surprisingly good food in this little dimly-lit bistro. Great wood fired pizzas, and tons of delicious salads for lunching ladies, and for me, I lean toward the Salad Niçoise when ever its offered– here with salmon. They even cooked it well-done for me. Service is great. I am not the biggest fan of waiting in line, placing your order, paying, and then being seated– that is so weird. But it kind of works, and the food is always good. Nice wine selection, if shopping and drinking is your thing…

Food is very inconsistent. Im a mall employee and eat here often for the sake of connivence and limited choices. Sandwiches are heavily coated in different flavored mayos, and the meats don’t taste fresh. Today i ordered a side of fruit with my sandwich, and received 6 grapes and 1 strawberry… It cost $ 2.50

We’ve been to the Nordstrom’s Sixth and Pine at Park Meadows and loved it so figured we’d give the Café Bistro a try after shopping at Cherry Creek. Super short summary: food is good, setup is weird. Even though it looks like a sit down restaurant, it’s actually more like a cafeteria setup. When you first walk in, you actually have to order your food at the counter first, and then you take your check and go and find yourself a seat. Then the waitress comes by and ask if you need a drink and take the check to place your order. We ordered the roasted chicken, crab bisque and their berry and goat cheese salad. The roast chicken was amazing, I don’t like olive in general so I didn’t really like their kalamata olive aioli but my bf loved it and used it as the dipping sauce for the fries. My bf also loved his salad, although a little bit on the sweeter side and the crab bisque was great as well. The service, meh, it was ok. We got refills if we leave our empty cups/glasses towards the outside of the table. Otherwise we weren’t really checked up on to see if everything is still ok. They also don’t offer desserts. When the check came, since my card has already been run, I realized there’s no spot on there for tips. Good thing I have enough cash on me(sometimes I don’t carry much cash). I just thought it’s strange that at a higher end retail store, you’d expect higher end customers. To have them stand in line and go through to order like a fast food restaurant is kinda odd. Also, I’d expect the service to be a bit better but then I guess if you’re not taking order and all you’re doing is bringing my food out, then there’s not much servicing to do now is there…

Unacceptably awful! Although the hostess/order person was friendly, our waitress and food were greatly lacking. My club sandwich came out with browned, mushy avocado all over it! See pictures. Also, it took our waitress over 10 minutes to check back in and barely addressed us. Won’t be back with options like Kona and CPK so close in this mall!

I’m really conflicted rating the Nordstrom’s bistro. The food was really good — that I know I’d love to eat again and try new things. My waitress was good too but the girl who took our order acted like she had something better to do then help us. I told her I wanted to get a sandwich and could I get a side of fries to share with my daughter and instead of telling me that it came with my food she just charged me for another. She didn’t tell me that either of the sandwich’s we ordered came with fries our waitress seemed puzzled by this as well. I don’t like how it’s set up to order then have a waitress. I’d go back for the food but you know I hope that girls isn’t there again… at least now I know my food comes with fries.

I seem to always enjoy myself at any Café Bistro around the nation. It’s right there! You’re shopping, you get hungry, maybe need a drink because you cannot find the perfect outfit for the night… whatever it may be — it’s there & it’s delicious! I recommend any soup, the flat-iron steak, the desserts are great, and the pastas are typically large & flavorful! I usually have luck with their wine list too! **Just remember — bring cash for tip or you will have to wait in line to have them run the card again.**

Yum. I will come back for lunch again when I am out shopping. My 15 month old and I stopped in Nordstroms Café to eat and kill time before an appointment at Apple. I had the chicken and goat cheese sandwich. Soooo good. It came with a side of delicious olive tapanade(how do you spell that?). Also came with great french fries. The place was nice, but also accommodating to my young child. They have kids menus and high chairs. The food is wonderful, but quick. I would not come here on a date night or anything, but if you have to eat at Cherry Creek Mall, choose Nordstrom’s Café… I may even start making excuses to go to the mall just to lunch here again and have that amazing sandwich.

I get stuff off the kid’s menu, to-go. I work in the mall and am so sick of the food court food, so this is a nice change of pace and the kid’s menu isn’t outrageously priced. I wish I could work up the nerve to actually sit down in here and eat something off the real menu! Also, the crab soup is waaaaay salty.

Surprisingly good meal at the mall? Yes… very nice staff, nice exhibition kitchen, good wine selection. I’ve enjoyed the short rib sandwich, the crab bisque, and the french onion soup on more than one occasion. I am starting to make excuses to have to run down to Nordstrom’s even though I really don’t need anything, I think I might have a problem.

for a mall, who can fault a good wine list and dessert better than most 4 star eateries. Service was very good too!

Crab bisque was tasty. Nice little hangout for anyone. I particularly saw some women w their babies sleeping. The ladies were chatting and their babies were sleeping in their strollers. Sandwiches were good and what you would expect from a nordstroms product. Good quality at above average price point. I would go back again.

It was only after much resistance that I started eating at Nordstrom’s Café. My wife spends a lot of time at Nordstrom and she knows that one way to keep me shopping is to keep me fed. When my belly is full, I am more likely to give her input on which outfit looks best. As for the food, well, it is pretty good. There are a few items that are in my regular ordering pattern. The crab bisque, the steak and arugula salad, and the pizzas are at the top of my list. However, there are also many items I have sampled that just left me incomplete. I will not list them because they are all okay, but uninspired in my opinion. There is a multitude of aioli on the menu. I am not a big fan of aioli, so for me that is a minus, but you can get just about all of them on the side or omitted entirely. Overall, you probably can’t find a much better option in a mall. There service is almost always outstanding and friendly. If you have kids, they do offer a kids menu. My daughter loves the mac and cheese(who doesn’t) that comes with a side of fruit. They will also bring you crayons and coloring book.

THECRABBISQUE! YOUMUSTTRYITONLYHERE! Its AMAZING!!! You can tell I come here only for that. LOL Too bad they don’t have their signature crustinis. Tears… They use some type of flat bread panini now to accompany the crab bisque. The parmesan cheese crustinis were so goood with the crab bisque. mmmmm!!! Come here to eat for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is upscale yet warm and inviting. You will enjoy yourself here. You order and pay at the cashier first. Then you seat yourself. Don’t wait for someone to seat you or you will look foolish. hehehehe. I suggest the Crab Bisque, Steak Salad Vinagrette, all Sandwiches, and their Shoe String Fries.

I think this is one of those places that has some great staples and wish I could give it 3.5 stars. The chicken, artichoke and goat cheese salad with the spicy marinated peppers is fantastic. I get extra peppers I love them so much. Decent wine list for a department store café. Service is always good – try to remember to tip the server since they do not include it at the register. Update: they changed their menu and put a flank steak and white bean salad in place of my old standby :-(The new salad is actually also very good. After a moment of silence I asked the server to get me the ingredient list for the old salad I liked, which she kindly did. You can purchase the peppadew peppers, which are amazing, at Whole Foods from the olive bar. There are 2 kinds – buy them both, along with marinated artichokes, lettuce, a rotisserie chicken, good goat cheese and some high quality croutons and enjoy with your favorite balsamic dressing. Nordstrom café sells the Dijon Balsamic they used, which is a great dressing.

Just like Arlyn C., I used to work for Nordstrom back in the day! I think I spent the majority of every pay check in the café. Nordstrom(café and clothing) is one of my grandma’s favorite places. So when it came to eating lunch while we were shopping, I knew that was our only option. The service was extraordinary, as always, and the food was as good as I remembered. My grandma ordered the asian chicken salad(I used to get this every day) and I got the berry fig salad(because I love figs). Once I explained to grandma that the tall brown things in her salad were bread sticks not chop sticks, we were good to go! Both salads were delicious. And how can you complain about the chocolate mint sticks that come with your check? Perfection.
