Compares to Panera bread. I got the chicken Caesar flatbread which was great with loaded baked potatoes soup. Hubby got uptown turkey sandwich which was good. Giving a 3 for the slow service. Good place for lunch and breakfast if u are shopping at 16th street.

On Xmas eve my options for food were limited so here I am at corner bakery ordering take out breakfast. Selecting meal was simple. Cashier was friendly. Kids meals come with a beverage but case with selections was running low. Cashier did get oj from secret location. Wait for food was a bit long but not horrible. Seems to be short staffed and untidy around eating areas and coffee station. Food seemed decent and a good value. Location was good as well. But With so many other options I would not return.

Very bad service, after 25 min no food, my order got lost. And they don’t even apologize about it… Staff was very confused… Never again

Me and my son came here I got the uptown turkey and he got the homemade mac and cheese. My sandwich was ok at best and my son did not like his mac and cheese and after trying it myself i l can see why. Also we waited for over 30 min and they still hadn’t brought us our food. I finally went and asked if they had called our number yet and i saw it just sitting up there and the response from the empolyee was«sorry bro we’ve been fucking busy all day» maybe ill try this place again when its not so busy.

Took forever to order my chili and have my card charged and then to be told there was no chili so then I choose a salad and I’m charged for that. Instead of just giving me the salad since I’ve been waiting they recharge my credit card for the salad and now I have two charges on my credit card by they tell me one will be voided. The salad looks good however has one little tiny dressing and when I ask for more they give me another little tiny dressing. Afraid to ask the stingy person for more but my salad is extremely dry. Not a good experience.

It gets very busy during lunch time. Everything I’ve tried has been great. I absolutely love their smoothies!!!

Place is clean and the staff upbeat and friendly. Very happy with my «farmers scramble» when I finally received it. The kitchen is a little slow. It looked understaffed, so the glacial service time could be an outlier.

We stopped by here on a Sunday because a lot of other places weren’t open. My husband ordered a harvest salad and after he got it the guy who delivered it asked if we wanted an extra fork so we could share since they don’t set out silverware. My husband said yes and the guy never showed up again. Husband was a quarter of the way into his salad when he realized they hadn’t put any of the harvest croutons in it(he loves croutons). When he went up to ask about it he was told«oh, we are all out of croutons.» You would think they could have told him before he ordered the salad as he said he would have ordered something different. There was no apology or no reimbursement and it would have been nice to know before he ordered. The food is mediocre anyway, nothing special.

Good solid breakfast at a decent price. Pancakes were light and fluffy and had great taste. The eggs were also well prepared. My Hispanic waitress said«que?» When I asked for salsa. She did not know what that was. Otherwise, recommended for breakfast.

Had a bread bowl with chicken tortilla soup to go. Service is fast, nice, very organized. The soup was delicious! I was in a rush, so did not sit down and enjoy a cozy atmosphere accompanied with good music. However, the food, the inside of the restaurant, and their excellent service made me want to go back. More reviews from Corner Bakery Café to come!

The Anaheim Scrambler & Sandwich and coffee were fine… once they finally arrived. We waited 20+ minutes only to discover that they«lost» half the food order and gave us an empty cup for our latte! The only reason they didn’t get one star, was the the food runner was very apologetic, and went out of his way to quickly correct the problem. Management really needs to work on more training for the order takers.

Love everything about this place! Always come for the pancakes! Great coffee, smoothies, salads, and baked goods! Parking is a pain, but you won’t wait long to sit and eat.

Tasty food but terrible service. I ordered a spicy asian pork sandwich to go. Ten minutes later I am still waiting and everyone who came in after me has already gotten their food. I flag down a manager who takes my receipt and checks with the kitchen, then tells me there’s no record of the order. He went back to check again and claimed my order was the next one up. It should not take over ten minutes to get a simple sandwich, especially when there is no line. The manager gave me my food but never apologized for it taking so long. When I got back to my office, I saw that they had put in some kind of sauce in a cup but with no lid, so it has spilled all over my sandwich and was coagulating at the bottom of the clamshell. It turned into more of a fork-and-knife sandwich but it was definitely yummy. I don’t know whether I’ll go back, though – there are so many food options around with better service.

This should really be more of a 2.5 stars and although that would round up to 3, I just can’t give 3 stars. The service is good, everyone is super friendly, but I’m always disappointed. Now if you look at my Unilocal reviews, you’ll notice I’m no stranger to heavy food. However, every time I eat here, I feel a little gross and unsatisfied. For lunch yesterday I got the turkey club panini and it was doused w mayo… I love mayo, but it was just too much. I ordered with a side of Mac n cheese and couldn’t eat it. It was just so heavy. I keep trying to find something I like, but I find myself bummed out most of the time. I think I’ve finally given up.

I work across the street from this place and had never been here before. Not sure I’ll go back. While the service was fine and the food came out faster than expected, the ingredients left much to be desired. I ordered the Santa Fe Ranch salad. What I got was a large plastic container full of low quality taco filling. Don’t waste your lunch with a salad from this place, I’ve seen higher quality at Wendy’s. Gave the two stars because the interior was pleasant and the service was quick. But the food quality… no thanks.

I love this place! Love the atmosphere and vibe and the food is delicious. Had lunch and dinner here. Unfortunately we don’t live in denver anymore. But this is definitely an amazing spot. The baked french toast and eggs are to die for!

Think of this place like a Panera. I was hoping for a mom and pop bakery that served all sorts of delicious pastries. There are pastries, but this seems more like a soup and sandwich sort of establishment. Breakfast panini was way too oily, I feel it in my stomach 15 mins after eating it. I would pass on this place. Check out some of the cool coffee places around here instead.

Good place to grab a quick lunch. Sandwiches are great and they have mouthwatering pastries that tempt you into also buying dessert. Service was quick and the staff was friendly. The Wifi was an added bonus as I ate my lunch!

I’ve come in here twice now before a movie on a cold night. Both times this place has saved me from the cold and fed me some deliciousness. Both times they’ve had some interesting characters sitting inside as well. First time we came, we sat down and had a sandwich and soup combo. It’s kinda pricey I guess for what it is but it’s comparable to like. Panera Bread. They give you good size portions and it’s been tasty food. There was a, I want to say homeless man, having a situation with the bathroom and police(?). Not sure what happened there but it was entertaining. Second time I split a Club BLT with my wife and wow it was tasty. The tomato and bread together almost had a bruschetta feel to it then add bacon and turkey and you’re golden. We enjoyed it. This time there were mimes sitting down inside. I want to say mimes because they had their face painted and were wearing black. and weren’t talking lol. Not sure what they were doing besides hiding from the cold. I like this place and would come back often.

I really like this Corner Bakery Café location, especially over the other 16th Mall spot. It’s huge, having some nice spaces to hunker down and do some work on the laptop or read a book. Perhaps I’ve been in at odd times, but it’s never been even close to busy here. Food has always come out fast. I’ve had their tomato basil soup, mac ‘n cheese, and tuna salad sandwich — all which were quite tasty for fast casual food. And although I haven’t had breakfast at this location in particular, I’m a big fan of eating at CBC in general for the most important meal of the day. If you’re going to go to a Corner Bakery Café on 16th, go to this one. Friendly staff, good space, and quick on the eats.
