First time yesterday. Amazing pizza. Got a huge, huge pizza for $ 20. I’d go back for sure next time I’m in the area. Seems like a great place to hang out, grab a beer, and eat pizza.

My friend Cassidy ordered two pieces of pizza and there was hair inside. They returned the money but offered her no pizza to take. She is starving. I recommended her just to be treated poorly. I’m not recommending this place anymore! :/

Came in specifically for Denver Biscuit Co. but couldn’t resist trying a slice of pizza. Pepperoni and black olives, to be exact. The crust was a little too crunchy for my taste, but I thought the pizza was really yummy. They did not skimp on toppings either, which is nice. Would definitely come back if I was in the area and craving pizza.

So… love generally love this place. ‘They have a bad pie about 1out of every 6 deliveries, the kind of pie where you throw your hands up and say… ok, they are super busy; I forgive them. My problem is the sauces… they charge .$ 50 a sauce and never deliver what you order. They probably owe me $ 30 in undelivered sauces. It doesn’t seem that bad, but when they short you 1 to 2 dollars a sauce, it really adds up. Wouldn’t be a big issue, but when you charge and don’t deliver… again and again seems like a ploy to cheat your customers instead of cover costs. Is ranch really &.50 per 2 tablespoons, doubt it.

This was my first time here and the pizza by the slice was good! We came here just before their dinner rush and I’m so glad we did. Service was great. Our waiter was on point! There was a moment we all ordered drinks and condiments and he repeated it all back to us without having to write it down. Great memory! I’m glad we came before the dinner rush because once it got busy we didn’t see our waiter that much but that’s okay! I work in the restaurant biz so I know what’s it like to have groups of people walk in at once. If I could rate our service I’d give him 10 stars! Price is fair and we will defiantly be back to try and make it for breakfast some day!

I’ve been here several times. The pizza is always tasty and fresh. Although you pay by the topping for slices, they do not skimp on toppings. My go-to is the bacon pineapple. The slices are huge and beautifully foldable. I went for the Canadian bacon today, but it was not as good as bacon. Bacon and pineapple for life!

Came here on a late Friday night because we were craving pizza at 12am. It’s great that they’re open so late! What’s also cool is that Fat Sully’s is attached to the Atomic Cowboy, so you can get pizza at Fat Sully’s, grab some drinks, and lounge around with friends; it’s a pretty cool space. The pizza slices btw, are HUGE. I’m not a big fan of New York style pizza, but for $ 2-something you can get a slice of pizza that’s the size of your face! It’s too good of a deal to pass on, especially when you’re looking for an easy late night snack.

I’m posting the same review at both locations(South Broadway and East Colfax) as I’ve been to both. Watch out for the signs at the Colfax location. I got a ticket because I didn’t walk down 4 cars to see that I was in a permit only section(lame). Onto the review. What’s there not to know and love when you find out. It’s pizza. Good New York style pizza. With huge slices. They do the toppings right. They passed my default test(order a slice with mushrooms and see if the shrooms are fresh, and well cooked(not raw)). My son loves it here but he thought he could order two slices. Our waiter was nice enough to help talk him out of that since he’s in that«everything bigger is better» phase. I was glad the waiter didn’t try to gouge me with the up-sell either. Staff was really nice. Ambiance is on the darker side(nothing wrong with that) and they have a variety of tables and sizes to fit your mood of how to enjoy some slice goodness. I’ll be back, and already have.

Slices are totally huge! But kinda on the pricey side, yes they are huge but also very thin. I like the ambiance a lot of Atomic Cowboy. Overall good spot to grab a late night slice.

We ordered carry out for an employee lunch. We had wanted to order delivery but they don’t start until 4 p.m. which is a tad annoying. So we got carry out and wound up with two enormous pies. We built our own and didn’t go crazy with toppings. It was $ 80 for two pies by the end of the story. Was it worth that? The pizza was decent but everyone of us(four employees total) were bloated and felt sick for the rest of the day.

This place is amazing. It’s true New York style pizza where the slices are huge and the cheese is gooey. We had come here in the morning when it was Denver biscuit co but never to fat sully’s and boy have we been missing out! First and foremost, it’s build your own slice. Great for couples who like different toppings or big groups where people can’t decide! We love love loved this! I always want extra veggies on my pizza and my hubby never does so this was perfect. Secondly, the slices are huge. I typically eat 2 – 3 slices of pizza and could barely finish one! I was amazed with how big they were. Definitely getting a lot of bang for your buck! Finally, the service was awesome. Our server was attentive without hovering which was great. She made sure our order was correct(the hubs pizza was slightly intense — oops!). We will definitely be back both for Denver biscuit co and fat sully’s. Thanks for being awesome!

I go here whenever I definitely want leftover pizza. Have tried a few different kinds and all have been very good. The wait time is a little long to get the food, but I think it’s worth it.

Oh Fat Sully’s how I love thee. We’d been having a pizza craving, finally made the trip to Fat Sully’s and left with an addiction. We only ordered a slice each, but don’t think that if you order a slice that you’ll be leaving hungry. I’m pretty sure the crust as about 7 inches long. I also loved that you could customize your slice and get it with whatever you want! We’d been to DBC before, but didn’t notice that they had games back by the host stand that you could grab and play if you wanted. We sat there on an early Sunday evening playing Sorry! and eating pizza… perfect! We’ll be back!

I live in NY now and I still have no idea what constitutes NYC pizza but if this is what Fat Sully’s is making, its delicious! For a night in, my husband and I ordered using their phone app and got a pizza with onions and bacon delivered. It was so tasty. The pizza slices were huge and the toppings were perfect. They even give you little packets of cheese and crushed red pepper, which is the only place in my life that has done that. I’m definitely a fan. Too bad Fat Sully’s isn’t in NY.

Tonight I ordered a pizza online from Fat Sully’s on my phone. The user interface was easy to use and it let me build a custom pizza — so far so good. The order processed at 5:45ish and they sent me an order confirmation email that stated that my pizza would be ready for pick-up at 6:46pm. Fair enough. It’s a Friday night so I knew it would be busy. One hour seemed good. Turns out it was too good to be true. My husband showed up on time to pick it up. They hadn’t even started the pizza yet. They told him it would be another 20 minutes and have him a hard time when he appeared frustrated. If they would have said 7:06pm or even 7:30pm originally(for them to add in a buffer on busy nights) that would have been fine with us. But we didn’t get an email with an updated pick-up time… and now it’s 7:15pm and my husband is still standing there… How long should he wait for a pizza that is the product of this lackluster customer experience? Update: At 7:40pm, after waiting a hour standing outside, my husband finally left — without a pizza. He tried to tell them them he was leaving and that we would dispute the charges with our credit card… but they wouldn’t even acknowledge him so he just left.

Giant, high priced, mediocre pizza with terrible service and no parking in sight?! This place is for you! My own fault for coming back a few times. I just really, really wanted to like this place. Kudos to their marketing team. If you order over the phone, play it safe and add 30 minutes to the quoted time. The cold pizza will be better than basking in their too cool service on their«patio». There’s breakfast too. Serve your own code after waiting in line for 45 minutes. The biscuits are incredibly promising except that the onion heavy gravy drowns out any semblance of taste.

Really? A pizza as big as a hula hoop where you can hide your head behind each slice??? Dinner at Fat Sully’s literally consists of 1, count em — 1 — slice of pizza(and to make it a healthy meal…) accompanied by their delicious side salad, which puts most side salads to shame, given all the tasty toppings included. I hear that Fat Sully’s has been around, nestled along with the Atomic Cowboy Bar, for 8 years or so. Had N E V E R been there before. So discovering this place was a great surprise that makes me, yee-haw, one happy cowboy. So, if you’re getting ready for a(pizza) pie-eating contest or maybe in training for an outing to Fogo de Chao to eat a cow, then Fat Sully’s(and the AC Bar) should be on your workout schedule. The pizza is truly excellent, and they’ve got a wonderful list of Colorado and other brewskis on tap/bottled. As Granny would say, «Great pizza and beer: What could go wrong?» Sign me, David ‘Yee-Haw” M. P. S. For the lite-weights, Mr. Sully does offer smaller 20″ za and«personal pies,» too.

Fat Sully’s, I wish I knew how to quit you. Wait. Scratch that. I don’t wanna quit you at all. Fat Sully, whomever you are(or «were»), you create my all-time favorite(non-Chicago-style) pizza. I just adore you for that. But I adore you for other reasons, too. You’re sorta in my hood. You’re awake at weird hours. You deliver. My standard Fat Sully’s pie during the boyfriend days, was a 20-inch, half Canadian bacon, pineapple ‘n shrooms, and half whatever the boyfriend liked, which is now a memory that’s been purged from my brain, along with the boyfriend and his dirty socks. My standard Fat Sully’s pie these(single, post-boyfriend) days is a 20-inch ALL Canadian bacon, pineapple ‘n shrooms. Last Saturday was the first time I utilized the delivery, and my pizza arrived well before the estimated time. That’s a GOODTHING, especially on a Saturday night. Also, ordering and paying online(«in your underwear!») was an absolute breeze. I’ve never eaten inside the Atomic Cowboy establishment: prior to last week we’d/I’d only ordered and picked up from(or called in the order and picked up from) the to-go/pick-up window. If you’ve used the window, you know that you get to glimpse inside the pizza-making operation, which, given the ginormousness of the pies created within, is minute in size, and holds between four and six human pizza-creators rather uncomfortably! As I mentioned, I’m kinda a «don’t mess with a good thing» kinda girl, so I’ve not tried other toppings, but the pizzas I’ve had have always been consistently great. I’m kind of over the whole«what qualifies as New York Pizza?» debate situation, I just know what *I* like, and it’s Fat Sully’s. The crust is thin, crispy on the edges but with a good chew, the center is firm enough that it doesn’t dissolve when you pick it up, the sauce is very basic, consisting of imported Italian tomatoes; not too salty, not too herby and not too sweet. The cheese has just the right amount of stretch and mild saltiness, and the toppings are MMMM! Also, with a 20-inch pie, the slices are HUGE and totally TOTALLY foldable, which I realize is of very high importance to folks who really care about the whole New York pizza situation. Yeah, Fat Sully’s, you just keep doing you. I ain’t gonna quit you any time soon.

YUM, yum, yum! We stopped in after the Broncos game on Thursday night. We had actually dined there earlier in the day(at Denver Biscuit Company, which shares the space) and decided to return for some pizza. I’m glad that we did! We each just ordered a slice, rather than an entire pie. These slices are HUGE! We were both stuffed and could barely finish. Basically, the slices start out as just cheese, and then you can add whatever toppings you’d like. They have a great beer selection, which includes many local rotating taps. The service was fast and friendly(unlike earlier in the day). The only thing that confused me was the music pumping so loud as you walked in(trying to be a club almost), and the fact that we had to show our ID to enter. It was 9:30 on a Thursday night… just weird. Otherwise, it was a great place with delicious pizza!

I was so sure about a 4-start rating at least, but the 12-inch pie and the time it took to cook killed it. What was I thinking? Oh probably thought even with a 12-inch, they’d still slice it the way they do with individual pieces, eater error! And our super sweet waitress did inform us about the 20 – 30 minute preparation time for a whole pizza. It’s amazing how foldable the individual slices are yet our 12-in was the exact opposite, it’s so hard that I wondered if they used the same dough! We were allowed to do half and half for the pie so I covered ½ with Canadian Bacon and Garlic and the other ½ with Sautéed Onions and Anchovies. Unless you’re ready to drink a gallon of water with your meal, do not get the anchovies. It was my first time as well, and BIG rookie mistake! Do get the house salad though, it’s incredible! We ordered the share size and each got a dressing, when mixing the two together(honey lemon and chipotle ranch), it’s veggie heaven! I’m starting to think these guys know salads better than pizza(shhhh…) Did I mention how sweet our server was? I should’ve gotten her name. She works both shifts at Fat Sully’s and the Denver Biscuit Company(they share the restaurant but with opposite hours, a neat concept!). Before we checked out, she brought us a humongous Cinnamon Roll(leftover from the Biscuit Company that day) drenched in super-yummy icing, the white stuff was so buttery, just the right sweetness and texture, it totally distracted me from the roll itself. I could’ve had that icing drizzled on my pizza and be happy! ;-) Have I described just how big it is? The 5 of us shared it and a couple of them even had seconds! The place is really really loud, I don’t know why our friend decided to introduce his new girlfriend to us here, it’s definitely not a romantic setting, lol. If I come back again, it’ll only be for NY style slices and the salad. Until then, 3.5 stars
