They have great burgers and fries, also it’s nice that they use paper for to go orders rather than plastic, huge fan of that!

It’s a very busy and lively place. I was here with 24 people. Obviously we sat on 4 different tables but that was ok. Even thought it was a Saturday and very busy, the food came out very quickly and the waitress was always there whenever we needed something.

Been to this place a couple of times and the food is good. Today however I waited 20 min for the female bartender to take my order. I’m seeing this more and more at bars. If the bartender is female she’ll shit on you unless you’re flirting with her or look like you got a lot of money.

I was really jonesing for a good burger, so my wife and I decided to try out Highland Tap and Burger. I immediately liked the atmostphere and could imagine myself enjoying an ice cold beer on a Sunday afternoon while watching the big games. Even though it was happy hour, we decided to pass on drinks and instead ordered the«Crispy Jalapeño and Cheddar Pierogies» appetizer. I’m always happy when I see this East Coast gem on any menu, so I couldn’t pass it up. I was pleasantly surprised when the pierogies came out quickly but was even more suprised(and not pleasantly) to only see two on the plate(I could probobly eat a dozen by myself but realistically would’ve expected to see four in an order). My wife and I dug in to our one pierogi each, and I wish I could tell you if they were good or not. They were served more like loaded potatoes, slathered in sour cream, bacon, and green onions, and that’s pretty much all I remember tasting! Next came our entrees. My wife ordered the special(three meatball sliders with cheese curds) and I got the basic $ 10 «Shroom Luvas» burger. The burger was everything I had hoped for, juicy and charred to perfection. I also had a bite of the meatball sliders, and the flavor of the meatballs was incredible. HTB really hit it out of the park with both entrees. I was still a little bummed about spending $ 8 for the loaded-potato-skin pierogies when we got our bill and saw they were on happy hour($ 5, but still not worth it even for that price, so don’t be tempted!). That put our final bill at $ 27 before tip, which I was very pleased with given the quality of our food!

The mushroom burger(shroom luva’) has a terrible name but is one of the best burgers I’ve had in many years. Onion rings were solid too. Eric our server was great, very attentive. Try the Lincoln’s mittens sans sugar syrup. Tart and delicious! They have a large beer selection of you like that. The bar was extremely loud but expected for a Friday night. They even have soundproofing on the ceiling and a cork wall, but it was still hard to hear my friends at the table. I would definitely eat here again.

The Chicken Tikka Masala Poutine is out of the world good. They have a great Happy Hour as well. Unfortunately the hosts are always rude and unorganized. I’ve called ahead for reservations many times and they say they don’t take them. As soon I get there and see open tables I ask and they say«They’re reserved». Yet they don’t take reservations. Go figure. Can’t let the terrible hosts take away from great food though.

Love the garage style doors that can open up. You think it’s an average bar upon first glance… then you look at the menu. I was starving as I had just come back to town after fighting cancelled flights at the airport and found out I wasn’t going anywhere due to the unexpected snowfall. Not sure then why I got the mac & cheese. Should have gotten a lamb burger… that’s on me. However, I will say the beer selection is awesome. Each person in my group found something unique, and the server stopped by frequently to check up on us(with a cool sense of humor) — He also gave us good advice on where to bar hop later. If you’re in the mood for top notch red meat and craft beer, you really can’t go wrong here.

Woo-hoo! HTB is your go to place for a great burger and beer. This place rocks ! Love their endless beer selection, craft on tap — what more can you ask for? Well, they have some amazing food and their service is top notch! We come here for lunch because its close to the office and they have some excellent items. Lamb burger is divine and they even have a 22.00 burger(served with foie gras) for those with a discerning palate, and a wallet to match… that is something I have yet to try, but I do love their burger selection. Their shroom medly burger is my favorite and I do love their sauces– fries with a side of horseradish is my jam! I love their salads also– Brusselsprouts salad is absolutely delightful. I love their food! They have a million tvs, it’s a great place to catch a game and have a beer and burger with your friends, on game days they do get busy, so make a reservation(if you can). Love this place — it is a quintessential neighborhood hang that has all the fixins’.

Tried this place only one and obviously tried their Shroom Luva’s burger and it was absolutely delicious! This place has a great energy and the server was great! Definitely recommended to try at least once if you’re in the Highlands.

Dipped in for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. Server was professional, quick, helpful — a nice treat for off peak visit. The burger in the name of the establishment is no joke — limited menu but solid options. My lady enjoyed her veggie burger and I had a great lamb burger. The tap selection was solid, local focused by flavor/color etc. In sum, a place that has found a sweet spot between families, sports parties, highlands party people and foodies. A nice niche and they have undoubtedly helped influence the development of the neighboring foodie hub!

Highland Tap at first glance is your typical sports bar /burger place /neighborhood hangout spot. It’s a great place to grab some craft brew for sure but the food is actually pretty good. The funny thing is we ended up here because line at Uncle was too long: the plan was to grab a beer while we waited but we decided to make a meal of it when w saw mussels and duck fat fries in to menu! The aforementioned were great and a request was made for extra bread to soak up the white wine and lemon sauce. We also shared the signature burger which comes with a not-insignificant patty. Several large pieces of crispy, salty, applewood, smoked bacon were the perfect counterpoint to the juicy burger.(When in doubt always add bacon!) There are lots of places to a beer and grub in this town. Highland Tap might not be the best of them all but will surely satisfy a craving and will not disappoint.

This place is so bomb. Last time we were there was for the Colts/Broncos game which the Colts won! Our server Eric gave great service and made some good suggestions. This last time I went I had the bacon burger which was excellent. I have also had the Shroom Luva before which was also very good. What really impresses me though would have to be their chicken wings. Gosh, these have the taste of port-a-pit chicken since they are smoked to flavor. Definitely get the wings. Great diverse beer selection too.

I don’t know. Maybe it was me and the group I was with the day I came here, or maybe I just didn’t like the place. The food is fine, pretty good actually. The staff is nice, pretty sharp, and pleasant. The location is fine, parking is a little tough, but that is the local are and nothing to do with them. The prices are kind of high but nothing crazy. I just expected more of a bar situation, specifically a bar situation with the sound on for the CUCSU game. But it didn’t happen here. We were in the actual dining room, away from the bar itself, and the sound wasn’t on. Had called ahead to see if they were going to show the game with sound, which was confirmed as such. Disappointing. I dunno. Maybe I was just really looking for a sports bar situation. Probably.

Loved the beer list, wait staff, and atmosphere. I’d go back. Unfortunately, the wings were a disappointment. The sauce didn’t stick to the wings and there wasn’t much flavor in the wings otherwise.

Lucky me, it was my second chance to pick the restaurant to be dined at within 4 days, and like the gluttonous slob I am I picked a burger joint twice in a row. Me and my best bud enjoyed this place for the drinks, food, and service! This place was poppin at 7:30 on a Wednesday night! There was even a small wait but it was only about 5 minutes. Once seated, we started with cocktails and since Tito’s is my favorite spirit, the moment I saw it in a drink I had made my decision. It was the«Sorry Ms Jackson» oooh I am for reallllll I loved this drink and would get it again. My friend hardly drinks alcohol but she downed her Moulin Rouge. Good start lol I was«THAT» person and when I ordered HTB Smashed Burger my order went like this: «But, can I get it without a bun or wrapped in lettuce. Also no onions. And instead of the fries that it comes with can I substitute a salad, dressing on the side?» I was trying to go low-carb. Truly depressing. Anyway, I felt like a pain in the a** but our waitress(Keiley I believe?) acted like it was no big deal. She was seriously awesome! And everything was really, really good! The sauce on the burger even had chunks of bacon in it, I mean come on! It doesn’t get better than that! I went back and forth between 4 – 5 stars with this place, but the fact that they had viewing parties for The Bachelorette, hosted by the dreamiest contestant(and soon to be The Bachelor) Ben H., sealed the deal on 5 stars. I mean if Ben H. likes this place, so do I. Hey Ben H. Call me. We can split a lettuce-wrapped burger. *insert heart-eye emoji here*

Highland Tap & Burger has character, which is why I like coming here. Whether they’re supporting the HTB Run Club on Wednesday’s, or having a cool party sponsored by Red Bull, it’s a fun place to be. I think the food is A-OK, & gets the job done. I really enjoy coming here for the atmosphere. I like to sit outside & relax after a day of work. Ask for the local HTB beer, it’s great value.

I dig Highland Tap and Burger. They have an awesome patio plus a spacious inside with a rocking menu and beer list. I’ve been for both brunch and dinner and brunch is definitely my favor the two. I had a pulled chicken hash with goat cheese and it was quite wonderful and was on the wallet. Yeah, they had good burgers with just the right amount of burgers on the menu but the Rocky Mountain Burger made with Lamb and a generous portion of goat cheese(do you see a theme with me?) left me wanting more. I feel like I inhaled it within a few bites and could have had another burger to fill the void. Service has always been great here, quick and helpful staff(oddly enough we had the same server for both brunch and dinner!) All in all, a solid stop while in the Highlands but if you’re hungry you may want to get an appetizer first!

This place makes me happpppppy!!! I just love it. I have been here 3 times and each time was fantastic experience. Most notably are the burgers and salads. I’ve tried two of each and both left my mouth watering for more! The quinoa salad is huge and is more than filling as an entrée. The brussel sprouts salad is fantastic with the roasted sprouts in top and a creamy vinaigrette dressing. The burgers are cooked to perfection and they have something to suit everybody’s taste buds. The last time I was there we had the burger special which was topped with blue cheese, bacon and caramalized onions. Hard to go wrong with a combo like that! Fun atmosphere with loads of tvs and copious amounts of people watching. Be sure to check out this gem in the Highlands!

Been dying to try this place ever since I saw that it won a few burger contests around the area. They do take reservations but not thurs fri or sat! Came around 7:15 on a Thursday and it was getting pretty busy so make sure to head here a little earlier if you are hungry! Lots of street parking in the area though. Service was good but there were 5 beers ordered that they were out of. 5 different beers! Maybe they should update their menus and their wait staff as the night goes on(this could save everyone time). We started with the Mac and cheese which was delicious! Thanks for using shell pasta. I then got myself their famous mushroom burger and it is everything that is heaven. Buttery bun and a juicy burger! It was so good and just the right size in my hands! By the time we left, the bar area was packed and there was music pumping. Dunno if you are into that atmosphere or not but just an fyi.

By the time I went here, I was somewhat already drunk. but we ordered more drinks, and the beer was delicious! Our waitress offered us a great selection of flight, and they were all very good! The food that I remembered, and actually took pictures of, before I was too drunk to remember, are: — HTB Nachos(w/Chicken) — House-made white corn tortilla chips, sofrito black beans, pickled jalapenos, Roma tomato, white cheddar & American cheeses, salsa verde, crema, scallions — delicious nachos, nothing that blew my mind, but was good — Duck Fat Fries — Parsley, parmesan & white truffle aioli — when isn’t duck fat fries good? C’mon now! Great place to grab some drinks and snacks!
