This place will cater to Pittsburgh fans before Denver. The whole back section was a pit house. There was a fight in the back the pit guy was at fault but he stayed and the Bronco fans got kicked out! What up with that? This place is the pits!

WHO knew this was the place for watching the Gators play!!! Well Jackson’s does a great job of hosting the Florida Gators Alumni for their games upstairs. There are lots of tables and the prerequisite for sharing a table is having fun! Only one thing I noticed and not bad but noticeable is a server shortage, they could use a few more wait staff, as our waiter as wonderful as he was seemed to be 15 – 20 minutes between orders and dropping food and drink. It was crazy busy and he had to run downstairs to check out and it seemed to put orders in other than drinks. He seemed to be covering a ton of tables and was weaving in and out trying to get to everyone. He wasn’t slow just swamped. I think he did a great job trying to care for everyone. The Gator I was with said, they were used to waiting, which to me means less drinking and lots of folks not eating, just saying;-) On the plus side the food was darn tasty, and I would recommend Jackson’s for having really consistent tasting bar food, salads and burgers. I was hungry so when my food finally arrived(Boneless Chicken Wings) they were warm and not dressed in buffalo sauce making the light breaded chicken do something similar to the Gator clap in my mouth… If you are a Gator then you will know the Gator clapping is something to be seen if you are not like me — google it. I like the staff, the food, and especially their hospitality which is important when a few hundred college fans get together to cheer on their team. I will return again and next time I am having their taco salad or nachos I saw them being delivered to another table and I like what I saw, and what I overheard was YUMMY!

So it is well known that Jackson’s is loyal to a number of different sports teams, namely the Oregon Ducks, my proud alma mater. I have spent many boozy eveninngs here having a good time cheering on my team. I can say that the service is consistently good at the least but most recently stellar. They were on point with making sure we always had beer on the table and even gave us a pitcher of ice to put our beer on when we hit a lull. I can’t ask for better service! Ill be back tomorrow to cheer the Ducks on vs Stanford. Thanks again Jackson’s!

Haven’t been here in a very long time. We went for the Alabama LSU game. We ordered drinks and food. The drinks were ok… we are finding fewer and fewer places with good bar tenders. but I only sent my drink back once. The food was marginal. .except the nachos were actually good. Tip… order your nachos with almost everything on the side. Get the peppers and guacamole and sour cream on the side… we saw other people not do this and ours was much better looking and not all soggy. I would go back… it’s a great place for a game…

Jacksons is one of the best sports bars around and definitely the best Washington Capitals bar in Denver. The staff is quick and accommodating. Big TVs, Great food and Cold Beer! Weekends or weekdays the bar is filled with avid caps fans. Rock The Red!

BESTWASHINGTONCAPITALSBARINDENVER Jackson’s is by far the best Capitals sports bar in Denver. They were extremely accommodating and as excited as we were for the caps. The atmosphere was incredible and they had great management who were constantly trying to make sure we were in the best environment possible. I would highly HIGHLY recommend any Washington Capitals fan to join us for the 2015 – 2016 season at Jacksons. The new and only WASHINGTONCAPITALSBAR!

I’m being generous with two stars and that’s only because we had a nice waitress — otherwise it would be one. I’m told this is the largest sports bar in Denver. It seems like it could be — it’s pretty big. We came here to watch a college game on Saturday. We were the ONLYTWOPEOPLE in this really large establishment. And we asked if we could have sound on our tv to watch the game. The manager said — only if you are an alumni. Seriously? Our nephew is the center for Illinois — and that wasn’t enough. Not another soul watching any game anywhere and we had to listen to the Airforce game while watching ILLINI. We had our bloody Mary and left.

Great location, large interior. On hot days they have air circulation but are a bit stingy with the air conditioning, so when inside I continued to sweat. I enjoyed the super friendly service, noted that the bar top and floors were a bit sticky and needed a wipedown/mop something fierce. They have a wide-ranging beer selection and served it up ice cold which almost made up for the lack of cold air… I noticed that the clientele can be a bit on the douchey side but then again this is a sports bar in downtown Denver.

Jackson’s is a Top of the line Gators bar located in Downtown Denver right across from Coors field, making it a perfect pre-game spot for a Rockies game or Gators Game. They have a ton of televisions, 2 stories, with a cool Open rooftop patio W a nice view of the Denver skyline. On Saturday’s, this place is the official spot for the Denver Rocky Mountain Gators Club with all TV’s on the gators game on 2nd floor, a blow up Albert gator, tons of gator flags, gators banners, and a cable that a gator slides down after each touchdown. I was blown away to see that this place is bigger and better decorated than the gators club’s official bar in Tampa, Florida which is only an hour and a half from the university in a town with much more Gators. Prices were pretty average for the area with Blue moon pitchers for $ 10, Coors pitchers for $ 7, mixed drinks for $ 5, burgers for $ 10. I was surprised to see a pickle juice pitcher which is for a pickle back which is a Jameson chased with pickle juice. Everything was very good and service was surprisingly quick for how packed the place was. Once the bartender threw away my drink by accident and without hesitation or argument he gave me another full blue moon which was more than I had when I threw it away, so I can’t complain. They had gator Cornhole, shuffleboard, and a cool brew bucket game. Awesome venue! I’ll be telling the Tampa Gators Club about this for sure! Go Gators! :)

I like this place a lot and the staff is upbeat throughout the day. How they pull it off is beyond me. You’ll pay a little more for being within a stone’s throw from Coor’s Field. However, the menu items and beer are not ballpark prices. Great for pre-gaming and the after party alike. I’d go back again and again. Gets crowded pretty quick so good thing they also have the deck out back to entertain!

Jackson’s is always a good pre-Rockies game hangout. Good beer on tap and in bottles and usually a beer special of some kind.

Popped by here on a Saturday afternoon around ~3pm. The inside had ample guests, though the patio is what we were looking for. It was empty, which was wonderful, though we still had servers coming out to check on us. Love the astroturf and ample seating options. There’s also a second level deck, which we have yet to be on, but have seen packed before Rockies games. Also discovered that Saturday nights are ladies nights from 9 – 1230. Free good quality liquors and so we’ll definitely be back!

Do you think you should be able to get drunk off of $ 83.00 worth of drinks? Half off Moscow mules on Mondays… Except you have to order two times what you would normally order(and end up spending the same amount of money) because they’re so weak. I don’t like to complain about the strength of drinks, but I seriously ordered multiple mules, a shot, and a few wells and didn’t feel anything. I don’t drink often and am not a huge person physically, and I have gone to other bars and ordered less drinks and felt much more. Between my boyfriend and I, we spent around $ 83 on drinks, and found that the beers were stronger than any of the mixed drinks we got. I’ve been here on a weekend night and had a blast — the unlimited drinks for $ 5 were great, but I would not recommend coming during their happy hour if you want to feel any type of buzz. Also, our waitress could not answer any of our questions about how much draft beers were vs craft beers or other questions related to price/type of beer. She could have been new, but either way, I would make sure to know the basics before serving customers.

Perfect sports bar(especially for a Steelers fan)! There are TVs everywhere, three rooms(the back room dedicated to Steelers games making it a haven for any Western PA transplant), skee ball and an outdoor patio. The staff has always been friendly and attentive in my experience even during busy sports days. They usually have good drink specials(domestic pitchers for $ 10 or Agave Wheat drafts for $ 4). The food is okay, better than an average sports bar but not 5-Star worthy either. Sign up for free on the Jackson’s app to play«football bingo.» Just log-in and the game keeps track of your squares for you — when players/teams compile stats you get closer to a bingo. They award 3 prizes per half and prizes include free drafts, shots and collectible jerseys. I won a throwback Donnie Shell Steelers jersey during this Sunday night’s Pittsburgh-Carolina game!

I’ve only been to Jackson’s a total of three times during the 15 months I’ve lived in Denver. Once for a Chamber event, once for Opening Day, and once for Lunch this past week. Did you know Jackson’s has a delicious snackie menu made fresh to order?! I certainly did NOT! Fried Pickles, Cheese Curds, Pigs in a Blanket, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Pizzas, Wings, Philly Cheesesteak, and I could keep going! While a downtown Denver-goer may read this and ask«So? That’s sports bar food.» WRONG! Jackson’s has actually done an amazing job of bringing in quality ingredients and creating multiple bursts of flavors on each bite! I am obsessed with their Philly! Oh and their Ranch Dressing — my favorite yet… ever! But here’s the kicker that truly shocked me… they have private dining spaces throughout the restaurant that I was completely unaware of! I accidentally stumbled upon one space, so I asked to see more. Equipped with AV, multiple table configuration possibilities, indoor & outdoor seating, private bars, etc. I was very impressed. Too bad I just had my wedding in Saint Louis! This is perfect for a Rehearsal Dinner or a baseball fan’s Wedding dream(as it is located across the street from Coors Field)! Apparently they have separate banquet menus too… I didn’t get that far, but they said they did not mirror their regular menu, rather offered a variety of upscale entrees & accompaniments to choose from! I don’t know, but I was totally blown away by such an unexpected find. I really can’t think of another spot downtown that can be a Corporate Luncheon location by day, Rehearsal Dinner venue by evening, and Sports Bar by night… all properly accommodated in different rooms around the restaurant! Who would’ve known?!
