Food was good. Enjoyed the vegetarian chili option. It took quite a while for the food to come, but the waiter was very nice, and we weren’t in a hurry. Pork chili was good, not outstanding. Well priced. Souvlaki chicken was excellent for the price. Accommodating for special orders, too.

Very nice servers; simple, delicious diner food at a great price. This is my new favorite diner in the Highlands /Lo-Hi area.

Amazing people! We met Nick, his wife, and daughter at a wedding. Nick is very passionate about what he serves, and will take great care of you. Great menu items. Try them out as soon as possible. You won’t be disappointed!

First time wandering in. It’s a great little diner. Not alot of bells and whistles yet the staff is friendly and it’s comfortable. It reminds me of the old neighborhood diner before the big chains took over. Menu looks diverse enough that I’ll be back to try more.

««« Ignore any poor reviews — I read them and they are all about having to wait a long time for the food which to me, is a good sign that the food is great! I love this place. I was looking for a diner-diner — you know, great food, cool atmosphere, no pretension & that’s what I found. On top of that there’s a lot to choose from & many items are creative & eclectic, which I love — and show a passion for inventive cooking. I heard amazing things about the breakfast burrito with green chile, the California skillet & the Porkchop & eggs but I went simple — 2 eggs over hard, bacon & blueberry pancakes(you can add blue berries or chocolate chips for .79 cents which is a steal considering the freshness & the portion). Great service by Vanessa! This is my new breakfast spot(though the dinner menu looked fantastic!)

Great breakfast burritos! I had the gyro one and the wife had just the basic one. We loved them both. We’ll be back for sure.

The food is fantastic and the portions are generous. If you’re looking for top notch diner food this is it. The three star rating is for the service. You have to track down your server. They are never around and don’t float around the dinning room with coffee or water.

Nicks diner is a casual breakfast joint with friendly and panicky staff. A bus boy may help the seating situation with the hangry patrons lounging by the door. The hash browns are like crispy unseasoned mashed potatoes. Service is slow, and it almost seems like they want you to dine and dash as you wait patiently for the ticket for the tab.

Awesome casual diner. I popped in a cold snowy day & was so happy to have hot coffee and the gyros & eggs platter. The pita bread is fresh & the gyro meat tender & well seasoned. The eggs were perfect. I will be back for this dish. It would be a great place to cure hangovers too.

We’ve been driving by this place for a while and finally decided to try it. Pretty good breakfast spot! Our server was always on top of things and made sure we never ran out of coffee. I ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo which was HUGE and definitely a good portion for the price. The green chili was pretty good, although I could have used a little more. I liked the hashbrowns that were inside the burrito because they weren’t all super crispy. My boyfriend’s corned beef hash was also a big portion and came with a couple pancakes. They have a pretty big menu so I wouldn’t mind coming back and trying some other breakfast items.

We stopped in for breakfast yesterday and we were pleasantly surprised. The quality of the meals for breakfast are excellent and very good prices. The breakfast steak burrito looked huge! Will return again.

Pretty disappointed, as I hoped this place could become my new neighborhood dive. Things started off great; friendly hostess, packed tables, good smells. It’s a diner, kinda hard to mess up right? Wrong. They done f-ked it up. Let’s start with the 50 minute wait for our food. I watched our waitress fumble with a large party, then walk over after half an hour, shrug and blame it on the kitchen. Then we see her frantically putting an order in back. In retrospect, I’m pretty sure she forgot our order. Fast forward another 15 minutes, we have no water, drinks or anything and she asks if we’re okay. I’m hungry. Pretty easy to figure out after 45 minutes how I’m doing. Food arrives, and low, we are graced with an attempt at their version of a Denver omelette. I didn’t know Denver omelettes came with olives. You know why I didn’t know that? Because they don’t. Never have, never will. Eggs, overcooked and dark brown from sitting on the stove top too long. Empty ketchup bottles.(I know, not a big deal, but at this point I’m preening shit-feathers off a shit-bird with this brunch.) Anyways, we smiled, thanked them for our brunch, paid and left. I’m glad I tried this place out b/c I’ll never be coming back.

Definitely a diner! We went here for breakfast. Everything was pretty good, but I have to say I left craving their pancakes. They are fantastic! They weren’t heavy or doughy and had fantastic buttermilk flavor.

First time coming in and greeted right away! Staff was very friendly. Pork Chops taste great. The smothered Chile relleno was awesome! Hash browns are good too! The most important thing of all is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Really clean.

Nick’s is where you will find our family most Sunday mornings. Fast and friendly service and a solid menu. I’m no longer looking to hang out for a half an hour before getting a table and at Nick’s, even when they are busy they manage to get us right in. Pancakes make the kids happy, I enjoy the eggs and hash browns, and the husband is obsessed with the gyros. Check it out.

I loved the Greek skillet. Thick cuts of juicy gyros, olives, feta etc. The servers were incredibly friendly and attentive. Bonus star for Free Wifi. Décor could use some love… but it has a sort greasy-spoon charm to it.

Nick’s Diner is exactly what I thought it would be. No frills, just reasonably priced breakfast food. Omelets, skillets, toast, pancakes, and coffee with a friendly atmosphere. There is a little Greek flair in the menu with gyros and Greek salads. There are a few Greek inspired breakfast items that look worth checking out. If you’re looking for a classic breakfast place with a mom and pop touch, Nick’s is your spot. You’ll get good food and prompt service.
