It says online you deliver, but when I tried, you said no?

I just ate my pizza from the OPC and I am rather satisfied. The wait for a delivered pizza was a bit long(an hour, which was what I was quoted), but it was actually worth it. Although the crust wasn’t my absolute favorite G-free, it was decent. What I really liked was the tasty tomato sauce. The other toppings were good too: spinach, red onion, red peppers, and bacon! It all tasted fresh, and flavorful. I didn’t order a specialty because most of them have alfredo sauce, which just scares me, although, apparently, you can make substitutions. Next time. It appears you can order online, but I could not for the life of me, find out how to order a gluten free crust for any pizza. So I called in my order. The guy on the phone wasn’t the nicest, but did inform me that not all of the pizza is take-and-bake, you can have it delivered cooked, which the website isn’t specific about, nor is Unilocal.I had it delivered baked, which was welcomed, after waiting an hour to get the pizza. Sitting here finished, I just wish I had ordered a medium, instead of a small. Again, next time.

Love this place! Full disclosure, I used to do some work for this company, but as I no longer do, I figured I was unbiased enough to review! Top reasons I love OPC: 1) Great, friendly staff, and owners who care about the community and customers. They also work with a lot of local and green suppliers. 2) Pizza is yum-city and made will all-natural and organic ingredients. 3) Signature pizzas are delish — some sound a little out-of-the-box, but don’t let that deter you from trying them. I have had them all(no, really) and there is not one I didn’t love. 4) Creative ingredients like duck, fruit, etc. 5) The have whole wheat thin crust so I feel good about eating it(they have white and gluten free too). 6) Even though it’s take-and-bake, they deliver. 7) They now do lunch slices! There were a few issues with the crust back when they first opened(and I was still working with them), but seems to be all worked out now. I’ve been back several times in the past month or so, and to the new downtown location, and all is great. I highly recommend!

Nice, friendly place — I just wish the pizza had lived up to the friendly staff. Toppings were good, but the crust tasted like it was frozen pizza variety. And since it’s a little pricey — not good. I might give it one more try and not get the whole wheat crust — and have them bake it.

Really good take and bake pizza. High quality ingredients. I ordered online and it was super easy.

Yum! This is good pizza! I had received a gift certificate for Organic Pizza Company and Brent N. and I decided to use it last night. I went in and was greeted by two friendly staff members. I asked a bunch of questions about the menu, explaining that while I like creative pizzas, my dining partner doesn’t. So the woman told me we could create our own pizza. So I ordered our usual: pepperoni, sausage, green olives and mushrooms with a regular marinara sauce(see picture). We followed their directions for the conventional ovens, about the only challenge was transporting the unbaked pizza into the oven, but we did it and it came out perfectly… and it was one tasty pizza! You genuinely can taste the difference in the quality of the ingredients they use. I will definitely be returning to Organic Pizza Company soon to try The Donald which looks incredible.

Yum! Go grab dinner at this place. It’s take and bake but with oh so many delicious ingredients and combos! You can get wheat or regular crust and the one we had with alfredo and prosciutto was great. They said that they also deliver so you can pre-heat the oven and wait for the pie to be delivered and pop it in, yay lazy dinner! We’ll be back, and will probably try the pheasant.

I continued my organic streak last week(and my rhyming streak, which is quite weak) with a visit to OPC. A generous, thoughtful friend gifted me with a coupon and it was perfect timing to use it on the night before Thanksgiving when cooking a meal for me was the last thing on my mind with all the chaos in the kitchen. I had my meat-loving man in mind when I ordered the Carnivore topped with five meats: pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, capicola and pancetta. They assured me it wouldn’t be meat overload and it actually wasn’t. I also added artichoke hearts and black olives. It was topped perfectly(I could get it in and out of my oven without making a huge mess and losing toppings everywhere) and I asked if I could add some mushrooms and spinach I had in the fridge at home, or if that would upset the delicate toppings balance. They told me to go for it, so I baked our pie at home with my additions, and sprinkled the fresh parsley that came with on top after it came out of the oven. I love the idea of sending home a bag of fresh herbs to top the pizzas, but I think I would have preferred basil because I just love basil. I wanted to to try their whole wheat crust(is that like ordering a big mac with a diet Coke?) and it was not too thin nor too wheaty but still had that tasty cracker crunch. We devoured a large and even forced down the last few slices because neither of us wanted to leave any behind. Plus we needed to extend our bellys for the feast the very next day. I loved the tangy sauce and fresh flavor of each distinct topping, meaty as they were. Great concept, clean and cute store with super friendly employees. A large Carnivore is $ 15.99 and with my two additional toppings, it ran $ 19.99, which is comparable to other pizza places nearby, which means I’m not overpaying for organic goodies :)

I was initially leery of the Organic Pizza Co, because it’s take ‘n bake pizza, and I haven’t had any outstanding experiences with take ‘n bake, but the Organic Pizza Co is different. It’s very good. The toppings are top notch and gourmet(duck, pheasant, pancetta, etc.). The crust was really tasty and came out of our oven crisp. Also they send you home with a packet of fresh herbs to sprinkle on the pizza after it’s done cooking. The only down side is that it’s a bit pricey, but it’s worth it and I’ll be back.

First! Giving pizza four stars is good for pizza. We live in the highlands, and delivery here is barely 2 stars. This pizza is not already cooked, so you have to have a working oven. Not being cooked means you get it quick! Ten minutes for us. With the baking time of only 15 minutes, preheat time added, it only took 35 minutes total. This is faster than any delivery I’ve ever had on a friday night and better. The crust is thin, a I’m a fan of ultra thin. The ingredients are fresh, and the pizza holds together unlike frozen pies. They try to keep in as organic as possible, but being in the organic food industry, I know thats it’s very hard for someone to do and keep an interesting, diverse menu. Even Whole Foods’ pizzas aren’t completely organic. I have to say that these pies are alot better than Whole Foods’ take and bake pizzas and oven fired, too much cheese for me. They’re open now, but the grand opening is Sunday, October 3. Check these guys out. We ordered the jamaican jerk, the herbivore, and made our own with buffalo and pep. Keep it up.
