I came here for the wings. I’ve been meaning to come over to this spot since I moved here last august. Finally got the chance to, and I’m glad I finally did! I tried all the flavors and they are all pretty good! The wings sometimes have this amazing crunchyness, while the others had a bit more chewy skin. They were great nonetheless! They are a bit messier than the traditional wing but it’s finger lickin’ good lol. I tried to come as early as possible and I’m glad I did but it would of been cool to go around karaōke time. Some of the waitresses are really cute. Specifically my server was. I was so dabbed out and she was super patient and friendly with me which was cool and what I needed in my wing night. I think her name started with an A. Lol I’m Checkin out the pub on Penn next week. Mainly cause I have class at Auraria that day and my home is forever away from either of these pubs.

The sister bar to Pub on Penn, is bro central. It is always slammed when we are there. The environment is far louder than the Penn, and it is hard to even talk in there sometimes. People watching can be a plus. They have wing night of Thursdays, just try finding a seat? This place is alright once is awhile, but I don’t really fit in with a screaming sports fueled crowd.

I’ve only been here during their $ 5 wing night and I am a fan of their wings. They offer a few different varieties. I am partial to the spicy garlic, but last week they had a thai flavor that was also pretty good. It’s always really busy so service can be a little slow but it’s to be expected and I feel like everyone is doing their best to get people in an out. If you’re looking for a cheap meal with friends, this is definitely a great spot to be at on Thursdays, especially when it’s nice outside because they have two patios.

I’ve come here before during a mini cruiser ride and it was a mellow, fun time. Then I came back on a karaōke Thursday and all of a sudden this place became a Bro bar. Service was terribly slow, so I ended up getting drinks at the bar. Bartender wasn’t exactly the friendliest. I do like the back patio, so maybe I’ll just stick to coming here on Sundays.

Thursday night all you can eat traditional wings for $ 5. They have 5 – 7 different flavors and I enjoy all of them, some more than others. Just went for my 3rd time last night and other than difficulty trying to find a table, it was the best time yet. Yes this place is super busy on Thursdays because it is so cheap and the wings are pretty darn good for only paying $ 5. You order 5 wings at a time but the servers are good about letting you order your next round when they deliver a round to you. Great place to watch a game and it is an Iowa bar in particular. Don’t go in expecting to have amazing service every time, understand that the servers are extremely busy and they are working their tails off. Be patient and also understand that they get treated like trash and sometimes have an «off» night. One last thing, you are getting CHEAP beer and wings… tip them well because they are working extremely hard to keep us happy.

This place is really growing on me. Initially, I was quickly over the loud, over-crowded, dRuNk, sports junkies, but now, it isn’t as bad. Don’t get me wrong, it is till PACKED and people are still DrUnK… buuuut when you get into the mix and bring friends, this place can be a great place to be. Pitchers of bud light are $ 8, they have Beer pong table and they even supply the cups and balls. They have all you can eat wings on Thursday nights which brings a HUGE crowd, and they always have fun food and drink deals running. The food is good and the prices are really reasonable. The servers could be quicker, but really there should probably be one or two extra servers when they are at peak times. Our server was great, but seemed to be running around like a chicken with her head cut off most of the time. That kinda takes the fun out of it, ya know? Anyways, give this place a shot. Park on the street and even check out the patio in the very back. There is something for everyone at the POP!

This place can get crazy packed. Its usually a great crowd since they are so close to the lightrail. A good mix of office staff walking home from the train and hip folks just out for a cheap happy hour. They have live music on occasion and I’ve heard some good stuff. Don’t forget about the back patio. We’ve been lucky enough to grab tables back there and its not so loud that you have to yell a conversation.

Easily the best deal on wings you will find in Denver on any given Thursday! Pub on Pearl has great weekly specials but the unlimited wings for $ 5 is a serious steal from 5 – 11. If you are planning on getting a seat you definitely need to show up early, anything past 6:15 and the entire restaurant becomes standing room only and people lurk around tables waiting for them to clear. Wing flavors here are different, my personal favorites are the spicy buffalo and the spicy garlic(beware with the garlic you will smell like garlic for days). I love that they bring you out a little wet nap to clean your hands with each basket. Definitely try the sweet potato tater tots, these are fantastic. The street taco deal that they do is also really delicious. Not only does Pub on Pearl have great dinner food but they also have delicious breakfast burritos for only $ 1.99! That’s right, $ 1.99!

For a somewhat-cliché sports bar crawling with crazy football fans, drunk fools, and buckets of coors light — this place is pretty fun. For a pretty packed Saturday night when the pro-football playoffs were at its peak — the server maintained a steadfast flow of great service. My beer was never empty for longer than a second, before she came around to get us riled up again for the second round… er…or third… or fourth. And if you’re not in the mood for their specials on beer that usually feature the mainstream lite beers, they still do offer a pretty decent tap list. I even tried New Belgium’s new porter there and it was divine. The long narrow bar lends itself to more of a party set-up with only minimal high-top seating along the wall, which is perfect for those rowdy groups watching sports and need to stay standing. Plus — there is more seating in the back where the pool, ping pong, and beer pong tables are featured. Like I said, it’s hard to not have fun here. You just have to toss your high brow self aside, have a beer(or three), and enjoy the scene.

I came here on a Thursday night for the $ 5 all you can eat wings special and it was PACKED! There was no place to sit, so we had to take the seats available in the patio. A denver night in January is NOT the perfect time to sit outside for wings. But we had no choice. we ate delicious wings while freezing our butts off. My favorite was the garlic and the spicy. I didn’t really like the original… and the Asian and thai bbq ones were too sweet. They also took super long in between bringing the wings… but I guess I have to understand b/c they were super busy. I’m serious, it was PACKED… I’ll definitely come back for this deal. but maybe come a little earlier than 7pm so that we can get seats inside. Shock top is on draft and goes sooooooo well with the wings. Street parking was easy to find!

Come when Charlie is working — he’s the most friendly dive bar bartender I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere is definitely a neighborhood dive bar, which could typically put off a «you’re not welcome» vibe to a newbie like me, but Charlie was awesome and made us feel right at home. The burgers(never frozen) are small but when topped with jalepenos and bacon… are the perfect size. The huz got Cajun wings — dry rubbed and the perfect portion(to share a few with me!). We had a great experience and will be back.

Classic neighborhood dive bar with tvs, cheap drinks and pretty good food. There was one OUTSTANDING feature: service. Charlie was our server and he kicked ass! High energy, passionate and knowledgeable. In the words of Arnie, I’ll be back.

If you find yourself all alone in this grim pub, find Charlie and he will make this place what it is. On fact, Charlie may be this pubs best kept secret. Charlie, we hope you get picked up at a top notch speak easy and own your own one day. The Cajun wings are worth coming back for. Great drink prices, bar food, hard to hate. See you next time Charlie!

Awesome on Wing Night, better with the new back room. Would give them 4 stars but the last two times I got wings(During Sept. 2014); it took 7 days for each payment to show on my bank account. I shouldn’t have to wait 7 days for a payment to show up! I didn’t have this problem during March Madness last year! Great Wings, Service has dropped a little.

I’ve came here a couple times on Thursday for their all you can eat wings for $ 5. The price and food is good. The wait staff comes around frequently to ask if you’d like to put in another order for wings. I’ve tried all their wings and my two favorite are cajun and garlic. I think their wings and drumsticks are bigger than most places so you get a good amount of meat on them. The cajun spice mix is tasty and I almost like it the best to not get all messy. Each table is sufficiently equipped with a stack of napkins to combat your saucey fingers. The garlic sauce here is very garlicky which I love. If you’re here on a date, don’t get the garlic wings if you plan to get close to anyone later that night… unless they love garlic, then you’re golden.

I found this little gem of a pub through the grape vine. I’ve only been here on Thursdays because of their $ 5 all you can eat wings but it seems like a pretty chill sports bar. Be sure that the company you bring is 21+ because they do ID at the door. Parking is a bit difficult especially during happy hour but street parking is readily available. The walk isn’t too bad. The prime time to go is at 5 pm on Thursdays because that’s when they begin serving $ 5 wings AND it’s still happy hour(ends at 6pm). In the back room there is a pool table and a beer pong table with various televisions to watch whatever game is going on at the time. The servers are really nice, although it may take some time to get your order through during rush hours. There’s also a back patio where groups sit and where people could smoke(if you’re in to that type of stuff). I would have given it five stars but when it’s packed, it’s difficult to navigate your way around the pub(especially since I’m only 5’5″) All in all, it’s worth giving it a shot.
