Food is ok. Wiorst service ever. Dinner tonight. Waiter was rude, arrogant and inattentive.

We came here on a Saturday and to be honest, I did not expect this place to be decent based on disappointment from other Denver bar and grill restaurants we’ve tried. However, I was quite surprised that the brisket and bbq sauce was good. Also, the side selection of seasoned and oiled ginger kale with onions was very good. We ate in the patio area but the inside has plenty of TV screens to enjoy a sports game. My mother in law said the turkey wrap was really good as well. They also had a decent selection of brews on tap although I actually refrained from a beverage. I heard the happy hour is good too(as with Max’s across the street). If you’re hungry while in wash park, this place is worth a try.

For late night drinks, this place was a good time. It was around 10is on Saturday night when a dozen + of us stumbled into this spot and we had a blast. The most affordable moscow mules I’ve ever seen, C squared cider and a variety of local brews were enjoyed. Two weird things were that they took our drink orders and gave us our checks well before we got our drinks. Also, they closed off the ‘dining’ area putting chairs on tables well before closing. But overall, this joint was welcoming and a good time for enjoying some bevvies with a large group!

Horribly slow service from clueless waitress. Forgotten beers multiple times. Place 80% empty at 9:00 pm on a Friday night. Out of first two choices of draft beer. Out of ingredients for a featured cocktail. Unable to sub another bbq choice for an up charge. Unable to provide a bbq choice as a side — had to order an entire second entrée just to try a sausage link. No apologies on any failures from server. We live in the neighborhood and my wife was just coming around to like this place — thought it was too«divey». Usually we go to other options on Gaylord. Probably lost us as customers unless neighbors want to go. Not surprised it was empty on a Friday night. Food was okay though — although waitress wasn’t sure if they could brew decaf coffee for our dessert orders. This was a Friday night for goodness sakes! They are open until 2:00 am and 80% empty at 9:00. Gee — maybe they could find the time to brew some decaf — gee — maybe have some available on a Friday night. What a disapointing evening. However, the company of our neighbors was great and a Valentine’s dinner at Elway’s is in our future tomorrow and this place will be a bad memory.

Sanitation is in question as has been witnessed by the restrooms and the proximity to the kitchen. Although I’ve been a frequent customer for years, it was a recent and OVERT occurence that made me wonder why more health inspections aren’t conducted here … this place is not clean and management doesn’t seem to hold to regulations. There have been several City inspections conducted over the past 2 years and each one has not met the full sanitation criteria. Very disappointed — and disgusted.

Came here with some friends last night… it was trivia night. I hadn’t seen my friend in ages and we really wanted to chat, but it made it obviously difficult over blaring voices on the loud speaker! We had a beer, two apps and left. Service was so incredibly slow, thankfully we were chatting and didn’t care too much. Great selection of Colorado beers! Tasty food.

Solid spot, good atmospheric condition and well-kept place. It’s a simple place with seating area where you can enjoy your drinks. I was looking for something unusual but I haven’t experience it there.

I have found a new obsession on South Gaylord. Reiver’s has a great space: the interior is a proper, no-frills pub with a large bar and comfortable seating. The exterior is a fully shaded patio with booths. Plus, Reiver’s has a quality selection of Colorado beer, great happy hour deals(two pints for $ 6!), and seriously delicious pup-fare. The fried chips are addictive, and you have your choice of a variety of beer-friendly food. Our service was great — quick and friendly! I’ll definitely be back!

Food poisoning is horrific from this place. When we arrived it was almost empty and I was a little suspicious because the neighboring restaurants weren’t. We ordered a few drinks then dinner and about 15 minutes later I was violently ill and had to leave. A burger and fries have never done that to me before. Something’s not right about the place right now. I’ve probably eaten there 25 times before. Will not be going back.

A bar with a fantastic menu as it shares the building and kitchen with a fine dining restaurant. For me, it’s central to where my friends live and is an easy meeting spot. I usually go to watch sporting events for which they usually put the sound on the speakers for us.

I went for Happy Hour, sat on the front patio with a friend. Its dark inside! Big list of happy hour items, which ranged from ~$ 1-$ 3 off the normal prices. We ordered nachos with chicken, edamame, and brussel sprouts. The food came out quickly, and the service was good. When the typical CO summer rain came down, the staff dropped the plastic curtains to shield us from the rain. The food was fine, but the brussel sprouts(which came recommended from the server) were small, bland, and soggy. Not my favorite! I’ll try it again, there is plenty to choose from. Plus Wash Park is a great area.

Usually this is one of our go to places but usually I order the usual, a burger. In the spirit of being a little healthier I went for the steak Cobb without bacon. There’s is made with a Gorgonzola dressing which is one of my favorite combinations. FYI the blue cheese dressing(as wait staff calls it) tastes like a watered down ranch and doesn’t have one single chunk in it. I know this because my salad came without any on it and I asked for 2 desperate containers. Both were the same. I don’t know if management has changes recently but we have noticed MANY disappointing changes happening in reavers which makes me sad as I love the old south Gaylord establishments but if they keep this up more chains will take theirs spots without hesitation.

solid. Good service. Good tap list and a good happy hour. They have redone the place since my last review. It’s considerably better now. Max Gill and Grill is still my go to on Gaylord. Reivers is now an option as well.

You should be here. Great area, food and service. The smokes wings and poutine really hit the spot. Try the hoss bbq sauce on the side of your wings, cant go wrong. The staff is very knowledgable as well. Very friedly and engaging, I really dig this spot

Terribly slow service. Who cares how the food was, I can’t handle being virtually ignored. I literally had to head to the bar myself to get drinks for the table. Gabe, sorry dear… just not up to par!

I love Reivers. Dave is working again which is awesome because he and Bryan are the best. Trivia on Tuesdays is a good time. The menu is diverse and done well. The barbecue is some of the best in Denver I wish they wound expand on their BBQ selection.

I like the place — excellent roasted chicken salad. It was spacious and quiet for a Monday lunch with colleagues and we got a lot of work accomplished. Based on that I’m a fan of Reiver’s as it appears to be more than just a sports bar tavern, although I’m sure it’s a pretty good one at that for Gaylord Street in Wash Park. I have a feeling competition from Tavern Wash Park made Reivers’ step up their game a bit — and it seems to have worked.

Reiver’s is a welcome break from the other Gaylord Street establishments. I do frequent many of these places and enjoy them, but I will not lie, they can be quite pretentious! Reiver’s has a very laid back vibe. The menu has basic bar food, but there are some items where they step it up a notch by using the in house smoker. I love the smoked wings with buffalo sauce. They have a nice variety of salads, sandwiches, and apps. They have a particular side I enjoy that is quite unique called chessy corn. It’s a mixture of corn, cheese and green chili, and it’s really good! Do give it a try! The beer menu is not that expansive and service can be a bit slow. Take advantage of the valet parking when available.

Had a pulled pork sandwich and a beer. Couldn’t say that anything really stood out about this place. Wouldn’t make a special trip out of my way.
