Sara was a lifesaver…
I had planned a surprise engagement getaway weekend with my girlfriend (now fiancé) in Denver. I had my entire plan put together for how I would get her to Denver (fake wedding), where we would stay, what we would do, etc. However, the one thing I was unsure of was exactly how and where I would pop the big question. I was not very familiar with Denver since I live in Austin and google earth only got me so far.
That’s where Sara came in… I found Sara through Unilocal since her office was in the vicinity of the fake wedding and I have to honestly say that we were truly blessed to have found Sarah by pure luck. When I first called her and told her the outline of my plan she was extremely excited and very willing to help. Sara provided recommendations on the exact spot to pop the question and even had a back up plan in the case of bad weather. I remained in constant contact with Sara throughout the planning period and when the big day finally arrived, the weather was a brisk 11 degrees and snowing. With my girlfriend being a very petite Texas girl our original plans for an outdoor engagement wasn’t happening. Luckily, I was able to text Sara and we switched to her recommended backup plan of a local coffee shop.
When we arrived at the coffee shop, Sara had saved us a table and was inconspicuously waiting with a camera to catch the action. When I finally popped the question, Sara caught it all on camera. Then, when we were both a little dumbfounded after I had somehow tricked this girl into spending the rest of her life with me Sara quickly jumped in to prevent any second thoughts. Sara had a plan for an awesome little photo shoot and the pictures turned out perfectly.
I don’t think I can say enough how thankful we are that Sara was a part of our big day. She actually told us she was so excited she couldn’t sleep the night before OUR engagement. Her enthusiasm and creativity were so appreciated and I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for a photographer.
