Lots of vintage costume jewelry and a handful selection of gold/silver jewelry. The owner is very friendly and even directed us to Manhattan West across the street after learning what we were looking for. Currently there are lots of pieces marked 50% off. If I have a theme party coming soon, I might check out this place again.

Happened across this place while perusing Antique Row with a friend during a trip to Denver(thanks to ). It’s a quaint little establishment, serviced by a sweet and cordial lady who chatted us up the entire time we were in the store. Pat on the back. Her friendliness was a point of sincerity and duly noted by my friend and me due to the fact that we had walked into multiple antique shops previously and had not a word spoken to us by the shop tenders. Seriously ill-advised and quite rude. This place was recommended to us by the chick manning the roller derby store two doors down due to the massive jewelry options. You need only say ‘jewelry’ to me once. We were not disappointed — there was jewelry for absolutely every price point, including other fun finds such as tiaras, hats, lamps and vases. There were multiple tables of jewelry that was 50% off — I scooped a pair for only SIXBUCKS! In spite of the meager price, the saleswoman(I really wish I would have gotten her name) placed my set in a nice jewelry box for transport. Another pat on the back. This store had, by far, the largest array of jewelry selection of the few blocks that we ventured onto. There were many antique stores with lots of jewelry, but most all were priced well over $ 100 accompanied by some of the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. If and when I find myself back in Denver and in the mood for some antiquing, I’ll gladly pop back in.

I am so tickled to be The First to review Somewhere in Time; surprised, yet tickled– I would think this would be a fav amongst costume and antique jewelry fans. Never-the-less — While looking for Antique Jewelry for my upcoming nuptials, I stumbled across this organized and well stocked jewelry store. Somewhere in Time had display case after display case of period piece jewelry as well as Good Costume pieces that would have you doing the«Is it real» head scratch – While other store fronts I visited had some lovely pieces, none of them had the selection that S.I.T. has. I also felt confident that the pieces were of high qualify, and properly restored. The owner was very helpful and patient. The pride she takes in her restoration is apparent in every piece. I did initially have a problem finding the store, as I didn’t have an address beyond Broadway — it’s located in what I call«Lower South Broadway» — close to I25, not far from Bistro one– but now that I know where it is, I will surely be back.
