Sprint Store

As I always do, I upgraded my phone to a new Samsung at the end of another two year contract with Sprint. This time, however, Sprint offered a new option called «leasing» that interested me to learn more about. While this review is not in regard to Sprint products or upgrade options — it is important to note the background to the very long process I went through until finally receiving honest and fair service at the Quebec location.
In Summary:
* Upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S6 in late March
* In early April, purple dots began to appear on pictures taken with front-​view camera (a Samsung issue not Sprint but Sprint is my carrier (aka: liaison)
* By early May I brought it into a Sprint store yet their techs were unavailable for that day (of course)… but they still made a ticket for me
* In July, the problem was still very much present, took it into another Sprint location… they said they would replace it but with a refurbished phone (which is incredible unfair given I would still be paying the $ 5 lease a month for a used/​refurb phone)
* The refurb phone arrived, but would not self-​activate. After three days of trying, I finally went into another Sprint store to have them activate it. He tried for 45 minutes, then he called into Sprint for the second guy to try for 45 minutes, to then be transferred to another person who tried for 30 minutes before saying they would replace the refurb phone
* The tricky part was however, I had already spent 2 hours in transferring all my data from the original phone to the refurb phone — now only to realize I couldn’t activate the refurb phone AND the original phone had a deadline to return to Sprint without penalty (once the refurb phone was received)
* So God’s timing was key here… I could only pray that the second replacement phone would get here in time to still return the original on-​time after receiving the refurb and then of course, having it all transferred from the refurb to the second replacement
* After 7 days of waiting and no second replacement phone, I got a call from my dad — who had received the phone at his house in St. Louis even AFTER spelling out my Denver address TWICE to the lady on the phone!!! I’m obviously freaking out now. Like, seriously? What is going on?!
Finally, I went into the Quebec Sprint location and was turned over to the customer service representative, Jordan. I explained all of the above (but in far more detail and not in a happy tone) yet Jordan was willing and ready to put this to rest for me!
There was not an easy answer to remedy my issue (s). Since March I had already had two phones in my possession with the third in my dad’s possession AND I was asking for a new phone rather refurb given the issues I had thus far.
Long story short, Jordan was able to sum up the very inconsistent, mostly exaggerated experience I received thus far from other Sprint reps and turn it into a «cause» deserving immediate attention as an exception to his manager; and was successful in doing so.
In addition, he took the time to breakdown the differences between all reps I’ve worked with thus far so I would know who to discuss future issues with so no more of my time would be wasted.
I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for Jordan’s help. I haven’t had issues with my phone since Jordan’s assistance in concluding the longest process ever in purchasing a new phone!

Staff was super helpful, as I was inquisitive and hungover. Boys to Men was playing seductively in the background as retail consultant, Watani, deciphered through my mindless babble and questions about everything possible. I was hesitant about the switch and he helped me make the transition with confidence. Way to go guys. A potential painful experience was super easy. Thanks!

The music was loud and store was noisy, even with only a few customers. The greeter said something, but I couldn’t hear. I said, «sorry, I didn’t hear you, the music is kind of loud.» He just stared at me. To ease the situation I smiled and said «how are you today?» He finally smiled and said good and repeated what he said when I entered the store…“what can we do for you today?” A Sprint rep came over immediately, which I appreciated, but there was no personality or patience and it was hard to hear over the noise.
I am an ATT customer and considering switching to a new carrier with a better monthly plan. However, If this type of customer service and store atmosphere is what I am in for with Sprint, I will reconsider that option. I may try another store and see if the customer service is more welcoming and the experience is less stressful.

Craptacular. I interacted with 5 «consultants» including the Manager, Keely in person or on the phone. Each experience made me wonder how this place is still in business. Long story short, they need to inform clients on all the details of plans, the return policies and be able to clearly state the costs of their devices and services. I asked, «What’s the return policy?» Answer, «Just bring it back within 14 day.» «That’s it?» Answer, «Yup! We make it easy.» When I returned I learned there was a $ 75.00 restock fee that I should’ve know about because it’s on the receipt. Unfortunately, this is just one of the important details they left out. I am still thinking about returning the phone and moving on to Verizon.
My advice: Be proactive! Print receipt for customer and highlight the details that are often over looked so everyone is feeling informed. If the they insist on an email receipt verbally highlight details that are often overlooked.
P. S. Sprint host at front door, if someone walks in and you’re on the phone, just look up and smile and mouth, «I’ll be right with you» and don’t get butt hurt if a customer waits for some acknowledgment, doesn’t get it and then walks to the back of the store and connects with one of the three people who are just sitting there at the desk.

After my divorce and the breakup of our family plan, I had to get my own phone service I came here and the staff was great, I thought I’d continue with a Sprint plan. This store has a lot of bells and whistles and I got a phone and the everything else but it was the first I phone I tried. Well I had it for a bit and I realized, gee all the calls east to my old homey friends were not sounding so hot and I (duh!) looked on the coverage maps and discovered, oh, maybe Verizon had better coverage for that area. So I took it all back, a bunch of money and the guy was… deflated but they did it. Now I have Verizon but I am only half happy with them and I often go back to this store because they have good tech support and good product lines. I like this store and plan on going back to Sprint next year. And they carry an AWESOME necklace-​style LG bluetooth that I reccomend to all my buddies.

Came into the store minutes before closing and the fellas here stayed late to help me out. Rene and the manager Jimmy are amazing dudes and took great care of me. Gotta love people who go out of their way to help people! This made the switch from Verizon worth it!

No 4G in Denver and all of their sales people will straight up lie to you. If you want to be back in 1997 dial up go for them.

HORRIBLE customer service at this store always! I have been to this store on 3 occasions only because it is the closest to my home. The customer service reps are horrible each time, men and women. They have no regard for customers. I came in 10 minutes before closing to buy a new iphone. When I couldn’t find the iphones, I asked where they were and was told they put them away bc they were closing, when I said, yeah in 10 minutes, the guy laughed at me. I then asked him if it was possible to buy a phone before closing (I am already a Sprint Customer so I just needed to pay for the phone) and he said no and laughed again. Never in my life have I seen such bad customer service like I repeatedly do in this store. They all need major training at this store.

Still an awesome experience.
Went here to update my phone to an Android phone. What a smooth process for a quick update. The whole process probably took 30 minutes and that included uploading my contacts and pics. The Sprint representative totally made the experience worth it.
Quick tip for you — Show up when the store opens or you may be in for a long wait.

Huge location. Friendly staff — although they have no idea where their other stores are.
They helped us determine our ability to upgrade to the newest «mifi».
They did not have the device we needed and offered a possible «free» business cost on the item which the second store did not offer, so that was a disappointment.

I went to this Sprint store include my mother in my family plan and get her a new phone. Two reps were in the store that I could see, so the wait was longer than I’d like; it was about 20 minutes before we spoke to a rep.
When we did speak to the rep, he was friendly, helpful, and explained the new phone’s features to my (technologically inept) mother. It was quick and painless.
I would give them a fourth star if they were willing to bend their upgrade rules. My husband was eligible for the full upgrade discount, but my upgrade discount was about a month and a half away and they refused it. I had hoped that three new phones (and a plan upgrade!) would’ve swayed them a little, but I guess I was wrong.

Oh, that’s right, I can’t!
The employees here aren’t the brightest stars in the solar system… While I was waiting with my friend for her crackberry to be ‘fixed,’ in a fraction of the time it took them to muddle around with my friends crackberry, that ended with the suggestion of wiping the handset and reloading the operating system, I was able to google a solution on my phone.
Although, I do have to hand it to them, they do try hard to make sure you’re happy. They’re ahead of the curve compared to other places, so it’s not a total loss here…

The management is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Who knew?
My third trip to Sprint was much more pleasant. I got an email saying my phone was ready yet again and I was skeptical.
Surprise Surprise, after a short wait I was greeted AND by a manager, this was looking good. Not only did he have my phone behind the counter, he activated it and transferred my address book. On top of that he was able to answer a few questions, and show me a shortcut for my phone!
So, thank you to Retail Manager at Sprint for your patience and knowledge… you have earned your store two stars of improvement from my previous trips.

The only reason this wireless store gets 1 star is because there is no option for «no stars — you suck». This is the worst Sprint retailer I have ever visited and I thought the first time I walked in that maybe it was a bad day and I would just wait it out and hope for a different customer service rep. next time. Well, too bad so sad, same hateful, smug, «I hate my job, I hate my life and everyone will suffer and feel my misery» csr the 2^nd (AND LAST) time I visited that store.
I had my favorite wireless store, but I moved and thought, I’ll save the drive time and check this one out. 1^st visit sucked. Poor customer service, terrible attitude, accompanied by that smug, tightlipped «F-​you» smile.
2^nd visit — emergency! I dropped my phone and could no longer wait to get a new one. On this visit, Hateful Betty took my corporate media flyer and looked up my account and informed me that to get the new phone they advertised I would have to pay full price b/​c I wasn’t due for an upgrade until the day after my incentive (coupon) expired, after refusing to look up the information I asked for and giving me the tightlipped «F-​you» purse again. I thought «WTF!» I’m the customer, F-​you!
Luckily, my favorite wireless Toy store took me back with open arms and gave me 50% off my newest, bestest toy, and I will never EVER go anywhere else again.
Boooo Sprint store… yea! Red Stripe.
