Great spot to try a cool beer and meet with a friend. The service is fast which I appreciated. The beer I tried was light but delicious and it was the peanut butter and jelly beer. It sounds weird but it was actually pretty good. I had another dark beer which was tasty too as they give a free shooter with your Unilocal check-in. I would definitely go again.

I go here often with my boyfriend and we are always treated well. Bartender is knowledgeable about the beers on tap and makes recommendations based on our tastes. Always willing to put a soccer game for us as well. Anytime people ask for a place to go I always tell them about the tap house!

In comparison to some of the other reviews, we were really impressed by the service here. We came with a big group during a Broncos game, and our server was attentive, friendly, helpful, and never pushy. There are board games and cards stocked on shelves by the tables. Great selection of local craft brews on tap. The menu is organized by type of beer, so you can easily browse for a favorite or for something new. There is no kitchen, but you can bring in food from wherever you’d like, and there are several local restaurants that deliver for no charge. Finally, my requisite«kid-friendly» piece– though I would never dock a restaurant or bar stars for NOT having this, I’d like to add that they were really friendly about us having my baby daughter with us. I really appreciate restaurants and bars that let us feel like we can still have a grownup life. =) My only complaint is the chairs aren’t really comfortable. They are lightweight metal chairs with no padding(I know, I’m getting really nit-picky).

I love how you can pretty much order any food you want and have them deliver it there… or you can bring in your own food. They have a lot of drinking incentives such as random raffles so the more you drink, the better chance you can win stuff. Staff are pretty cool. Lots and lots of beers on tap and bottles. I came here around the October timeframe so they had plenty of Octoberfest and pumpkin related beers. And they have the regular microbrews too, with a lot of them from the local areas. It’s a great way to impulse shop at the mall after a few rounds of some drinking debauchery here.

We were looking to have a drink before our movie and stumbled upon the Stapleton Tap House. It’s is unassuming and, with all of the other well lit signs of larger places, easy to miss. Inside it looks pretty cool and they have an interesting selection of beers. That’s where the coolness ends. I walk in and ask the bartender if we are supposed to just seat ourselves. He looks at me with these open sores on his face like I have done something to annoy him and says«Yeah. Sit wherever you want.» So we do. And he goes back to talking to the guy at the bar who is wearing a Stapleton Tap House shirt. And we wait… About five minutes later three people walk in and head straight to the bar and order drinks. The another guy walks to the bar and orders a drink. So I walk up and ask if there is a server or if I am supposed to order from the bar directly. He gets defensive, looks at me like I’m annoying him again says there were four people before me and asks what I want. I start to argue but it it wasn’t worth another second so I grabbed my wife and kid and left. Never. Never. Never will I spend a penny at this shit hole. So pissed. I hope the owner reads this. I’m sure his version is different but that’s how it went down and two employees ignoring customers and the open sores on the face is undeniable. Frickin’ gross. On a lighter note. There is a great place a few doors down called Cleatz. The server was as sweet as any server I have ever had. Maybe it’s just common courtesy but by comparison it was frickin’ nirvana.

This place is great! I just moved to the area and have been coming to the tap house for two or three times a week to grab a drink. They have draft beer from breweries all over the state and they are constantly rotating. Great customer service as the bartender remembers people and what they would like, which comes in handy when asking for recommendations when new stuff comes through. I wish they had a food menu, but since you can bring in outside food I just come prepared and grab something close by first to bring with me.

Great beer and relaxed atmosphere. They have a list of pumpkin and Oktoberfest beer!!! Their prices are fair: $ 2/taster.

They have a bunch of taps that features CO local beers including past award winners from the Great American Beer festival. The interior is airport themed as indicated by the number of airport pictures they have on their walls. They offer games inside like Battle of the Sexes. You can enjoy some sports in there as well(I think they had 2 TVs). I tried a flight of beer here that included a blonde, the earl(an earl grey tea infused beer), the death by coconut porter(this would go great in an ice cream beer float or in a cupcake because the coconut flavor was very dessert-like & sweet), a sour from Crooked Staves & a gin flavored beer. I liked how the flight was arranged from light to dark. The tasters are 2 oz each & are laid out for you on a piece of paper(not as cool as a wood plank but oh well). The worker here seemed chill. I think the location is great because it’s in a shopping plaza next to the movie theaters & next to an alcohol infused cupcake joint called Tipsy Cupcakes. It’s a great spot to grab some beer before/after a movie or a good place for people to sit down & get a drink while their friends are taking too long shopping nearby.

Love this place great location, not a chain. Also Cody knows his beers and most of the regulars. He is always happy to help with the new beers on tap and make good recommendations. Prices are good. They have light snacks, but you are always welcome to bring your own food. 30 rotating beers on tap friendly staff. Great seasonal selections and always a chill place.

Place was pretty good, very knowledgeable on the beers they had on tap and got a flight of tasters that I was impressed with. The only drawback was they were understaffed but I’m sure at other times when they are expected to be busy they’d have more then just one person working.

30 taps. They have kombucha on tap, but not a single American IPA. That should tell you everything you need to know about this place. Beers are $ 6, no happy hour. Just go down the block to Bar Louie for $ 3.25 Odell IPA drafts. Better than anything they serve here, and cheaper.

I guess I don’t get it? We went in and hoped to have some beers outside because, well, it’s a tap house. That wasn’t an option, and I feel like«tap house» is a stretch — the inside is cold, metallic, tall metal bar seating, and big flashy screens. Not much of a «hang and have a brew» vibe coming from this place. But, it does probably fit the Stapleton crowd. Sound carries, and the music playing when we went in was 90’s ska — and it was LOUD for an early afternoon. Just a bizarre atmosphere. We asked the bartender about some beer specifics and he was unable to give any answers. My partner is a brewer and the questions were not out of left field to ask a bartender at a tap house, so it was a bit of a let down. We won’t be going back.

With 30 taps devoted to primarily local Colorado craft breweries across the full array of beer styles, we try something new every time we stop in and we usually find something that we like. The beertenders are friendly and knowledgable. We always end up chatting at length about travel, outdoor activities, and of course, beer. The atmosphere is quiet and low key, with a selection of board games to choose from. Within walking distance, we enjoy stopping in for a pint or two and some Connect 4 to unwind after a bike ride.

I came in for a quick happy hour on a Friday night and it was a solid experience. Although the place is a bit hard to find in the Northfield Plaza it has a very laid back feel to it. Just some good beer and a place to hang out. All in all, it’s cool. First off, the beer selection is really good. They have rotating beers which means that there is always something new to try. They also have bottle beer if you just want to stick with an old trusted friend. The variety is great, as one would hope. They got IPA, blonde, cider, stout, ale, pale ale, and other awesome selection. Ask for a sample of a beer on tap and they are more than happy to oblige. The staff was attentive and polite which is always a good thing. Not too hard on the eyes either… There is some interesting art on the walls — pictures of the old Stapleton Airport. It’s a blast from the past for sure and worth a look to see a bit of Denver’s history. I also like the fact that you can order pizza from Marco’s next door and they will deliver it to you. Plus, the employees can help you select a beer that matches well with your pizza pie. It’s a little bit hidden but once you find it you’re in for a cool time. If you’re in the area and like me, just want a nice drink, then this place is an excellent option.

This place is great. Fun, crazy, cool. It was a great place to come after work with my husband. We sat at the bar and tasted. He got glasses, I got tasters. What a great idea! I could taste 10 – 15 different beers in one shot… I barely make it through one glass usually! No food but you can get them to make you popcorn(for a price, of course) or bring your own(total bonus). Cool concept! Glad to have them in Stapleton!

In a cookie-cutter development where everything else seems to be a chain, the Stapleton Tap House is like an oasis. Imagine going out to eat at a restaurant that served 20+ of the best dishes offered by emerging chefs all over the state. It would be impossible. But switch out dishes for beer, and that’s exactly what STH offers… a curated tour of many of our state’s best artisanal brewers. You might have faves not on the current list, but there will be things you’ve never tried. If you’re like me, malls are to be avoided. But Stapleton Tap House is worth a visit.
